Upon checking the computer, the program had finally completed.
She looked at the result computed by the computer: Three years, five months, eleven days, eight hours, thirty-three minutes, and twenty-one seconds.
This ans that if she were to complete the "data analysis" Thomas required, given the existing software and hardware conditions, it would take over three years.
Joyce laughed bitterly and shook her head, even though she had optimized the algorithm with Kenneth Osborne’s help.
She printed out the result and went to talk to Thomas.
Thomas had just finished his coffee and, seeing her co in, said happily, "...No way? You’ve finished it all?!"
