Chapter 524: Chapter 529: Things That Can Change 7

“I… I haven’t recovered from the shock yet. Who asked you to be so… so brave!” Bai Qianqian managed to grit these words out through her teeth. “I really know I was wrong now. I won’t dare to lie again in the future.”

“… ”

“Alright then, just wait for ! After I finish the surgery, which will take about four or five hours, and then change my clothes, it’ll probably be late at night before I get there!” Bai Jingqing finally lifted the corner of his mouth in satisfaction.

“… ”

Bai Qianqian really wanted to curse his ancestors, but in the end, she could only say, “Okay, I’ll wait for you.”

After hanging up, Bai Jingqing instructed the lawyer standing by, “Get the paperwork done and just let her stay inside waiting for

to pick her up.”

Bai Jingqing absolutely had to teach this girl a lesson. Otherwise, she might really be getting way over her head!

Before leaving, he admonished the police chief one more ti, “Don’t let anyone into that room!”

The chief quickly agreed.

After the female cop left, only Bai Qianqian was left in the interrogation room. Looking at the empty surroundings, Bai Qianqian suddenly rembered the unpleasant mories of being frad and locked up by Gu Yunci.

She inexplicably felt fear from such a place …

When class ended at noon, Gu Qingxin planned to go back to the dormitory to apply so dication. With Bai Qianqian not around, she left the classroom with her classmates.

Going downstairs, she felt soone suddenly push her forcefully. Her feet stepping on thin air, she almost fell down due to a sudden loss of balance, and was saved by a classmate.

Gu Qingxin imdiately turned around to see a female classmate behind her. She wasn’t familiar with her. Further behind were Qu Annai and Leng Weiliang.

“What happened, Qingxin? Did you fall?” Leng Weiliang hurriedly walked over and asked with concern.

“I’m fine.”

“There are many people here. Be careful where you step,” Leng Weiliang warned with concern.

Gu Qingxin smiled at her and continued down the stairs…

Gu Qingxin didn’t want to think badly of anyone. Maybe no one pushed her on purpose. Perhaps there were just too many people and it got too crowded.

After returning to the dormitory with Leng Weiliang and Qu Annai, Gu Qingxin asked Leng Weiliang to help her put dicine on her injury. After all, it was on the back of her head, and it wasn’t easy for her to do it herself.

“Do I just put this straight on your injury?” While looking at her wound which wasn’t open but still scary with all the redness and blood veins, Leng Weiliang asked.

“Right, apply it.” Gu Qingxin read the instructions.

Without a doubt, Bai Jingqing was a thoughtful doctor. The dicine he provided had a sponge head, which would automatically squeeze out dicine when she lightly brushed it, sparing her from excessive pain.

If she used her hand to apply it, it wouldn’t be absorbed as well if she was too light-handed, but would hurt too much if she was heavy-handed.

That’s how she applied the dicine yesterday, but she was in so much pain at that point that she didn’t feel too much additional pain from the dicine.

But it was different now. Now it didn’t hurt when she didn’t touch it.

“Done!” Leng Weiliang helped her apply the dicine multiple tis. Finally, she couldn’t help but ask, “How did you get this wound? It looks quite severe!

“I bumped into a wall,” Gu Qingxin thanked her.

“How hard did you have to bump into that wall? Were you mugged or sothing?” Leng Weiliang asked.

“Almost, I guess. Anyway, I didn’t encounter any good people.” Gu Qingxin replied indifferently.

“What do you an by that, Gu Qingxin? Are you insinuating sothing?” Qu Annai ca out of the bathroom and threw her towel into the sink.

Gu Qingxin, “…”

Leng Weiliang hurriedly got up and said, “Annai, Qingxin isn’t talking about you. She’s talking about the bad guy who hurt her!”
