Chapter 134: 134:Sharing a Treasure

Groggily getting out of bed, Raymond found himself shocked when he realized Ellen was still asleep.

Normally, it was always she who woke up first, and then proceeded to wake him up for class. Which he usually ignored and went back to sleep.

But this was the first ti it was his turn.

Checking the ti, he grinned. Noticing it was a few minutes before Ellen woke up normally.

"Ellen, cmon wake up. It’s ti for class."

Heheh, how the tables had turned now eh?

Being woken up early was always annoying, and a pain in the neck. So Raymond had always bottled up his frustrations, but now was his ti!

He shook her slightly, ignoring her half-opened eyes glaring at him.

"Ti for class~"

"Raymond...you...di-

Her current groggy form made it hard for Raymond to understand her words. So he just ignored it.

"Wakey wakey!"

"Mhmgm...I’m not going today."

Hehe, she didn’t want to go. But once again, Raymond didn’t care at all!

"Rise and shine Ellen, it’s ti for class."

He flicked her on the forehead, the sting imdiately waking her up fully from the adrenaline.

She looked as if she had just been drowning under water, gasping heavily for air. Before imdiately glaring at him with so much malice that her previous flares looked friendly in comparison.

Before she could do anything however, Raymond and Ellen both felt a small tug on their bodies. The air pulling them down until they were lying back down again.

"Erin?"

zzz...

Hmm...

Well, maybe next ti he supposed. Unaware that Ellen herself also had the sa thought.

***

"Holy crap. Raymond, this is amazing."

He grinned. That was the dozenth ti soone had complinted his boba this day and it still hadn’t gotten old.

After giving so away to everyone in the special class. Raymond proceeded to make another batch entirely for everyone in the coffee club to try.

Since it was the coffee club however, Raymond switched out the milk tea for coffee instead. Because giving tea to a coffee club just sounded wrong in his head.

But the results were as expected, everyone in the club loved it. With a technical exception of Clara.

Despite her calling it a disgrace to coffee however, Raymond could still see her secretly sneaking sios from ti to ti when she thought no one was looking.

Taking a sip, Lily imdiately said. "We should start selling this, maybe the cafe might actually turn a profit!"

"Is the cafe always in the red?"

"Since opening, it hasn’t once turned a profit."

He had heard jokes before about the cafe not making money, but he always assud it wasn’t real.

But this was a serious problem.

How could it have been open for several years and never even turn a profit?

Was Lily’s family really that rich to be able to afford this solely so their daughters could skip class whenever they wanted?!

"You’re right. Maybe we can stop being in the red for a while. Or do you want to keep the recipe a secret or sothing?"

He shook his head, "Do whatever you want. But the recipe actually calls for tea instead of coffee by the way."

"Ah that’s fine. If you think about it, there’s not really a difference between coffee and tea is there?"

If Lin Qingyi heard that, she might have pulled out her swords already.

Luckily she wasn’t. So Liam’s cris against tea would go unpunished.

"But seriously, this is good stuff. Where did you even get the idea?"

"Just thought of it while bored."

"You have so talent for the kitchen, would you ever quit magic to cook full ti?"

"What?"

The absurdity of his question nearly made him question his own hearing.

Besides, Raymond wasn’t actually good at cooking. He was just stealing an idea from Earth that hadn’t yet been invented here yet. But it likely would have been created by others anyways.

That was why Raymond didn’t mind sharing the recipe. It wasn’t his own invention anyways.

Plus, if he could help out the coffee club while at it. Why not?

"Alright! Lets start selling this uhh—what did you call it again?"

"Boba milk tea."

Liam patted his back, taking a massive sip before continuing. "Boba! But we should probably make a few more variations. I’m thinking so sort of caral coffee version with burnt caralized sugar on top."

Lily raised a hand, "What about a floral thed drink? If we use lavender tea I think it’ll get a really nice purple colour."

Of course Lily imdiately thought of a flower flavour. But Raymond didn’t point that out.

He did wonder however, if Willow was here. Would she have suggested a wood flavor?

"What’s got you so happy?"

Ellen didn’t reply, only smiling even harder as she clenched the two rectangular slips in her hand.

"Dad finally agreed and got

those tickets! They’re VVIP tickets for the ultimate seating and comfort as well! It even includes et-and-greets with the band backstage after the concert!"

Raymond understood why Ellen was so happy now. This was the bands last tour after all, they had planned another one until the third Human-Demon war started—and it wasn’t exactly the best ti for a tour.

Ellen had missed it in the last tiline, but now she was finally able to experience it. So she was elated to say the least.

’Should soone her age be this excited over a boy band..?’

Whatever, at least she wasn’t mad at him anymore for spending their money in Mirovia City. Seems like Rayez managed to keep his promise.

"Grandpa?"

"Yes grandpa."

Now that he thought about it, Erin was unaware of Ellen’s parents, and they were unaware of Erin.

The grandparents didn’t even know they were a grandparent, Raymond made a ntal note to record Rayez and Clara’s reaction to Erin.

It was definitely going to be a fun reaction. Although he hadn’t seen either of them in person ever since entering the academy. He had kept in contact via the occasional texts or calls. Even making sure to send so gifts from Mirovia City when they were there.

Weren’t they always complaining about Ellen not having a boyfriend and not having kids? Even in the previous tiline all the way to the end, when Ellen refused to even date anyone. Rayez had probably shed hair over the thought of the Grace Family ending with Ellen. Now he could rest worry free.

Now she had a daughter already! Even if they weren’t blood related at all by a single drop. If Erin called her mom and Ellen called her her daughter, was there really a difference?

Erin turned to him,"What about dad’s mom and dad?"

"...they’re not...present."

Ellen quickly scooped her up before she could ask anything else about Raymond’s parents. Sothing he felt imnsely grateful to her for. Explaining his family situation to her was a can of worms he didn’t want to open.

"Are you excited to see grandpa and grandma?"

"Yeah!!"

She threw her hands up in the air, her wings flapping slightly in excitent. Along with her tail swishing back and forth in the air. The sight of it was enough to lt even Ellen’s heart.

’So cute..!’

"Then let’s visit them when we go to the concert! We have two tickets anyways."

"Two?"

"Yep!

and dad are going together so you have to promise

not to trouble grandma and grandpa okay?"

"I can’t go with you two?"

Ellen shook her head. "We only have two, and no sneaking out. Do you understand?"

Even if she understood, she definitely wasn’t going to listen!

Both Raymond and Ellen could imdiately tell that Erin had no intentions of listening. Whether she would try to sneak out and join them. That issue would have to be solved when the ti ca.

He suddenly tilted his head slightly, wait a second. The topic of the conversation, seed to be about him as well? And it seed a bit strange.

I’m standing right here. Shouldn’t you at least ask for my permission before deciding this?

"I’m also going to the concert?" He asked.

"Yes, dad got us two tickets for a reason didn’t he?"

What?

"No, why am I also going?"

"Where I go, my Shadow has to follow obviously. The concert is in New Rayan so obviously you have to follow ."

"So now you want to use the Shadow excuse. You’re just cherry picking to use it whenever you want."

She stared at him with a complicated look on her face, repeating his words inside her own head in a cycle.

...don’t you also do the sa thing?

"Can’t you just follow

once? It’ll be fun I promise. You won’t regret it."

He narrowed his eyes, already thinking of ways to escape. Sothing she noticed within seconds.

"Raymond..."

"Yes?"

"Your face has the sa expression as Erin."

"I don’t know what you’re talking about?"
