Chapter 9: Chapter 9:Speed

A week went by, during that week he had spent his ti trying to figure out his powers. He learnt how to control his senses.

Now he was no longer overwheld by sounds or scents. He had also tested his physical attributes and damn were they impressive.

He could deadlift 800 kg in his base form without much difficulty. If he pushed himself he figured he could probably go beyond a ton.

He hadn’t tried his wolf form, to be honest he was kind of scared to transform, everyti he tried he could feel his violent desires trying to overwhelm him.

He was already easily irritable as he was, the wolf form enhanced that by a hundred fold. The one thing he was yet to test was his speed.

He planned to do that today, also for the first ti since transforming he actually managed to fall asleep.

It was now the 6th day since he beca a werewolf. He went to take a shower but when he saw himself in the mirror he paused.

His silver hair was gone, instead it had turned pitch black like before but it was also different.

Longer and silky like a wolf’s fur but also still retaining it hard and tough nature. His light skin was a bit darker now and he looked as handso as a god.

He flexed his muscles he never had to work for. Then he felt that he was a bit weaker in this form.

A third form it appeared, " I suppose this is my new base form now." He tried to transform.

His hair turned silver and grew longer, his eyes beca silver as well and his nails grew sharper and longer and so did his fangs.

He turned back to normal, he figured he would need to test the limit of this form as well.

First order of business was checking his regeneration speed. He stabbed himself with a knife.

The pain went straight to his brain, it seed he was more sensitive to pain in this form. The wound stopped bleeding a second later and started healing.

It completely closed in about 5 seconds, it was still unnaturally fast but significantly slower than before.

A wound like this would’ve healed in about 2 seconds, perhaps even less. In his wolf form it probably would’ve healed as soon as he pulled out the knife.

Still, he was relieved he wouldn’t have to walk around with silver hair, that would’ve drawn too much attention.

He even contemplated dying it black but now that was no longer necessary. After taking a shower he left.

Near the edge of the town was a police car, he had been watching it for a few days and knew they had a speedoter.

He wanted it, he walked up to the car and knocked on the window. The driver lowered the window.

Both cops looked at him, the other one was a young beautiful woman. Adrian knew her, she was a senior in his school a few years ago.

" What can we help you with kiddo?" The older policeman asked with a kind smile. Adrian was a kid so adults naturally treated him as such, which also ant they were less vigilant against him.

The woman on the other hand squinted her eyes, " Don’t I know you? Wait I do know you, you’re Adrian, Adrian Lunar.

Where have you been? everybody thought you’re dead. I’m so sorry about your mother by the way but we’re going to need you to sign a statent back in the station.

We promise we will catch the people who did that, we...." Adrian just smiled at her and raised his hand, this lady had always been talkative.

If he let her he would never leave this place,

" I need your help." They both raised their eyebrows and he grinned.

"How can a human move this fast?" The policeman asked while watching the speedoter.

His partner couldn’t even speak which was rare for her. Adrian ran back to them, " Let

see."

They gave him the speedoter and it showed 150 km/h. This was his speed in his base form.

It was quite impressive, he decided to check the second form and see how fast he was in that one.

He took a sprinting stance, his hair and eyes turned silver and a growl escaped his lips startling the two cops.

However they couldn’t run or do anything about it, they were compelled. They knew they were compelled and still couldn’t do anything about it.

Adrian moved, he kicked off the ground and sprinted. The wind brushed against his face and his hair flew back in the air.

He left a trail of wind and dust behind him, then he went to check the speedoter and both cops looked flabbergasted.

He bet it was fast, the number surprised him as well. " 380, that’s more than twice my speed in my base form."

He thought about checking his speed in wolf form but decided against it. He didn’t know if he can control it.

While Adrian could tell his views had been changed by his transformation, as evidenced by him killing three n without feeling anything.

Not just them, the poachers as well, his views towards taking human life had changed greatly.

But he still didn’t want to just kill anybody, so he chose not to take full wolf form. " Well thank you, you two had been great help."

" Will you release now?" The woman asked sounding irritated. He nodded, " you’re free to go."

They both ran to their car and were about to drive off when he stopped them. " I almost forgot, You will forget everything about

including ever seeing

today."

After compelling them to forget he ran into the forest on the side of the road and disappeared.

A few minutes after he was gone, it seed as if sothing clicked in their minds. They found themselves holding a speedoter showing an incredible number.

" How did we not see sobody driving that fast?" The woman asked but her older partner didn’t respond.

He was deeply confused and had a feeling he was missing so mories. He figured it was probably stress and ignored it.

In his agitated state he failed to notice if it was stress, his much younger partner with a bubbly personality wouldn’t be experiencing the sa thing as him.

Adrian went back to his motel, just as he went his room two people entered the motel behind him.
