Although she tried her best to hide her emotions, having been raised by Lin Yin, Lin Yin could still see that sothing was troubling her.

Under Lin Yin’s persistent questioning, Gu Qingxin told her about Xiao Yi’s situation.

Lin Yin was also shocked, not expecting that such a cute child had contracted such a disease.

After staying at ho for a while, Lin Yin chased her daughter away, telling her not to worry about her and to go back and take good care of Xiao Yi.

After her daughter left, Lin Yin was restless. Eventually, she couldn’t overco the worry in her heart for Xiao Yi, so she changed her clothes, grabbed her bag, and went to Bai’s Hospital to do a bone marrow match.

Whether it would work or not, it was her way of showing her heart. If she did nothing, she felt it would be too unsettling.

Beiming Lingyun also ca to the hospital for a check-up today, so he saw Lin Yin from inside the car. He felt a surge of excitent and wanted to get out of the car, but feared alarming Lin Yin and having her run away like last ti.

This ti, he did not act rashly. He gave Lieyan a couple of instructions, pointing at Lin Yin outside.

Lieyan nodded and got out of the car first.

As Lin Yin was about to hail a cab ho, several n in black surrounded her. Her expression changed, and she imdiately intended to leave.

Lieyan blocked her way and said, "Aunt Lin, our master wishes to see you."

"I don’t know what you’re talking about, nor do I know any master." Lin Yin’s face showed so displeasure, and she tried to leave by bypassing him.

"Xiao Ying! Should I say you have forgotten those who helped you, or are you just too heartless?" Beiming Lingyun’s voice ca through.

Lin Yin’s body stiffened; her hand gripped the strap of her bag tightly, squeezing it out of shape.

"You’ve got the wrong person, sir. I’m not Xiao Yin!" Lin Yin’s eyes were filled with panic.

"If you’re not... why don’t you dare to turn around and look at ?" Beiming Lingyun, leaning on a cane, couldn’t help but let out a couple of light coughs.

"There’s nothing to see. I really don’t know you all. I should be going ho now." Lin Yin frowned even more.

"I don’t an anything else, you don’t have to be nervous. It’s just that we haven’t seen each other for so many years, and I just wanted to catch up a bit," Beiming Lingyun said.

"I told you..."

"Lieyan." Beiming Lingyun softly called to Lieyan.

Lieyan imdiately understood, "Aunt Lin, please, we won’t harm you. Our old master just wants to have a chat with you."

Lin Yin bit her lip, turned around, and t his gaze. Beiming Lingyun looked at the woman in front of him and said, "You haven’t changed much."

"Master... you’ve aged."

...

Inside a private room in a tea room.

The fragrance of tea wafted gently, filling one’s mind with peace and ease.

Beiming Lingyun and Lin Yin sat opposite each other. On the way there, Lin Yin had already adjusted her deanor, with no hint of unease left on her face.

She had thought a lot just now. In fact, she didn’t need to be anxious. If she were, it would only reveal her guilty conscience.

As long as she acted normally, she was of an age to be a mother. As long as she didn’t arouse the master’s suspicion, Qingxin’s background wouldn’t be exposed.

She just needed to maintain that Qingxin was her own daughter.

"After all these years, Xiao Qian still won’t forgive . Have you not contacted her either?" Beiming Lingyun asked her.

"Miss has always been stubborn. After leaving, she hasn’t been in any contact with ," Lin Yin replied.

Beiming Lingyun also had another daughter, Beiming Qianqian.
