Ao Nyobo is a special type of yokai.

It is said that a court lady, betrayed by her fiancé, transford into a black-toothed, disheveled-haired monster. Each night she would hold a mirror and dress herself, and if the person who saw her was not her fiancé, she would kill them.

Inspector gure sighed upon hearing this, then pulled out his phone and made a call. "Director Jinguji, a murder has occurred here. I may need you to send soone to take over."

Mouri Kogoro was baffled. "Inspector gure, who are you calling?"

gure ignored him and continued speaking with the person on the other end.

When Kael heard the na "Director Jinguuji," he thought of a woman—Narumi. But he was certain the director gure ntioned was not her, but soone else.

After a while, gure hung up and said to Kogoro: "Sorry, old friend. Let's wait a bit. Professionals will arrive soon to handle this matter."

"Professionals?" Kogoro was shocked. "You know there are yokai in this world?"

gure replied: "As a police inspector, after handling so many murder cases, eventually you encounter inexplicable things."

Takagi Wataru exclaid: "Inspector, why didn't I know about this?"

Sato Miwako also nodded—she too had no idea yokai existed.

gure explained: "That's because you're too young and haven't encountered such things before. But today you've seen it for yourselves."

Kogoro complained: "We're old friends, yet you kept this from ."

gure said: "It was to avoid causing panic. I'm sorry, old friend."

Kogoro wasn't unreasonable. Realizing gure had his reasons, he stopped complaining and instead asked curiously: "Inspector gure, who are these professionals?"

gure answered: "They're from a secret division of the police. I believe the full na is… the Counterasures Office for Supernatural Disasters, under the Ministry of the Environnt's Bureau of Natural Environnt."

Kael's eyes flickered at the na. It was familiar. He rembered it appeared in the ani Ga-Rei: Zero. And within that office was a popular heroine—Isayama Yomi. So he thought he might soon et her.

About ten minutes later, the doorbell rang again. Mouri Ran volunteered: "I'll get it." But to Kael's disappointnt, the person who entered was not Isayama Yomi. Instead, it was a white-haired girl in a kimono.

Kael recognized her—Yomi's cousin, Isayama i. She was a tragic character.

She was the niece of Isayama Naraku, head of the Isayama family. Naraku had no children, so i was expected to inherit the family leadership. But Naraku adopted an orphan and intended to pass the position to her. That orphan was Isayama Yomi.

This sparked i's resentnt. She was a blood relative of the Isayama family, while Yomi was just an orphan with no ties. i had every reason to be dissatisfied.

It was like a large family where the head had no children, so the position should naturally be yours. Then one day, your uncle adopted an orphan as his daughter. That alone was fine. But later, he decided to hand the family to her—a girl with no blood relation. Such a decision would shock anyone.

If the family had no heirs, passing it to an orphan would be acceptable. But the Isayama family still had relatives. Yet Naraku wanted to entrust it to an outsider. No wonder i couldn't accept it.

Even though Yomi was outstanding, i still resented her. In her eyes, Yomi was not truly of the Isayama family.

Still, i didn't act against Yomi—until one day she was implanted with the Sesshōseki.

The Sesshōseki was a crystallization of the nine-tailed fox's demonic power, filled with its energy. After being implanted, i was corrupted, her personality twisted. She killed Naraku Isayama, allowing her father, Isayama Yuu, to beco head of the family.

But soon after, i was killed by Yomi. Ironically, Yomi herself had also been implanted with the Sesshōseki. Thus, the Isayama family was dood.

That was why Kael considered i a tragic figure.

But judging from her current aura, she hadn't been implanted yet. She entered the room, bowed gracefully, and said: "I am Isayama i. Greetings to you all."

She was neither arrogant nor servile, polite and elegant. Though the Isayama family wasn't the largest, it was still a noble house, and its daughters were well-educated.

After greeting everyone, i asked Inspector gure about the situation. gure recounted what had happened, emphasizing Kael's presence and his unusual ability.

i was astonished. Making the dead speak was no ordinary feat.

"I didn't expect to find such a skilled person here. Forgive my earlier discourtesy."

"It's nothing. Just coincidence," Kael replied modestly.

i smiled, examined the corpse, and said: "This body retains faint traces of yin energy. It was indeed killed by a yokai, and has nothing to do with Ms. Okino Yoko."

Though Kael was a demonic cultivator, he had little knowledge of yokai. This was best left to professionals. And i was the most professional among them. Her words cleared Yoko of suspicion.
