Joyce snorted, not thinking much of it.
He’s the Chief Technology Officer, a world-renowned expert in AI. He can work whenever he wants.

Joyce sighed internally. Although he attended Yan University and his annual salary is nearly a million, he’s still a loser from inside out.
While berating himself, Joyce checked his computer.
Then he noticed soone seed to have tampered with his computer.

His surveillance clearly showed no one ca in. Who could have touched his computer?

Joyce believes in science, and modern science hasn’t reached the stage of creating invisibility.
He checked his computer again and found signs of tampering, but it wasn’t necessarily soone coming into his office; rather, his computer might have been remotely monitored...
Joyce imdiately used software to investigate his computer.
Since his computer was simultaneously running other programs, the investigation was slow.
But he wasn’t too concerned, as long as he waited.
Ever since he felt like leaving this company, he didn’t have the urgency to complete work imdiately.
Before long, Joseph Saunders and Mary Palr arrived.
Their offices, one at the front desk, and the other next to Joyce’s office.
Joyce went to the pantry to grab so snacks and happened to et Joseph Saunders and Mary Palr.
As soon as Mary Palr saw Joyce, she nervously asked, "Director Joyce, did I cause trouble for you?"
Joyce looked at her in surprise, "No, why do you say that?"
Mary Palr imdiately gasped in shock, "Didn’t your fiancée tell you about calling you on Saturday?"
Joyce laughed, "Oh, that? She ntioned it. I didn’t work on weekends and had no issues, so after she told , I just forgot about it."
Mary Palr was even more surprised and felt wronged: "Really? She really said that? Didn’t she say she scolded ?"
Joyce: "..."
"She scolded you for no reason? What did you do to anger her? My fiancée has a great temper; she would never scold you for no reason."
Mary Palr was so angry she nearly exploded: What the heck, asking like it’s her fault?! Clearly, it was the other party who provoked first! Saying "the one who starts is cheap"! How was she cheap?
She bit her lip and said, "Director Joyce, I only asked if you were coming to work overti on the weekend; I didn’t an anything else. But your fiancée..."
Mary Palr said this and pulled out her phone, showing her conversation with Lawrence Winters: "Listen! Are these malicious words really my fault?"
Joyce heard the smooth yet delicate female voice and suddenly laughed, "You got it wrong. That’s not my fiancée’s voice. I said she wasn’t such a person and wouldn’t scold you for no reason."
Mary Palr hadn’t had ti to ask who was so malicious when Joyce said again, "Moreover, you speak ambiguously, misleading others; no wonder soone would scold you. You ca to work overti because your work wasn’t finished. How can you say you’re accompanying ? Also, those days’ breakfasts and dinners were reimbursed by the company. Why do you make it sound like you’re my nanny? I won’t accept that."
Then he took his snacks and went back to his office.
Mary Palr nearly fainted from anger.
What kind of nanny!
Does he genuinely not know, or is he pretending?
It was the first ti Joseph Saunders saw Mary Palr so angry, her face turning purple and her features twisted, looking a bit scary.

After she left, Joseph Saunders stayed because Joyce was still working.
The search program Joyce ran all day only uncovered a tiny clue.
Through reverse tracking, he locked onto the computer that remotely logged into his. It was surprisingly in the computer lab opposite his office!
He imdiately recalled Thomas entering that computer lab on Sunday...
If there’s no connection here, he can cut off his head and kick it around.
Joyce’s expression turned sowhat grim.
Although the company’s computers are company property, Thomas definitely has the authority to check his computer. But why would he secretly use a computer from the lab across to remotely monitor his?
