Lawrence Winters and Kenneth Osborne walked in, cleared their throats, and said, "Mom, we’re back."
Gabrielle Winters turned to look at them and said coolly, "Put down the food containers. I’m just hungry, and your master hasn’t woken up yet. We don’t know when he will wake up."
Lawrence Winters knew Gabrielle Winters was purposely saying this for Caron Spencer to hear.
Caron Spencer frowned deeply and said, "...He had surgery. Didn’t the doctor say when he would wake up?"
"I’ve said it many tis. The doctor said whether he can wake up depends on Nick’s own will. If he lacks the willpower himself, he might never wake up." Gabrielle Winters spoke unhurriedly.
Kenneth Osborne knew Nick Zeller was actually already awake. Gabrielle Winters said this now, and Nick cooperated by lying still with his eyes closed, likely not wanting to let Caron Spencer exploit the situation any further.

Hearing this, Lawrence Winters suddenly lost her appetite.
