Dushan, the atmosphere is getting better and better, exactly what Hou Niao hoped to see.
He dare not say that his transformation of the Jinxiu Sword Vein has been successful, but at least the Sword Vein is on the right path.
The little peacock is not ho; she went out traveling with Dugu Lan and Xiao Qiang. In Shan Country, she doesn’t need to worry about safety; her ice house is already built, shaped like a peacock spreading its wings, making it unique on Dushan.
The construction on the main peak of the entire Dushan is basically complete. Hundreds of gigantic ice sculpture structures decorate the peak beautifully, especially during the day when the sunlight shines down, appearing like a colorful world.
The main body consists of three massive architectural complexes, with the Ice and Snow Sword Pavilion as the central complex on the summit of Dushan, composed of over a hundred large palaces, grand and solemn, and serving as the main venue for grand ceremonial events.
Then there’s the Shaking Light Sword Palace at the mountainside, the core of daily operations for the Sword Vein. While the Ice and Snow Sword Pavilion serves as a symbolic complex mainly for large ceremonies symbolizing the head, this place is the actual heart, frequented by Golden Core cultivators, filled with various functional palaces, nearly two hundred in total, surrounding the midsection of the peak like a jade belt.
At the foot of the mountain is the Tongtian Sword Building complex, resembling an ice city, as it accommodates more than eighty percent of the cultivators of the Sword Vein;
This sense of disparity is to let every sword cultivator know where their goal lies, and besides striving upward, they have no other path.
Such an extensive construction reportedly involved Master Wu nearly emptying a nearby glacier and investing countless manpower and resources; the only regret now is that although the exterior architecture is complete, the interior of many palaces is still lacking, a matter that cannot be rushed and only ti can gradually resolve.
In these nine years, Master Wu has found himself and has also fulfilled Quanzhen. Initially, his circumstances were no different from Master Duanfu, but a single thought led to entirely different outcos.
There’s only a year left, invitations have been sent out gradually, and for such a significant event, it’s crucial to give guests ample ti to make their arrangents.
All Daoist lineages on the continent will receive invitations sent by the Quanzhen Sect in the na of the Jinxiu Sword Vein, even those as far as the Ying Platform overseas had received the ssage two years prior, leaving none out.
However, how many people will actually co, we cannot say. The southwestern paths will definitely co, as they dare not not co; friendly overseas Daoist lineages will not miss it either, while others, it’s uncertain.
For the Quanzhen Sect, they are after all the regional leaders of the Demon Sect, but cannot yet claim to be the leaders of the Demon Sect on the continent, their influence not as great as those major Daoist sects or Buddhist sects, yet to invite is a gesture, whether attendees co is about reputation, there’s nothing to say.
Historically, the Shan Sect Quanzhen has never held such a continental event, having only hosted similar activities in the southwest region at most, and that was two hundred years ago when Hou Niao was not even born.
On the continent, only the Daoists have the capacity to host such grand gatherings, as their followers are nurous enough not to face the awkwardness of sending invitations without any attendance, even the Buddhist sects would not easily attempt such a continental gathering.
The Jinxiu Sword Vein dares to do this for several reasons.
The foundation is the recent century of Hou Niao’s performance making all Daoist lineages look at the Sword Vein with new eyes, the Constellation True Inheritor, and two descents from outer space, making them highly spirited; even the fundantal True Inheritor selection and assessnt, resulting in the present seize for power and standing, making the Shan Sect Quanzhen a new phenonon of cultivation.
The internal driving force is the nine years of integration, making the inheritance issues of various Daoist lineages unfold clearly, most have found their true inheritance, but a portion remains unclear, thus forming alliances becos possible.
The main invitees for this grand ceremony by the Quanzhen Sect are those with unclear inheritances, hoping to form a loose alliance to counter the increasingly aggressive Daoist and Buddhist sects.
As long as these Daoist lineages co, it is a success, as for those so-called major sects and lineages, they do not genuinely concern themselves.
Judging from the reports of disciples sent with the invitations, most Daoist lineages have not given a clear response, rely stating to see the situation, remaining ambiguous.
Without expectations, there won’t be disappointnts.
Li Chuping is reporting this grand ceremony’s possible scale to him, "The scale may not be too large, don’t be disappointed."
Hou Niao just laughed, "Why would I be disappointed? It’s enough if friends co, if too many wolves co, we’ll have to guard against them, isn’t that exhausting?"
Li Chuping shrugged, for the Shan Sect Quanzhen, the tradition has always been a lack of interest in such events due to the Sword Vein’s nature, even if you make a flourishing sword event, it doesn’t achieve much, nor attract many from afar to join in?
But as Hou Niao said, the revival of the Shan Sect Quanzhen needs to use this grand ceremony to express an attitude, a new beginning; you could say it’s necessary to have a ceremonial sense for such significant matters like the integration with the Grassland Sword Vein, otherwise, the grassland might feel this hocoming is not formal enough!
In other words, a proper marriage ceremony in the front door is necessary, not sneaking through the side door, that’s the rule.
As for the enthronent ceremony of Hou as the Sect Hierarch, he himself doesn’t care, nor do other cultivators, as these things aren’t highly esteed; the significant process has already been experienced, and it’s not a big deal, the ceremonial sense in the Sword Tomb’s small world is far more aningful than gathering a crowd for a celebration?
But given all the factors converging together, the choice of heading is crucial.
Grandly proclaiming the formation of an alliance would stimulate certain sensitive nerves; openly stating the revival of the Sword Vein would make so people uneasy; righteously saying the integration with the Grassland occurred would make them extra vigilant.
These real objectives can only be done silently but not spoken, saying them makes the Jinxiu Sword Vein appear ambitious and purposeful, etc.
What can be spoken? Only the inauguration of Hou as the Sect Hierarch.
This is the intricacy of the cultivation world, you may dislike it, yet when it’s your turn, you have no choice but to follow suit.
Hou Niao was very troubled, being pushed to the front by these cunning masters again, and he had no enough reason to refuse, so he could only sacrifice his habits for the sect’s interests.
Fortunately, when he decided to take on this burden, he had already ntally prepared for these matters, never again can he roam the world alone with a sword, wondering how long this tornt will last?
Will there be liberation after Heaven Creation?
