The next day, Kael went to school again. As soon as he sat down in the classroom, Class Rep Chihiro walked over.

"Renjou-kun, I heard you confessed to Yoshida-san yesterday after school."

At that ti, she had already left for sothing else and hadn't seen the confession.

Kael didn't deny it. He nodded openly. "That's true. Class Rep, are you also interested in confessions?"

Chihiro shook her head, expressionless. "Renjou-kun, confessing for love is indeed brave, but this matter has already reached Kirisu-sensei's ears." "So Kirisu-sensei asked to tell you to co to the office with Yoshida at noon today."

Kael clicked his tongue. "If I rember correctly, our school promotes freedom of atmosphere and freedom to date, right?"

That was one of the reasons Toyogasaki Academy was so well regarded—because the school didn't forbid students from dating. Many high schoolers, longing for romance, chose this school for that reason.

Chihiro acknowledged this. "Yes, the school promotes freedom to date and doesn't interfere with student relationships." "But Kirisu-sensei is a very serious teacher. Please understand that, Renjou-kun."

"I understand."

Kael caught the implication in her words, sighed, and made another OK gesture to show he understood.

Chihiro let him go and walked over to Saki to tell her the sa. Hearing this, Saki's face flushed red instantly. She glanced at Kael involuntarily and whispered: "Yes, I understand."

anwhile, Makoto turned around, his face full of envy and resentnt. "Yoshida-san actually accepted your confession. That's so unfair."

"You're not much better looking than . Why would she accept yours?"

"I know—it must be because you used so underhanded trick. Did you blackmail her?"

Kael was a little surprised. He hadn't expected the fool's intuition to be so sharp. Though he hadn't blackmailed Saki, he had indeed used an improper thod. Without the charm spell, Saki would never have accepted his confession. But he wasn't about to tell this fool, nor did he care to respond.

Makoto, embarrassed, turned back angrily as the class bell rang.

Ti flowed quickly, and the morning passed.

During lunch break, Kael walked over to Saki. "Let's go."

Saki nodded, hesitantly stood up, and followed him.

Kael led her straight to the office and knocked on the door.

Mafuyu's voice ca from inside. "Co in."

Kael pushed the door open. "Kirisu-sensei, you wanted to see us."

Saki stood beside Kael like a timid wife, obedient and not daring to look at her teacher's face.

Mafuyu's sharp gaze swept over them. "Question: I heard you two are dating?"

Kael nodded calmly. "Yes. Yesterday afternoon I confessed to Saki, and she accepted."

"Impure." Mafuyu said without hesitation. "A student's duty is to study. Don't waste ti on such things at school."

Kael chuckled. "So Kirisu-sensei wants to break us up."

Mafuyu frowned. "No. I just want you to understand that a student's essence is study."

"So in the end, Kirisu-sensei still wants to separate us, right?" Kael pressed.

"I just want you to focus on studying. You can date after entering university."

Looking at her earnest face, Kael said aningfully: "Kirisu-sensei, you must have never dated, right?"

The effect was imdiate—a direct hit. Mafuyu's face visibly flustered, her tone more panicked than ever. "Nonsense… nonsense! I… I've grown this much, how could I have never dated?"

But her flustered expression was unconvincing. Not only Kael, even Saki didn't believe her.

Saki stared at her teacher in disbelief. In her eyes, Mafuyu was an excellent, mature adult. Yet such an adult had never dated? That was too unbelievable.

If Mafuyu were plain-looking, with no admirers, it might make sense. But she was a stunning beauty, with curves and elegance. Could it be that no one pursued her during her student years? Were n's standards that high?

Saki quickly realized—no, it wasn't that n's standards were high. It was that Mafuyu was too aloof. So no one dared to pursue her.

Thinking this, Saki looked at her teacher with pity.

Mafuyu noticed her gaze and her face flushed red. She grew heated, even shaken.

"In any case, a student's essence is study…"

She tried to skip the topic, but Kael didn't let her. "Sensei, you want to break us up because you never dated as a student, right? Seeing us date makes you upset, so you want to separate us."

"No, no, no! That's absolutely not true!"

Mafuyu slamd the desk, loudly denying it, tears welling at the corners of her eyes. It was clear she was truly upset.

Seeing this, Kael realized he had gone too far. For so reason, every ti he saw Mafuyu, he wanted to provoke her emotions with words, to use the Heavenly Demon Manual of the Seven Emotions and Six Desires to make her his. She was simply too beautiful—so beautiful that Kael wanted to possess her.

Fortunately, he cald down quickly. There were too many beautiful won in the two-dinsional world. He couldn't possess them all. If he didn't restrain himself, he wouldn't control the demonic art—it would control him. So he had to constantly remind himself not to indulge too much. Otherwise, he would harm others and himself.
