"So, we don't know when the baby is due, Doc?" With longer blonde hair, Robyn was lying on one of the clinic's beds. Lexi was checking her already big belly.
"That's how it is." Lexi turned off the light in her hand. "We still don't know much about the fairy."
Robyn sighed. "I want this baby out soon."
Lana, lying on the next bed, also with a big belly, chuckled. "Well, neither of us knows when our baby is due. We'd better enjoy this."
"I want to quickly impress lord Vorn." Robyn continued. "I want to…."
Rembering that Lexi was one of Lord Vorn's lovers, Robyn stopped talking. The doctor didn't respond and cleaned up his equipnt instead.
"I also want to give birth to this baby soon," Lana said, trying to make things less awkward. "And I wonder if my kid will look like their dad or ."
"Most likely, the baby will look like you." Lexi smiled. "I feel your elent is more predominant than Ritor in the baby. Well, there will probably be a pair of little horns on its head, and the hair will be the sa color as their father's fur…."
The green-haired woman's words were cut off by Ayre's arrival. It was unusual for the shapeshifter general to co to the clinic.
"Doc, I need to talk to you." Ayre stopped. "This is very important. I hope you have ti."
The doctor just blinked, wondering what they were going to talk about. "Sure."

Ayre stopped under a tree, looking at the shapeshifters practicing martial arts in the distance. They are candidates for police force mbers who will take care of this place.
"What do you want to talk about, Ayre?" the doctor asked.
Ayre was silent for a few seconds. "Did you think Lord Vorn in that other world would have the sa power as here?"
Slowly, Lexi lowered her chin. "In that world, he doesn't have that power?"
"That world knows no magic and only relies on technology." The shapeshifter general explained. "Our Lord is just an ordinary human there. I purposely don't discuss it with the others, so…. Basically, I don't want them to beco too shocked."
It took a while for Lexi to process Ayre's words. For the doctor, the idea that Lord Vorn was just an unspecial human blew her mind.
"Our lord's soul remains the sa, right? Be it here or in that world." Lexi Gulped. "It's possible that the soul retains the mory of Lord Vorn's power. So, in the end, his power will be active again, although it might take so ti."
"Hiana can attack at any ti." Ayre leaned her back against the tree. "And even if Lord Vorn can recover his power, he would lose again to that demon woman."
Lexi felt a chill hit the back of her neck. During this ti, she imrsed herself in work. She didn't want to overthink about how desperate this situation was.
"Then do you have a solution?" The doctor's voice began to shake.

Slowly, Lexi's eyes widened. "Is that even possible?"
"Basically, ragmonuk tal isn't real tal. They are made from demon cells that we grow, then specially process. So, theoretically, it's compatible with any demon. And with the right thod, those things can increase the power of the demons many tis…. But that would only work on high demons like Lord Vorn." The shapeshifter general massaged the point between her eyebrows.
"Do you know what the risks are?"
"That's the problem." Ayre wore a bitter smile. "There are too many variables. I don't know what kind of risks there are. Every demon is unique. The reactions that occur may be different for each individual. And perhaps this thod can cause extre pain, or maybe death."
"You want to ask to join this project, do you?" The doctor's lips began to tremble.
"Yes…. I need your help as an expert in demon anatomy." Ayre continued. "But you might see a lot of horrible things. We'll be using our own people for the experint, after all. Will you be able to survive that?"
Instantly, Lexi felt like sothing was pushing from her throat. She wanted to vomit and had to desperately hold back.
But that doesn't an her heart is full of doubts. "I'm willing to do that for lord Vorn."
The shapeshifter general's smile widened. "I didn't expect you to answer so quickly. Thanks."
"I will do anything for lord Vorn." The doctor looked at the prospective mbers of the police force. "Just like you girls always do."
Ayre chuckled again. "We both love a troubleso man."
Lexi took a few steps forward, putting her hand on her chest. "What do you think Lord Vorn over there is like? What kind of world does he live in?"
"You will see the real lord Vorn when he gets here." The shapeshifter general answered. "As for the world, I'll tell you about it later. According to my calculations, this ritual can only bring 3 individuals between dinsions. as the one who will perform the magic, Velvet as the wielder of the dragon's power, and Lord Vorn himself when we return here."
"Are you excited to see that other world as a scientist?"
