Lawrence Winters received a call from Kenneth Osborne in their company office, learning that Brooke Osborne’s divorce from Gregory Quinn was finalized.
She lightly tapped the contract signed by Brooke, smiling as she said, "Uncle, can we sue now?"
Nick Zeller, wearing the latest Apple AirPods, was nodding his head to the beat of the music. When he heard what Lawrence said, he waved his hand, "It was your setup, you’re in charge, you go find our lawyer."
Their small company had its own regular lawyer.
Lawrence quickly called the lawyer.
The lawyer, after hearing the entire story, imdiately said, "Fax the contract, I’ll go to the court right away to sue Brooke Osborne and Gregory Quinn for repaynt."
River City is a small place, and local lawyers all have their own networks.
The Great Heavenly Master had a well-known reputation and paid the lawyers well, so there were more people willing to help him.
Thus, on the twelfth of the first month, the court, which had just resud work shortly ago, issued summonses to Brooke Osborne and Gregory Quinn.
