Once logged in again, I arrived in the suburbs of Beckingsale city because I had teleported to that place before logging out yesterday. My destination is Nueridge city, but I can only do instant travel to places I've been to, and solely in the outskirts. I will continue my journey with another thod.
"Ugh!" Seconds after, I knelt down and grimaced.
"What happened, my lord?" Szur asked in a worried tone.
Ayre added. "Are you okay?"
A burning sensation crept up every inch of my body, and so parts of my joints felt like they were being twisted.

"I'm okay." When I got up, I felt the pain in my joints getting worse. However, I try not to show it on my face.
Maybe the pain in my joints was due to the giant monster's attacks. However, what about this burning sensation on my skin? Could it be because of the radiation from that black sphere?
I looked at Szur, who imdiately tilted his head. The little creature seed unaffected, even though its fur was gone entirely.
It's impressive to endure pain like this for so long.
"Can you continue, my lord?" Ayre asked again.
I took a deep breath. Nueridge city is next to Beckingsale, but that doesn't an it's a short trip.
And I have to do it by walking during the day to avoid attention? With this pain? Shit.
"I hope you guys don't mind if we take a little break." I decided to fly at night so people wouldn't see us.
"It's okay, my lord." Szur pointed to a large tree. "How about we rest there."
I moved to that place, sat down, and took another deep breath. When I was about to press the fast-forward button, I found one more thing that was different. My HP bar is gone. This ans that I can only use my feelings to determine the limits of my body.
I should have known it wasn't going to be easy. Yes, the subordinates and this world are real, but the pain and danger are real too.
As soon as I pressed the button, I felt a burning sensation in my body, and the pain in my joints multiplied.

"Argghhhh!!!" I can't take it anymore. I'd rather die than feel this insane pain.

Then, I could feel the cold ground on my sides, a sign that I had collapsed.

The sky was already dark when I finally opened my eyes. Szur and Ayre knelt next to , looking worried. And I also found soone else with them.
The slender young woman looked more nervous than worried. She continued to fix her round glasses position.
"Are you all right, Your Majesty?" Szur asked.
"Aah... I feel better." The burning sensation had disappeared entirely from my body.
Szur then pointed at the woman with dark green hair in a big braid. "She healed the burning sensation in our bodies."
"It's a trace of so kind of radiation used to make an artificial chanical brain." The woman began to explain very quickly, like soone in a hurry. "I was surprised to find these traces in your bodies. She grimaced.

"Sorry, what did you an?" I don't understand Ayre's explanation.
A vortex of light appeared near Lexi. She stuck her hand in it, then pulled out a thick book.
I rubbed my chin. "That's amazing."
Imagine if she beca my subordinate.
"I keep all my books and tools in a pocket dinsion." The green-haired woman spoke again, still in a rapid tone. "The thing is, I was having trouble finding that healing thod. That's because such radiation treatnt thods to demons should have disappeared as well."
I get up to a sitting position, still aching in the joints, but I feel much better. "I see. That's what happened."
"Actually, the traces of radiation will not threaten your life." She continued her speech again. "It's just that it will torture you for the rest of your life. Maybe you felt the burning sensation so excruciating that you fainted…. Ah, sorry I'm talking too long again."
Szur looked at with teary eyes. "And since yesterday, you endured the pain without complaining? Szur felt it a little, but he already wanted to die."

Well, it worked out in the end.
"So, thanks for helping , miss." I noticed the dark robe and tall hat she was wearing. "My na is Vorn. I'm very impressed with your abilities."
"Oh my, god… I was praised by the demon lord many tis." The woman looked away, whispering to herself, but it was too loud that I could still hear her. Then, she cleared her throat and looked at again. "My na is Lexi Morgan, sir. You can call Lexi."
"She's the devil's doctor we're looking for, my lord," Ayre added.
That woman nad Lexi grimaced. "Well, basically, I'm just a magic scientist who happens to be able to cure troubled people's ailnts. The ones who can't co to the official dical center So, I'm not really a doctor…. Again, I'm sorry. I'm talking about unimportant things."
"It's okay." I chuckled, feeling her nervous attitude was quite adorable. "Again, I thank you. You ca all the way to see . I really feel better now."
"But I want to examine you further. I'm afraid there are other wounds on your body that are not visible. However, I can only do it at my house because the equipnt is more complete..." She gasped, seemingly realizing that she had spoken too long again.
