At this mont, Ryan Sheldon was truly pushed to the brink by manners he had never encountered, nearly collapsing as he broke free from the police officer holding him, angrily shouting, "You’re slandering ! You’re slandering ! I didn’t want your life! I didn’t want your life!"
Lawrence Winters had a sheepish look on his face, hiding beside the policewoman and simply pointing towards Ryan Sheldon, "Look, look... this person is crazy... Going crazy while driving is such a danger to us all!"
The policewoman then beca serious and said, "I’ll have soone perform a ntal evaluation on him. If he’s ntally unstable, his international driver’s license will be revoked."
Lawrence Winters nodded eagerly, quickly agreeing, "The officer is right! Letting a lunatic drive on the road is irresponsible to all us law-abiding citizens!"
Ryan Sheldon suddenly sobered up, a cold sweat breaking out on his back.

Revoking his international driver’s license?!
He—the second son of the Sheldon Family Head, an internationally renowned Formula racer?!
If this got out abroad, how would he survive in the racing world?!
Ryan Sheldon’s pupils contracted sharply as he slowly sat back down, trying his best to suppress the anxiety in his heart, and said, "I’m sorry, I was just anxious earlier. There’s nothing wrong with my ntal state."

Just as everyone was at a standstill, Lucas Harlow arrived with Ruby Sheldon, followed by a line of lawyers behind them.
Initially, Lucas Harlow thought he could handle it on his own.
But upon learning that both sides were taken back to the police station, Lucas realized there might be trouble, so he had Aiden Sheldon bring in so lawyers on the way over.
When Lawrence Winters saw Lucas Harlow enter, he was slightly surprised that Lucas knew about this, but then he saw he had brought along a petite, cute girl and headed over to Ryan Sheldon.
The girl was speaking sweetly, "Second brother, are you okay? You’ve just gotten into trouble as soon as you ca back ho and needed to trouble little uncle; you’re really not being well-behaved!"
Lucas Harlow also chid in, "Ryan, didn’t you just get off the plane? How did you run into Lawrence?"
Seeing so many people coming to his side, Ryan Sheldon imdiately braced himself and said, "I just got off the plane and saw..."
At that mont, a lawyer who ca with Lucas Harlow interjected, "We’re here to resolve this issue. Please, Mr. Sheldon, do not speak."
Ryan was also used to having lawyers handle everything, so upon hearing this, he quickly shut his mouth.
Once the lawyer intervened, the situation in the police station imdiately took a turn.
They first checked all the details of the report with the police station, including local surveillance and everything that happened within half an hour before and after the incident.
Seeing so many lawyers, with so being nationally known lawyers they’ve seen in magazines and on TV, the police officers exchanged glances.
It seems Ryan Sheldon does have so clout.
The officers, following legal procedures, released the recording of Lawrence Winters’ report call, as well as the highway surveillance footage.
Previously, they had only reviewed the surveillance for five minutes before and after, but now, per the lawyers’ request, they pulled the footage for half an hour before and after.
They naturally also saw Lawrence Winters’ various risky maneuvers while driving before the incident.
The officers’ gazes, with so admiration, involuntarily drifted towards her.
It’s hard to imagine a young woman, so ethereal and otherworldly, driving as fiercely as she did, rivaling so professional race car drivers!
And the lawyers, as if discovering a new world, kept exclaiming, "Look at the person who reported the incident! Did she speed? Did she speed?"
"She was driving so fast! Our client was trying to stop her from speeding!"
Initially anxious, Lawrence Winters was imdiately relieved upon hearing the other side question her about speeding.
She silently lowered her head and began her performance.
Standing straight with a graceful swan neck slightly bowed, she used the back of her hand to wipe away tears, standing alone as if facing an attack from the whole world while striving to maintain her deanor.
In contrast, Ryan Sheldon, a man surrounded by a group of black-suited lawyers and the security personnel sent by Aiden Sheldon, looked like a bully exploiting his numbers to oppress the weak.
Even Ruby Sheldon was stunned by the stark contrast of one versus the whole world.
Unconsciously, she sympathized with Lawrence Winters, "Second brother, what did you do to that girl anyway? Abroad, it’s a ss, and now back ho, it’s still a ss. Even as your sister, I can’t side with you."
Ryan Sheldon was so angry at Ruby he almost spat blood. He glared at her viciously, mouthing the words, "...Shut up!"
Lucas Harlow frowned slightly, discontentedly saying, "Ryan, I’m going over there."
He left Ryan Sheldon’s side and started walking towards Lawrence Winters.
Ruby subconsciously followed him without thinking.
Lawrence Winters lowered his head halfway, staring at the ground a foot away from his feet.
Just then, a pair of discreet shoes entered his line of sight, along with straight smoke-gray woolen trousers, hinting at the long, straight legs.
Lawrence Winters slowly lifted his head, gradually moving his gaze to the person’s face.
It was Lucas Harlow.
Lawrence Winters curled his lips slightly, "Mr. Lucas, are you here to see a friend or to see family?"
He heard the young girl on the other side call him "Uncle" and the driver "Second Brother."
Clearly, they were family.
Although he was Lucas Harlow’s manager, compared to family, what is a manager?

Lucas Harlow didn’t expect Lawrence Winters to address him so formally, a hint of sadness flickering in his eyes.
His lips moved slightly before he finally blurted out, "My real na is Evan Stetford, you can call Achie like before, or call Evan. That’s what my friends and family call ."
