The scars revealed that Bai Ruiqing truly didn’t want to live at that ti; the wounds were deep and severe.
“Senior Ruiqing, can you stop ssing around? Let’s go back to the hospital,” Bai Qianqian held out and tightly grasped his arm, tears streaming down her face.
Bai Ruiqing suddenly grabbed her, bent over to kiss her. Bai Qianqian awkwardly dodged, his lips landing on her cheek. Unwilling to give up, he sought her lips; Bai Qianqian lowered her head, not daring to struggle too forcefully out of fear of hurting his injured wrist.
Just as Bai Ruiqing was about to kiss the corner of her mouth, Gu Qingxin rushed over and called out anxiously, “Qianqian, Senior Ruiqing!
Gu Qingxin’s arrival finally relieved Bai Qianqian. She quickly pushed him away; because soone was there, and that soone was Gu Qingxin, Bai Ruiqing didn’t force her any longer.
Bai Qianqian wiped away her tears and said, “Let’s go to the hospital and get you bandaged up.”
“Senior Ruiqing, how can you not care about yourself? Your aunt would be heartbroken. Let
take you to the hospital.” Gu Qingxin also tried to persuade him.
“No need!” Bai Ruiqing coldly said and turned to leave.
Bai Qianqian looked worriedly at his receding figure. Gu Qingxin promptly took out his phone and called Huangfu Ye.
“Don’t worry, it’s okay. I’ve asked Huangfu Ye to co and pick him up.”
Currently, Huangfu Ye is the most appropriate person to find Bai Ruiqing.
“Are you alright?”
Bai Qianqian shook her head and said, “I want to go ho.”
“I’ll walk you ho.” Gu Qingxin held her arm and walked out of the school with her. He took Bai Qianqian ho first.
Bai Qianqian was awakened by a nightmare. She dreamt of Bai Ruiqing slicing his own wrist open in front of her, blood flowing everywhere.
Bai Qianqian suddenly missed Bai Jingqing terribly. Even though she knew that they couldn’t be together anymore, she still yearned for him. She got out of bed, ran to the window and opened the curtains.
The first thing she saw was a man sat on the window ledge outside.
Bai Jingqing didn’t seem to have expected that Bai Qianqian would open the curtains suddenly. He sat there, sowhat at a loss.
Bai Qianqian was also taken aback; she imdiately opened the window, and Bai Jingqing jumped in.
After closing the window and the curtains, Bai Qianqian turned around to face him.
Bai Jingqing was also looking at her; he couldn’t help but stare greedily at her. Even though they hadn’t formally t in a week, he was always there watching her, lingering around her.
At the school gate, at her ho gate, and even at night, he would sit inside with her.
Bai Qianqian moved forward and firmly hugged him; Bai Jingqing also hugged her tightly in response. As if unablly bear letting go, they held each other so tightly that they could hardly breathe.
“Nightmare?” Bai Jingqing asked in her ear.
Bai Qianqian imdiately nodded her head; she said, “You need to leave soon. We can’t let Senior Ruiqing find out; he’ll lose it.”
“I’m sorry, Qianqian, bear with it. I’ll definitely figure out how to let us be together openly.” Bai Jingqing’s voice was full of determination.
“Impossible, we can’t put Senior Ruiqing’s life at risk! Go!” Bai Qianqian’s rejection was firm this ti. She had already promised Senior Ruiqing that she would not date Bai Jingqing anymore.
Suddenly, Bai Jingqing grabbed Bai Qianqian’s hand and placed a ring on her finger.
“No!” Bai Qianqian jerked her hand back sharply, causing the ring that had just wrapped her finger to fall onto the floor and roll away under the bed, out of sight.
Both of them were watching the ring. Bai Qianqian’s heart tightened when it disappeared.
