"Your Majesty also has Yin Family bloodline?"
Changsheng Emperor of the South, with his hands clasped behind his back, as if deep in thought, said, "As far as I know, after the fall of Qin, many of the Great Qin royal family changed their surnas to Li and Qin. Could it be?"
"Not so!"
Star Lord Taibai chuckled and shook his head, "His Majesty’s lineage has no ties with the Great Qin royal family. The issue arises from ’Qinfeizi,’ who, due to his rits in horse breeding, was ennobled by the Emperor of Zhou in the Qin lands. The lineage stretched nearly nineteen hundred years, through thirty-six sovereigns, leaving behind countless descendants with a long and distinguished bloodline.
After the fall of Qin, the royal bloodlines of Great Qin had already rged into the common populace. Perhaps His Majesty’s lineage had in earlier generations married descendants of the Great Qin royal family, which is why he could unlock this gate."
Li Xuan’s eyes were filled with suspicion, sensing sothing mystical in the matter.
Star Lord Taibai’s words seed logical, yet they did not hold up to scrutiny.
However, his attention was soon captivated by the world that lay before him.
Especially at the very center of this land, that imnse altar.
The altar, shaped like a pyramid, asured a hundred miles in length and width, and was about three thousand feet high, appearing strikingly conspicuous in this three thousand-mile radius world.
It had a total of twelve levels; at the very top was a giant sarcophagus entwined by nine dragons.
Worth ntioning is that around the altar, there were also six hundred thousand terracotta soldiers guarding it.
"This is the Map of Rivers and Mountains."
Star Lord Taibai, too, was intently observing the landscape ahead, a peculiar gleam in his eyes. "In the past, the First Emperor used the Taishan prefecture Lord Sacrifice to borrow the power of the Great Emperor of Tai Mountain to accomplish the reincarnation of the True Spirit and reshape the Law Body. This is the origin of the Daoist Secret Technique called ’Taishan Prefecture Lord Sacrifice.’
The First Emperor also followed the advice of several contemporary famous Magicians by constructing a great array within his burial chamber. He placed the Map of Rivers and Mountains underneath the sarcophagus, positioned Emperor Yu’s Nine Cauldrons around the nine provinces of Jiuzhou, encircled with the Hetu Luoshu. He used jewels and Luminous Pearls as the stars and the cinnabar and rcury as rivers and seas, laying out the ’Jiuding Shanhe Array’ and ’Hunyuan Heluo Array’ to safeguard his True Spirit from extinction.
It must be said, this technique was not only ingeniously conceived but also nearly foolproof. Once he completed the entire ritual, even a Saint would struggle to stop his reincarnation ritual. And once the wounds of the First Emperor were fully healed, transcending the levels and reaching the throne of the Heaven Emperor would be within easy reach—"
Jiang Hanyun too was shocked by the magnificent sight before her, and she curiously asked, "This Map of Rivers and Mountains and the Hetu Luoshu should still belong to Fuxi and Lady Nvwa, right?"
The Map of Rivers and Mountains is an innate treasure, an artifact used by Lady Nvwa to suppress the fortunes of Saints.
The Hetu and Luoshu were possessions of Dijun, the second generation Heaven Emperor. The second Heavenly Court built the ’Hunyuan Heluo Array’ around the two books, whose divine might was no less powerful than the Zhoutian Stars Array, having suppressed heaven and earth for tens of thousands of years.
After the death of Dijun, these treasures successively fell into the hands of Fuxi. The latter also used these two books to derive the innate eight diagrams, thus achieving his Dao enlightennt.
Star Lord Taibai nodded slightly, "It should be. The Fuxi Emperor once sealed himself in the Huoyun Cave, together with Shennong, Xuanyuan, Suiren, Yusu, and Tomoo among other human Saints, rging their Primordial Spirits into heaven and earth, forming the embryonic form of the First Emperor’s Yuanfeng. Thus, their True Spirits remained intact, and their Flesh was undamaged, ready to awaken at any mont.
Lady Nvwa assisted Haotian in a battle during the third generation of Heavenly Court, it is said that she was severely injured and has since sealed herself in the Fengtai holy land. The First Emperor was also severely injured in the sa battle of the third generation Heavenly Court and presumably was too weak to refine them. Therefore, these two supre treasures were likely lent to him by the Fuxi Emperor and Lady Nvwa."
Li Xuan then looked towards the sarcophagus surrounded by twelve massive tal giants.
He thought they were probably the Twelve Golden n, crafted from celestial weapons collected from all over the world and the elite of Jin tal by the First Emperor.
These golden n were said to be chanical creations, yet they were not the sa as the six chanical generals Li Xuan had obtained during his campaigns in Taixu.
They all stood around twenty-one feet tall, their bodies covered in white gold armor, exuding a fierce and powerful aura, their physiques as massive as mountains.
Li Xuan keenly sensed that the power origin of these twelve golden n surpassed even that of the ’Twelve Divine Generals of Twelve Portents’ under Haotian, reaching the Holy Heaven Level.
"Those are the Evil Immortal of Twelve Heavens!"
Lv Qiluo’s deanor turned sowhat solemn; she had only heard about the Twelve Golden n of Great Qin before but had never seen them in person until today.
"The First Emperor must have integrated the remnant flags of the forr Immortal-Slaying Array of the Twelve Heavens, and the ancestral totem powers of twelve kinds into them, thus forging these Twelve Golden n. Each of the statues possesses the power of one totem."
Although this was far from the complete form of the true Immortal-Slaying Array of the Twelve Heavens, its divine might was still trendously powerful.
Especially within this Map of Rivers and Mountains, within this Hunyuan Heluo Array, the power of these Twelve Golden n was even capable of contending against the ’Hell Rule.’
Li Xuan too was taken aback, even feeling sowhat fortunate that he had managed to safely break through the gate rather than forcing it open with brute strength.
Otherwise, at this mont, he and the emperors present would face a backlash akin to a tempestuous thunderstorm from behind the royal heir.
Just then, among the terracotta soldiers surrounding the altar, suddenly six chariots ’ca to life,’ pulled by horses they flew straight into the sky, rushing towards Li Xuan with the speed of lightning.
Then, from each of the six chariots, a heavily armored and robust general stepped down, kneeling before Li Xuan.
"Your servant Bai Qi, Wei Ran, Wang Jian, ng Tian, Li Xin, Wang Ben, greet Your Majesty! We have been waiting for Your Majesty here for a long ti."
