"Ok, I have bad news and bad news." With his eyesight enhanced, Ray could see the energy inside of Alexanderia’s body. Sothing clearly made changes to her cells; her cells were forced to accept another being inside of them. If she leveled up, she would die in an instant.

"Bad news is, the thing I need to do takes around a month to purify from your body, so I’m going to burn them all and repair them myself." Taking a deep breath Ray continued, "The other bad news is, if you beco unconscious, you will die."

"Why unconscious?" Alexanderia asked with a worried face, not every day a man’s hand is in her chest, trying to stop her from self-detonation.

Ray had trained her precision like the elves he saw, yet to master it, he had a long way to go, so he just continued with his usual thod. His magic burst through his hand into her blood system, stabilizing the two magic for so ti, yet it all depended on Alexanderia not losing control.

"A whole nervous system, and half of your muscles..." Two blood needles got to work, all of his focus on the two needles; one of them had his healing magic, and the other one destroyed any cell that it ca into contact with.

As the first skin on his hands started to destroy and heal, Alexanderia started to scream from the pain; her mind went through every pain imaginable at the sa ti.

Like a virus, the brain resisted losing control by sending pain to the host; with only one at the control, it could do whatever it wanted.

"Fuck..." Among the screams of pain, Ray whispered to himself, "Each part needs at least three tis to be cleansed! The king of silence should be on his way too."

"How much can you handle this?" Ray asked with a calm voice despite the ss in his mind.

Alexanderia barely could talk: "No... Much."

Not everyone was familiar with pain like Ray; as a human, the most effective way to affect soone was through pain, yet Ray had long gone beyond the limits of what a human could withstand.

His mind connected to her nervous system, feeling the sudden change; the brain input more pain into him, burning, drowning, and being cut to pieces.

Alexanderia watched with wide eyes as Ray only smiled and continued his job; her pain was gone, the pain that caused her to lose her sense of self, yet Ray got only a little slower.

"You have to work better than this." Ray finished the first part, becoming familiar with the task. More needles got to work, each having his thought on how to do the surgery.

His body started to react to the intense pressure on his mind, dismissing his domain. Ray replaced the clones with normal ones. Cold sweat covered his whole body, yet the brain didn’t seem to back off.

The pain faded away. What took its place were scenes of his parents’ corpses, Jade torn into pieces, and anyone he knew in his life. So of them were being tortured in the thousands of ways.

"Since you love this emotion, why don’t I show the real fear?" All the ti he was scared of one of his abilities; anything that ca from the devil of fear and hunger was like a double-edged sword.

For the first ti Ray activated his bond ability: Fear. His eyes turned dark for a mont; he saw the brain. It was as large as a house with the mixture of machine and human flesh, and with each movent, oil and blood fell from it to the ground.

The familiar aura of the devil ran through their connection; Brain destroyed its connection at its base, but still parts of it exploded.

"What was that...?" The sight in front of her didn’t belong to a human; half of his face was crumbled together with all of his skin leaking blood.

Ignoring healing herself, Ray continued to Alexanderia, "Sothing that no one should co in contact with." With the brain gone, his work got so much easier.

"Release all the lighting magic elsewhere." Blots of lighting started to turn into fla in the sky; without the brain’s control, their form didn’t exist any longer.

Sensing a powerful aura entering the desert, Ray had less than a minute. "Fuck it." Her magic attacked all of her nervous system, destroying it all at once. Alexanderia fell into his hands with no mind.

He teleported both of them to the secret bunker, yet he didn’t feel safe. Soone with five magics should have been able to detect his location in the bunker.

"Less than 10 percent..." Ray cursed inwardly as he pumped the remains of her magic to Alexandria, healing the wound on her chest and her nervous system.

Opening her eyes, she wanted to stand up, but a hand stopped her. "Don’t overdo it. Your magic still hates you." Ray had seen people that went against their magic; in response, they lost so of their abilities.

Her silver eyes locked on the tired Ray; he sat next to the bed with heavy breaths and sweat. "Why?"

Ray explained with closed eyes, "Two magics coexisting is near impossible most of the ti; only nature itself can make it work, like General Iri. What Brain did to your body was forcing itself inside. As a result, your own magic over ti went against your will; if it goes on for a few years, you would have lost all of your abilities in death magic.

"The... They never said anything about this."

"Are you retarded or what? Of course he wouldn’t say anything." Ray sighed, "The brain on its own is not a problem. Do you know the magic of the king of silence?"

"No, but I heard the devil he is bonded to is nad Mythos." Alexandria didn’t know herself how she agreed to most of the decisions she had made.

Ray didn’t say anything more; a na was enough for him to gather information from Famine.

Breaking the weird silence, Alexanderia asked with a shy tone: "Why did you save ?"

"Marian and Jade need you, plus you didn’t forget our bet, right?" With a grin he gave her a piece of paper.

Reading the paper, Alexanderia looked at him with disbelief. "Really? A master and slave contract?"
