The door to the room opened with a low creak. A woman with long wavy black hair entered. She carried a tray with a cup of tea and bread.
"You should rest, honey." She went to the mayor, the man with blonde hair and a sturdy build. "It's already too late."
Mayor Karl flashed a smile. "In a mont, Anne."
She sighed, placing the cup and plate of bread from the tray onto the table. "I'm worried about your health."
"I understand your concern." Karl gently stroked Anne's cheek. "But, this is my duty as mayor."
"I know. You've said it many tis." Anne held her husband's hand, then smiled faintly. "You are not mine alone but belong to this city as well."
"You should rest too, darling." Karl stood up and kissed Anne's forehead gently. "I don't want your pretty face wrinkled because you don't get enough sleep."
Anne gave another smile. Holding back tears, she sighed again, "I'll be waiting for you in our room, honey."
And that woman finally leave.
Karl sat down again and took a sip of his tea. His body and mind were tired, but that didn't an he hated his job.
The people of this city like him. Although so oppose his governnt, their numbers are insignificant. His wife is also lovely and caring. Karl loved her very much, even though their marriage was due to the politics of two noble families.
No matter how many nightmares he had in his sleep, he would not lose this happiness.

Charlia knew Karl was loved. All day, she asked so of the residents of this city about what they think about the mayor.

Karl squeezed his head.

The mayor's body began to shake.
