"It’s important to realize that true Lion’s Endurance doesn’t just require a physical body; you also need a strong character. If you master these techniques, you’ll survive even the cruelest winter of mind and body."

Makrim suddenly raised his hand and his voice began to echo like the rumble of a nearby storm.

At the end, he moved to the center of the room and commanded,

"Repeat after : I am strength. I am fortitude. I am the lion."

Every student repeated the phrase in unison, until it seed that the entire airship resonated with their determination.

Makrim Grodon lowered his head, satisfied – he knew that the seeds of endurance had already begun to sprout in the minds and bodies of the listeners.

Lion’s Endurance was over, and all the students began exiting the classroom. Flain had another 20 minutes before Iron Will would begin.

Either way, Flain definitely wasn’t going to attend Lion’s Endurance again. He was a skeleton, which ant he could survive extre conditions without any harm and without any training. If he kept going, it would just be a waste of ti.

Flain was also surprised at how well that professor understood human anatomy — he seed like he knew what he was talking about.

At first glance, Flain had assud this world was stuck in a primitive dieval age, but maybe it was much further along than it seed.

"It’s lunchti!" a raspy voice echoed throughout the academy.

The students started rushing toward the dining hall in a crowd.

Flain had, of course, already figured out how he would eat in public so no one would get suspicious.

It was simple — he would eat like any normal person, with his mouth.

Since his human body was just an illusion, the pieces of food would fall into Flain’s armor, which he would later empty out in his room.

Flain, Itai, and Flor made their way through the crowd to the dining hall where the food was already prepared. The three of them sat down across from each other.

"Hey, did you feel how cold that water was? My hands almost froze off," said Itai while putting a piece of potato in his mouth.

"That’s because you have a mortal’s body. I thought it was pretty cold too, but nothing extre," said Flor.

"It was a piece of cake for ," said Flain with a smirk.

The trio kept chatting. After 15 minutes, students started leaving the dining hall, and those who were planning to attend Iron Will were already trying to find the classroom so they wouldn’t be late — Flain, Itai, and Flor joined them.

They eventually found the classroom all the way at the far end of the academy, which took them the remaining 5 minutes they had left — they arrived just in ti.

The students began seating themselves wherever they wanted, once again.

When everyone was seated, the professor walked in through the door.

He was a tall man wearing a long black silk cloak adorned with golden ornants. Underneath the cloak, he wore an elegant dark-blue suit.

His eyes were a deep gray, slightly glowing when he focused.

He had long black hair tied back into a simple knot. He walked slowly, and his expression was unreadable — the closest comparison would be that he looked as if he were dreaming.

Finally, soone who looked like he belonged on this level.

The professor walked to the end of the classroom and stepped onto the platform.

"Greetings, I am Kaivalyar Grimor, I am the professor of Iron Will. Iron Will develops inner strength, self-control, and the psychological resilience of students. The main goal is to learn to maintain a clear mind under any stress, to push the limits of ntal strain, and to quickly regenerate ntally after failed tasks." said Kaivalyar, his tone was monotone and his expression rarely changed.

The students stared at him in silence for a mont – a cold wind drifted through the open windows, as if the Iron Will teacher himself had brought with him a tool for endurance. Kaivalyar Grimor slowly opened his cloak, revealing a large brooch in the shape of an inverted eye – the symbol of the "Hall of the Unbending Spirit".

The Hall of the Unbending Spirit is a legendary and mist-shrouded fellowship of mages, ditators, and mystics who seek the perfect balance of body and mind and strengthen their psyche to extres.

This institution is not part of any official organization – its existence has only been confird by a few pilgrims who returned from its halls unchanged in body and soul. These mages are unbelievably powerful, so no faction dared to make enemies of them by hunting them down.

Kaivalyar was a mber until he swore loyalty to the Emperor of Light 300 years ago and beca a teacher at the Noble Academy.

"Today we will begin with the first lesson: The Silence of the Mind," Kaivalyar announced. His voice was very soothing, and when the students heard it, their minds imdiately relaxed.

Kaivalyar pulled a birchwood table out of a spatial ring and placed it to his left. On it lay an ancient crucible with black powder and a thin ring made of pale stone.

Kaivalyar stepped into the center of the room. His presence expanded in a five-step radius – everyone felt the hum of everyday whispers dissolve around them.

"Close your eyes. Sit up straight, place your hands on your thighs. Perceive only your own breath, no other thought," he repeated in a monotone voice.

Kaivalyar took the crucible and began sprinkling powder all over the classroom. The powder fell on the students and embedded itself into their skin.

Silence that begins in the ears and then grows into the bones. It was as if every trace of the outside world vanished from the classroom. The wind stopped making a sound. Only the breath remained — and even that suddenly felt suspicious, far too loud. So students’ hearts began to race as they heard their own heartbeat far too clearly.

Panic spread down the spines of others — because every thought they tried to use to calm themselves only scread louder. Of course, this was the effect of the powder.

Flain sat there calmly, his mind had experienced far, far worse things and could not be compared to that of an ordinary student.

Compared to Absolute Resonance, this powder was like an ant to a dragon. Comparing Flain’s mind to that of these students was an insult...
