Chapter 1161: Chapter 1166 Determining One’s True Heart 2

“What’s wrong, General?” Gu Qingxin looks worriedly at the General.

The General bites onto Beiming Han’s clothes and starts dragging him away. The General is normally very afraid of Beiming Han and would never dare to bite his clothes, though he would dare to bite Gu Qingxin’s.

Since he is uncharacteristically bold today, there must be sothing wrong.

“Could it be that Xiao Bai is about to give birth?” Gu Qingxin calculates – she couldn’t think of any other urgent situation that could alarm the General.

No sooner had Gu Qingxin finished speaking than the General imdiately widened his eyes at her, as if to confirm her guess: Yes, Xiao Bai is indeed about to give birth to puppies.

“Let’s go check on her quickly.” Gu Qingxin, excited, clings tightly to Beiming Han.

“Aunt Zhou, find a vet to co over.” Beiming Han gives an order.

Aunt Zhou goes to carry out the tasks imdiately.

“Let

down quickly.” Gu Qingxin struggles to get down from his arms.

“I’ll carry you there.” Beiming Han holds her tight and refuses to let go. Seeing how much Bai Jingqing is suffering; he suddenly feels fortunate that he doesn’t have to share his beloved with a blood brother.

To him, Tang Rongling is naturally not considered a close brother.

Beiming Han carries Gu Qingxin and the General to the wolf pen. Xiao Bai is lying there, appearing to be in great pain.

Gu Qingxin gets down from Beiming Han’s arms and squats down beside Xiao Bai. She gently pets Xiao Bai’s head, “Don’t worry, Xiao Bai. Hang in there a bit longer. The vet will be here any mont now to deliver your puppies.”

Xiao Bai gently licks her hand, then lies down again. She looked exhausted, her eyes filled with helplessness, which makes Gu Qingxin’s heart ache.

The General nervously paces back and forth, from ti to ti running to the entrance to see if the vet has arrived. He appears restless and agitated.

Xiao Bai suddenly starts thrashing around. She seems to be trying to push, but she lacks strength, her body shaking all over.

Looking at Xiao Bai’s condition, Beiming Han says, “She can’t wait for the vet. She’s about to give birth.”

“What do we do, we don’t know how to deliver puppies,” Gu Qingxin looks at him anxiously.

“She’s not a human needing a midwife, she can do it herself. Grab

a pair of disposable gloves.” Beiming Han softly caresses Xiao Bai’s belly, gently massaging it downwards.

“Ok, got it.” Gu Qingxin quickly finds a pair of disposable gloves. They both put on the gloves. Beiming Han instructs, “You try gently pushing downwards, rember to be gentle, follow her rhythm, it helps her deliver.”

Beiming Han keeps massaging Xiao Bai’s belly, but after more than ten minutes, Xiao Bai is still unable to give birth. She looks pained and exhaust, her amniotic fluid had already broken and made a ss on the floor.

“Ah Han, what should we do?” Gu Qingxin starts to panic.

The General is also very anxious.

“She’s having a difficult labor! Go check why the vet isn’t here yet,” Beiming Han tells the General.

“How could this happen?” Gu Qingxin also starts to worry. Seeing Xiao Bai getting weaker and weaker, her heart is filled with anxiety.

“She’s still too young, not old enough to give birth. It’s too late to say this now.”

Right now, the only hope is for the vet to arrive soon, to save Xiao Bai and her unborn puppies.

Fortunately, the General managed to lead the vet over. After examining Xiao Bai’s condition, the vet imdiately gives her an injection to induce labor.

The vet explains, “we must make her deliver the puppies imdiately, otherwise, they will all die inside her belly.”

“How can we make her deliver?” Gu Qingxin asks with a furrow in her brows.

“If the injection doesn’t work, we’ll need to do surgery. This dog’s birth canal is too narrow. I’ll try to help her out.” The vet, too, puts on dical gloves and slowly tries to help Xiao Bai widen her birth canal.
