"Practically, you're immortal." Flain muttered.
Itai blinked a few tis. "Are you kidding ?" he asked.
"Have I ever joked around?" Flain asked back.
"Well, that's debatable." Itai replied.
"Now listen carefully. When you die, I die too. But when I die, I don't know if you die as well or what exactly happens — that's irrelevant for now. I've died 13 tis already, this is my 14th attempt. Every ti I died, I appeared at the mont you summoned — in that grave. I always keep the power I gained from absorbing souls in the previous attempts." Flain explained.
"But now, I've obtained a new ability. When I die and respawn in that grave, you will regain all your mories from the previous attempt and your body will return to the sa level it was in that run — including mana and everything else." Flain added.
"Honestly, I don't even know how to respond to that or what to think." Itai muttered while staring at the ground.
"And what will happen to if you die, my king?" Aran asked.
"Since you're obedient, I'll tell you." Flain said.
"When I die, you will recall into my soul and you'll reappear in the past when Itai first summoned . The mont Itai summons again, you will disappear from that run." Flain explained.
Aran's gray eyes locked onto Flain's. "I will gladly serve my king for all eternity." he said.
"Alright, now I want to hear if you agree with this, Itai. We'll stay here, and you'll keep learning and training necromancy. Once you're good enough, you'll summon the Black Lizard King." Flain said.
"I really don't feel like staying here too long." Itai grumbled.
"Look, he was really strong, and I really don't feel like dragging his 3-ter-tall body around with . And wasting him would be a sha. The strongest necromancer needs the strongest subordinates." Flain said.
"Alright then." Itai replied after thinking for a mont.
Flain smirked — it was ti for so leveling up.

After that, Flain hunted down the remaining groups of Black Lizards and killed them, earning 27000 EXP and 4 evolution dusk.

Days passed, and Flain and Aran practically lived in the dungeon, killing monsters non-stop. They stayed together and fought side by side, with Flain always delivering the killing blow. Flain insisted on doing so because if they split up, he would lose out on the EXP from the monsters Aran killed.
And so monsters took quite a while to respawn. On average, Flain earned around 8500 EXP and 3 evolution dusk per day. They were gaining so little because of the relatively long respawn tis, aning theyuldn't keep killing endlessly.
Itai moved to the valley, where he set up a makeshift base. There, he focused on summoning skeletons. His goal was to be able to summon a Black Lizard Commander on the first attempt, which was extrely difficult, but necessary if he wanted to summon Zehren.
In the end, it took exactly 10 days before he managed to summon a Black Commander on the first try. His limit on the number of skeletons heuld have summoned at once increased to 45.
He also learned a new spell on his own—heuld now release necrotic mana from his body, and when it touched arpse suitable for transformation into a skeleton, it would automatically raise it. This ant Itai no longer had to summon each skeleton individually.
During that ti, Flain accumulated 270,300 EXP and 5 evolution shards. He was saving his EXP for a major level-up, which he planned to do before Itai attempted to summon the Black Svetloid. Additionally, Lord of Souls advanced to level 2, granting Flain another slot.
Flain dragged the skeletalrpse of the Black Lizard into the base, which was now surrounded by a massive army of skeletal Black Commanders, Green Commanders, and Black Lizards.
"It's ti for the big mont." Itai said with a smile as he looked at the Svetloid'srpse.
"Wait, I've been saving up souls for a long ti so I can absorb them all at once now and get a massive power boost. Watch this." Flain said as he summoned Aran behind him.
Then, Flain opened his stats and started leveling up.

A massive surge of power rushed through Flain's body, and his eyes flickered wildly. He looked at his skeletal hand inside his glove and clenched it into a fist.
'The feeling of gaining power is incredible.' he thought.
Flain still had 10 bonus points to allocate, so he had to decide where to put them. After so thought, he made his decision.
