The void behind Ye Zheng split open, and a silhouette stepped out
through the crack.
This person was wearing a luxurious long robe, with his hair done up in
a ponytail and reaching his ankles. His stern face looked handso.
The man was the demonic general of the Demon Realm's 1^st^ Legion, Ye
Tianshen.
His cultivation was at the Heavenly Emperor realm!
Even in the Demon Realm, Ye Tianshen was among the strongest
powerhouses!
Ye Zheng was delighted to see the man and hurriedly climbed to Ye
Tianshen's feet. "Lord Ye Tianshen, you have to help seek justice!
This man offended the Demon Realm. He has no respect for you and the
Demon Realm."
Ye Zheng was very confident with his superior, Ye Tianshen, around.
He was certain that this man was dead at!
Ye Tianshen was in no hurry to attend to Ning Yechen. Instead, he
glanced at Ye Zheng at his feet and reprimanded, "What are you doing
here? I don't recall letting you co to the Mortal Realm."
"Forgive , Lord Ye Tianshen." Ye Zheng did not dare to tell Ye
Tianshen the truth. A mysterious person had talked him into coming to
the Mortal Realm to kill soone. He answered evasively and admitted his
mistake.
Seeing Ye Zheng admit his mistake, Ye Tianshen only told him that he
would receive punishnt when they returned to the Demon Realm and did
not probe further.
In the Six Realms, it was common for people from one realm to travel
secretly to another, and the Demon Realm was no exception.
Ye Tianshen simply assud that Ye Zheng had secretly co to the Mortal
Realm without permission to play around.
He happened to be searching for the Demon Lord in the Mortal Realm when
he detected soone using Demonic Annihilation.
Out of curiosity, he ca over to check out the situation and happened
to hear Ning Yechen's words.
Ye Tianshen was furious that Ye Zheng and his n had lost to soone
from the Mortal Realm.
He wanted to punish Ye Zheng not only for going to the Mortal Realm
without permission but more so for being defeated!
The Demon Realm was all about glory and pride. Losing was no different
from embarrassing the Demon Realm!
Ye Tiansheng was furious about this.
Initially, he had no intention of interfering. Even if Ye Zheng died
from losing, he could only bla his own lack of skill.
But Ning Yechen's words were too arrogant, so he revealed himself.
He wanted to see who dared to speak so arrogantly!
Even in the Nine Great Heavenly Domains of the Heavenly Realm, no one
would dare say that the Demon Realm could not save soone if they
wanted!
Ye Tianshen turned to look at Ning Yechen and fell into a daze.
Frowning, he scrutinized Ning Yechen. Then his eyes widened, and his
expression beca complicated.
There were mixed emotions of joy and fear on Ye Tianshen's face.
Ning Yechen smiled in disdain and greeted Ye Tianshen. "Hmph. Long ti
no see, Ye Tianshen."
Ye Zheng was angry. He struggled to stand up and shouted at Ning Yechen
furiously, "Who do you think you are? How dare you address Lord Ye
Tianshen by na? Stop acting like you're chums with him, kid! You have
offended the Demon Realm. You are dead at! Isn't that right, Lord Ye
Tianshen?"
With Ye Tianshen around, Ye Zheng was arrogant. After speaking, he even
looked at Ye Tianshen with admiration.
But to his surprise, Ye Tianshen looked annoyed. He grabbed Ye Zheng by
the collar and squeezed his face so hard that his skull nearly broke!
Ye Tianshen went up to his face and glared at him murderously. "What the
fuck are you saying? Are you trying to get into trouble? Do you know
who this is in front of you, idiot?"
"It's you, Lord Ye Tianshen." Ye Zheng was puzzled. Even though his
skull nearly broke, he did not dare to make a peep.
"I wasn't talking about , idiot!" Ye Tianshen was so mad that he
pushed Ye Zheng to the ground with all his strength, leaving the earth
shaking!
With this blow, Ye Zheng was now half-dead.
Ye Zheng did not understand why Ye Tianshen was furious and punished
him.
He had never seen Ye Tianshen so afraid before.
Lord Ye Tianshen seed very afraid of this man!
Even the man in black, who had luckily escaped death, looked astonished.
The legendary Ye Tianshen from the Demon Realm was actually fearful of
this man!
Ye Tianshen let go of Ye Zheng and flung him aside. He placed his left
hand on his right chest and bowed reverently to Ning Yechen. "Greetings,
Demon Lord!"
Ye Tianshen was full of guilt and sha inside.
It was unbelievable that he did not recognize the Demon Lord at first
glance!
He was even rude to the Demon Lord!
Also, his subordinate had even attacked the Demon Lord!
This was utter embarrassnt to him, the demonic general of the Demon
Realm's 1^st^ Legion.
Ye Zheng and the man in black looked at Ning Yechen in a daze.
The man in front of them was the Demon Lord who had disappeared from the
Demon Realm a century ago?!
It must be true!
To be able to make Ye Tianshen act so reverently, only one person from
the entire Demon Realm could do it!
After snapping out of their thoughts, Ye Zheng and the man in black
hurriedly knelt and kowtowed. They said with their voices trembling,
"G-greetings, Demon Lord!"

full of regret.

Ning Yechen waved his hand and said in disdain, "Don't call that. I
am no longer the Demon Lord."
Ye Tianshen raised his head and looked imploringly at Ning Yechen.
"Demon Lord, you are still the one and only Demond Lord of the Demon
Realm! We have been looking for you and waiting for your return! We
can't do without you! Please return!"
They had been searching for over a century to welco the Demon Lord
back to the Demon Realm!
Hearing that Ye Tianshen and others were looking for him, Ning Yechen
asked quizzically, "After I left, didn't a new Demon Lord take over?"
The Demon Realm worked on whose fist was harder, and countless people
vied to beco the Demon Lord.
Even in his ti, he had to beat everyone to beco the lord of the
Demon Realm.
In theory, many people would want to beco the next Demon Lord after he
left.
Ye Tianshen nodded and replied solemnly, "After you left, people with
evil intentions did try to take over as Demon Lord. We have already
taken care of those people! They have no right to take your position!"
Ning Yechen did not know what to say.
This ant that, after his departure, the Demon Realm had gone without a
Demon Lord for over a century.
He assud soone had taken over as Demon Lord eons ago.
He had already made plans to retire peacefully and enjoy the rest of his
life.
"Demon Lord, we are all waiting for you to return. You have to return to
the Demon Realm with !" Ye Tianshen imported.
Ning Yechen waved his hand in disgust and rejected without hesitation.
"No. Just pick one of you to beco the Demon Lord. No matter who takes
over, it won't be ."
"W-why not?" Ye Tianshen asked doubtfully.
Ning Yechen smiled with anticipation and replied airily, "I have
sothing more important to do!"
