‘Well, this wasn’t much, but it definitely does work…’
Edrick buttoned his shirt up as he stepped out of his bedchambers, leaving a very tired Linmin to recover from the intense session Anoteros had decided would happen not long following his return from Patriarch Guild–He had tested Virility Plundering Technique on his second wife, and it definitely worked as intended.
…But of course, the haul from bedding a Foppoof who had fully accepted his place for a very long ti wasn’t great. There wasn’t much virility to be taken from Linmin. Nonetheless, it assured Edrick that he would be able to harvest virility without issue in the future–He himself did not strictly require access to Plunder-Ripe Pills.
Unlike Patriarch Guild, which ironically forbade Salinist activities for people within the sect despite them essentially doing that all the ti, the scion had no problem bedding twinks and Foppoofs.
Speaking of the special pills… Edrick had not ntioned the Everlasting Elixir Of Inversions to Algeo. Their existence was a product of the system basically reaching out into what was essentially another world. He doubted they could actually be replicated, especially since they were apparently manufactured by a very specific individual.
To replicate the miraculous effect, people here needed to jump through many more hoops and spend a lot of resources as well as money to make it happen, and even then, it wasn’t always guaranteed to have a result anywhere as good as what just a single Everlasting Elixir Of Inversion could perform in a matter of seconds without any chances of failure.
On top of this, an Everlasting Elixir Of Inversion would preserve all the perks the drinker had. The person who was changed by it would basically do nothing but gain, preserving what their forr body offered, while obtaining the boons of a body belonging to the opposite sex–In a sense, the Everlasting Elixir Of Inversion was a purely beneficial substance. The only downside was that it was in the hands of Edrick. So those who drank it wouldn’t be doing so knowing any of that.
Though it was still a great event, who wouldn’t want to beco a mber of Anoteros’ residence, after all?
In any case, it reminded him that he had a greater source of virility right inside his residence in the form of Yifei, Lisha, Shu, and Xiaolie–Perhaps also Chengjie, in the future. There was also Crimonia, who was definitely a gold mine of virility, but she stayed in Eltysia, at least for now.
All of these consurs of the elixirs retained their forr virility despite their newfound femininity, so Edrick could just play with them to cultivate his new dual cultivation technique.
‘It is a bit of a sha that I don’t have any twink in my residence…’
He wasn’t yet willing to bring out Underwood Elves outside of the realm properly. He had tested to see if they would be fine, and they could survive just fine outside of Eltysia, but he couldn’t yet hire any as maids inside of his residence, as it would be too noticeable and would be an instant giveaway that he had permanent access to this secret realm. It would be quite obvious from the mont he launched his first shop in Oie, but he would nonetheless have room for deniability, as the products he would sell wouldn’t be exclusive to Eltysia.
His focus wasn’t on this at the mont, however. He sat behind his gorgeous desk–Which had a suspicious amount of empty space underneath–And began reading so of the reports and letters neatly stacked on top of it. One letter in particular was an odd one, for it bore a wax seal imprinted with the symbol of the Elt clan.
Being inside the clan at this very mont, it was wholly unnecessary to tell him anything via a letter. If soone wanted to tell him sothing confidential, they would normally just swing by his residence and discuss it over a nice cup of tea.
He transford Arm Of Depravity in a letter opened and brought the content hidden inside.
CONFIDENTIAL CONTENT. DO NOT SHARE WITH ANYONE ELSE, NOT EVEN FELLOW CLAN MBERS, WIVES, OR HUSBANDS, UNTIL TOLD OTHERWISE.
‘This certainly sets the tone’
If you have received this letter, it ans that you were deed a trustworthy individual by either the crown directly or the leaders of your clan.
Considering that Anoteros had never interacted with anyone from the royal family, it was probably his Vals who had approved for him to know about this.
In recent tis, two of Leynlornd’s direct neighbours have been secretly developing their armies, reinforcing their defences, and slowly reducing trade with us, as well as rerouting their comrcial routes to completely avoid going through Leynlornd.
The intent is more than clear. They either desire a war of conquest and pillaging, or seek to strong-arm Leynlornd into entering unfavourable deals.
In preparation for turbulent tis, the crown asks for the assistance of the great clans, not simply to be there when things turn for the worse, but to assist in potentially preventing any large-scale confrontations.
Our enemies are two human nations:
Heldeorlt, situated to the west of Leynlornd, a country fad for its knights and heavy enchanted weaponry.
Journomanp, situated to the east of Leynlornd, a country far more similar to ours, being a ho of cultivation–Albeit a much different strain of it.
I, Hugh Leyn II, hope for the great clans to keep a close eye on our enemies and to spy upon them as I work to assemble my vast armies in the appropriate locations. If push cos to shove and a war occurs, it shall go as tradition–Those who distinguish themselves on the battlefield or in other significant fields shall be handsoly rewarded.
‘...Oh my… A war? With two countries? And here I thought I had a fairly good grasp of the geopolitical landscape of Leynlornd and its neighbours…’
Anoteros was quite surprised by this letter. Leynlornd was an economic beacon that was to be thanked for the success of all of its neighbours. Through trade and lucrative business deals, Leynlornd had cented itself as a great source of resources and food.
Countries not in on the deals did their best to get in, even if what they were offered was far inferior. Business with Leynlornd was considered the greatest of businesses when it ca to nations dealing with one another, so the fact that neighbouring countries–Direct neighbours at that–Would seek to launch an assault or otherwise put military pressure on Leynlornd ca as a surprise.
It had seed like Leynlornd wasn’t just a powerful country in the strictest of senses, but that it was untouchable because it was a pillar that supported the wellness of many other nations, including great ones.
Not to ntion that Leynlornd was difficult to attack in the first place, the borders were natural ones in the form of imnse mountains, as well as gigantic lakes and rivers.
For Edrick, this was a nonsensical action, but he supposed that he only knew as much as anyone random person could learn. There were certainly other factors at play here. Perhaps the deals weren’t as lucrative as they had once been in the past, or perhaps Heldeorlt and Journomanp had good reasons to believe that they could pull this off…
‘Mmh… Hopefully, this war doesn’t break out too soon. It would throw many of my plans into disarray’
‘...Maybe I should speed things up’
