Capítulo 2189: Chapter 2204: Together If Compatible, Separate If Not (2)

She suddenly rembered that even though her mom and dad were getting divorced and her mom would be kicked out of the Lan Family, she was a child of the Lan Family! She belonged to the Lan Family; they couldn’t kick her out.

Grandmother doted on her the most. Though her father didn’t particularly love her, he was still good to her as his daughter.

Her mom couldn’t return to the Lan Family, but she could.

She had to go back; she couldn’t lose the status of Miss Lan, couldn’t lose the life of wealth and comfort!

Thinking of this, Lan Yunxin quickly wiped away her tears, stood up, and hurriedly left the hospital room. She needed to catch up with Ah Da, to return to the Lan Family with him.

When Beiming Qianqian woke up, there was no one by her side. Her chest still hurt. She wanted so water but no one responded to her calls. She reached out to press the call button and accidentally knocked over the hot water flask on the bedside table, almost burning herself.

The nurse rushed over and asked, “What do you need?”

“Water!” Beiming Qianqian struggled to sit up, leaning against the headboard, clutching her aching chest.

The nurse poured water for her to drink first and then began cleaning up the broken flask.

“Nurse, where is my daughter?” Beiming Qianqian finally caught her breath and anxiously asked the nurse.

“The red-haired girl who was with you before?”

“Yes, that’s her, she’s my daughter.” Beiming Qianqian nodded forcefully.

“She left… It seed like she said she was going ho. She left long ago, right after you were out of the operating room,” the young nurse said.

“What? She left?” Beiming Qianqian felt as if hit by a massive blow. Yunxin left? When she was wheeled out of the operating room, still not conscious, had Yunxin really just left her behind and gone? Back to the Lan Family?

Beiming Qianqian’s tears stread down, her lips trembling. She had poured everything she had into loving Yunxin and planning for her.

But now, in her uncertain life and death situation, Yunxin had just left her like that!

“Nurse, may I make a phone call?” Beiming Qianqian was still unwilling to give up.

“Tell

the number, I’ll help you call,” the nurse was very eager to help.

Beiming Qianqian gave her daughter’s number, and the nurse helped to connect the call, handing the phone to her.

She placed the receiver to her ear, and after two rings, it was answered, “Hello, who is it?”

The voice from inside was Lan Yunxin’s impatient tone.

“Yunxin, it’s Mommy. Where are you now? Why aren’t you at the hospital with Mommy?” Beiming Qianqian still couldn’t believe her daughter would abandon her and leave.

“Mommy, it’s not that I don’t want to be with you, but now that Dad is going to divorce you, if I follow you, I’d have nothing to eat… I went back to the Lan Family. I’m still Miss Lan!” Lan Yunxin said.

“Yunxin… Mommy loves you so much, how could you leave without even a word?” Beiming Qianqian was utterly heartbroken.

“If you love , you should know that following you would only an hardship in the future. Returning to the Lan Family is the best choice,” Lan Yunxin said, a bit impatiently.

“I understand, I wouldn’t stop you from returning to the Lan Family, but you could have at least waited until I woke up before you left, right? How could you… leave , unconscious, alone in the hospital?” Beiming Qianqian started to cry.

“What’s the difference between leaving when you’re awake or unconscious? Mommy, don’t be upset. I’m going ho for your sake. You have nothing now; if I go back, I can ask Grandma for so money. I’ll send you money for your treatnt. I’m getting on a plane now, I can’t talk anymore!”
