Inside the wooden house…
Ning Yechen gently placed Luo Ruying on the bed and put his hand on her wrist to take her pulse. His face turned cold.
In almost a century, this was the first ti he wanted to kill people!
He carefully took her pulse and realized that her condition was far worse than he had imagined.
All her ridians were damaged, her immortal bone had been removed, and even her heart was gone.
She had been using a fake heart to sustain her life!

Ning Yechen gently touched Luo Ruying’s face. Spiritual energy from his hands went into her body to protect her.

Luo Hongye was lying by the side of the bed, worried. Tears were quietly cascading down her face. She was a sweet girl doing her best not to disturb anyone.
“Co here.” Ning Yechen put away his enraged expression, changed to a genial smile, and waved at Luo Hongye.
He wanted to call her na, but he awkwardly realized he did not know it.
He did not even know his woman’s na, let alone his daughter’s.
Luo Hongye walked over shyly to Ning Yechen. She looked at him with her big, watery eyes as she said weakly, “Daddy…”
Her voice instantly turned Ning Yechen’s heart to mush.
Ning Yechen pulled her into his arms excitedly and stroked her adorable face gently. “Daughter, what is your na?”
“Luo Hongye…” she replied sweetly.
“Luo Hongye…” Ning Yechen repeated the na softly, committing it to mory.
He smiled and coaxed her. “Don’t worry, Yeye. Your mother is fine. Don’t cry, okay?”
“Uh-huh!” Luo Hongye nodded hard.
She looked at Ning Yechen worriedly and asked, “Daddy, how are your injuries?”
“Huh?” Ning Yechen was puzzled by the question.
Ning Yechen could not rember the last ti he was hurt. He had no impression whatsoever.
“Mommy said you didn't look for us because you were badly hurt. Is that true?” Luo Hongye asked, looking at him expectantly.
The mont Ning Yechen heard this, he promptly realized this had to be the lie that Luo Ruying had been telling their daughter. He gave a helpless smile and used the excuse he was just handed. “That’s right. I’ve been recuperating here, so I didn’t go see you. I miss you so much! The mont I t you, I felt better already!”
“Really? Does that an you still want us?” Luo Hongye asked innocently, looking very happy.
Love flooded Ning Yechen’s heart, and he held Luo Hongye in his arms even more tightly. He stroked her head gently and promised, “Yes, of course I do. From now on, I will always be by your side, protecting you both.”
“Uh-huh!” Luo Hongye happily leaned her face against Ning Yechen’s chest and clutched his clothes tightly.
She had finally found her father.
“Yeye, tell . Where did your mother and you used to stay? How was your life? Was it good?” Ning Yechen asked with a smile.
However, there was sothing more to the smile on his face.
Ning Yechen had to know what had happened in the past ten years! He wanted to know who had dared to take his wife’s immortal bone and heart and hurt her like this.
Luo Hongye innocently thought all Ning Yechen wanted to know about was their past and happily chattered away.
For as long as she could rember, after she was born, she had always lived in a small cupboard.
Her mother told her they were playing hide and seek, and she had to hide well.

Those people looked scary, and she did not like them, so she would shrink into the corner of the cage.
This went on until her mother ca for her and took her from the pitch-black iron cage.
But no matter where they went, lots of people kept coming after them.
Luo Hongye raised her head and said indignantly, “They hit Mommy! I don't like them!”
When Ning Yechen heard this, his face turned glacial, and he wanted to explode inside. Well done, people of Heavenly Realm! How dare you hurt my wife and daughter?
From Luo Hongye's words, he could roughly guess the kind of life they had led.
In order to conceal the fact she had given birth to Luo Hongye, Luo Ruying had hidden her in the cupboard and convinced her they were playing hide and seek.
When they were discovered, she had no choice but to break into the dungeon forcibly and escape from the Heavenly Realm.

Ning Yechen wanted to charge straight into the Heavenly Realm right now and annihilate all the people who had touched his wife and daughter!

“Don’t be afraid. I’m just thinking about how to take care of those people who bullied you.” Ning Yechen hurriedly concealed the murderous aura radiating from him and put on a genial smile.
“That’s good. You have to help do it for Mommy. Those baddies keep bullying her!” Luo Hongye nodded as she clenched her little hands angrily.
“Don’t worry. There’s no escape for those bad people,” Ning Yechen smiled and rubbed Luo Hongye’s head gently.
He was already thinking about where to start.
