Velvet dodged the earthen doll's stab by ducking. Then, she attacked with her claws.
She gasped when her claws didn't leave a mark on the enemy's body. On trying again, she also gets the sa result.
That golem's body was extrely hard, surpassing even tal.
Velvet was forced to jump back as far as possible. And that's when she saw that the golem figure was similar to herself right down to the last detail, from her hair, face, body, and armor.
Even the golem's movents looked like a dance, so graceful and beautiful. That thing really emulates the prophet and is very different from ordinary golems whose movents tend to be stiff.
"You used my appearance!?" Velvet dodged the earthen doll's attacks again. "I know my own moves…."
Velvet's words were cut off because she had to dodge a stab towards her face. She could see the rapier pass inches from her cheek.
That earthen doll was actually faster than her.
"I don't want to hurt you, Vel! Stop this foolish thing!" Candice cries out. "Co to your senses. You have killed a lot of innocent people!"
"Yeah, I feel bad doing that!" Velvet tried to attack again, but the result was still the sa. "But at least I'm not torturing them like those governnt people that hurt Adrian!"
"But there must have been a lot of people who were injured, lost their hos, and lost their loved ones!" Candice's tears flowed even harder. "They are also suffering! How are you different from the one who tortured Adrian!?"
"Whatever!" Velvet just kept dodging the earthen doll's attacks. "You can call a demon if you want! I don't care anymore! I am no longer a prophet who is an example for humans!"
Candice was about to argue again, but she restrained herself and bit her lip instead. Looks like it's still hard to talk to Velvet now. The prophet's emotions were still unstable.
The dragon woman must be defeated first.

"Arggghhhh!" Velvet scread, full of rage, and the golem finally managed to stab her in the shoulder, pushing the prophet against a house fence.
Instead of whimpering in pain, that woman let out a beast-like roar. Its claws glow orange like embers, and when used on the golem, they can finally penetrate the opponent's body.
And then, Velvet shot a fireball from her mouth. The resulting explosion sent the golem through the air before landing just a few feet from Candice's feet.
The mage could only gulp and held her magic staff tightly. The golem's chest was filled with holes and smoking from Velvet's hot claws. That shouldn't have happened because this earthen doll was so hard and dense.
The prophet let out another deafening roar, and Candice got goosebumps. Is that woman still the Velvet she knows? Or has that woman beco a monster entirely?
Candice got her golem up again, and Velvet ran for a hard attack. There was a fierce battle. This ti, Velvet can compete with that earthen doll. She repeatedly thrust her claws into that golem's body, though it barely had any effect. That thing can't feel pain, after all.
anwhile, thin wounds started decorating the dragon woman's body, but she instead beca more aggressive. It's like the injuries gave her more energy.
That brought Candice to tears again. Velvet's movent still looks like a dance, so beautiful. Every attack, body twist, and jump from the prophet was soft but quick and deadly.
However, there are vicious elents from the prophet's movents this ti. Candice even felt a strong killing aura from her best friend.
Is there no hope anymore?
Velvet dug her claws into the golem's body, lifted her opponent, and threw it into the air. Then, she fired a series of fireballs at that earthen doll.

After another roar, Velvet ca to that building. The chunks of the building moved, and the golem bounced out.
The prophet gasped when she saw her opponent. The golem's body was burnt in several places due to being hit by the fireballs from Velvet. Not only that, but its appearance had also completely changed.
That thing no longer resembled Velvet. It looks more like a man with normal clothes.
"What is the aning of this, Candice!!!" Velvet looked back at her best friend. "Why did you make this thing look like Adrian!?"
"Co to your senses, Velvet!" Candice was crying again. "Forget to be a prophet! I want my best friend Velvet back!!! I know you can do it, Vel!!! You didn't attack , even though there were many opportunities!!! You're not completely a monster!!!"
Velvet didn't answer. Yes, even now, she can shoot a fireball at Candice, though they are so far away. If the mage falls, then this golem will also be destroyed.
However, Velvet chose not to.
Suddenly Velvet felt a long, sharp object stab into her left thigh, giving her intense pain and forcing her to her knees. She looked again at the golem, which had just stabbed her in the leg with the rapier.
"Arrggghh!!!" Velvet scread in pain as another Earthen rapier stabbed into her right arm.
"Please, Velvet…." Candice let out a muffled groan, and her breathing grew heavy. "Enough, I don't want to hurt you more than this…. Listen to , please…. It's not you, Vel… Rember your mom too…."
However, the prophet roared again, and the claws on her left hand started to glow orange again.
