Chapter 57: Learning To Use His Wings (3)
“I did it Vera!”
With the uncontainable, bubbling excitent surging inside him, Blake’s body acted on instinct as he wrapped the beautiful demoness inside his arms.
Blake was genuinely too happy and excited to think about his actions right now as his face would already glow as bright as lava if he were to realize what he had done.
But Blake wasn’t the only one who was overwheld by emotions.
Vera, who was on the receiving end of Blake’s bear-hug was beyond flabbergasted when she suddenly received the sudden all-out hug that wrapped around her whole body.
It was an unusual feeling for her.
Being hugged with such sincere and raw emotions carried behind the gesture, she had never felt that in her whole life.

It was an unusual and a new feeling for her, but she didn’t dislike even one bit of it.
Vera just froze in place as Blake’s arms wrapped around her back, his chest on hers, and his face next to hers.
She genuinely didn’t know what to do in such a situation and just stayed still before she finally looked at Blake’s face which was brimming with unfiltered happiness that surged out of his wide smile.
Seeing that kind of expression, Vera also felt the happiness that Blake felt and she unconsciously raised her left hand and put it on Blake’s head while her right hand was rubbing Blake’s back.
“Yes, yes, little Blake, congratulations, you did it,” Vera said as she gently patted Blake’s head and rubbed his back.
Vera’s soothing voice traveled straight into Blake’s ears which were literally beside her mouth, and it soon registered in Blake’s mind.
And her voice apparently caused quite a strong reaction as Blake quickly woke up from his excited state and realized what he was currently doing.
Noticing that his body was literally glued against Vera’s, Blake’s body froze for a split second before he quickly jumped backward using almost all of his strength, resulting in him almost losing his footing when he landed about 6 ters away from his previous location.
Blake’s ears now would be as red as a tomato, only one level below from glowing like burning lava, but of course, it wasn’t visible with Blake’s current skin being jet black in color.
However, that didn’t an he could hide his embarrassnt as he couldn’t even utter a single word out of his mouth and only looked at Vera dumbly with his mouth opening and closing, seemingly trying to say sothing, but failing horribly.
Blake tried to say sothing about what he did earlier, possibly apologize if he ever made Vera uncomfortable but seeing the demoness was practically holding back her laughter from escaping from her mouth, Blake decided to not talk about it and just replied,
“No! As I’ve said before, I am not a kid anymore!”
“Yes, yes, I understand, little Blake, now co here and let big sis teach you how to use your wings.” Vera smiled with such a sweet face that Blake’s mind almost went blank for a mont.
“No! I am not a kid!” Blake replied as he started making his way over to Vera.
He didn’t want to be called a kid, but he still wanted to learn to use his wings. So he swallowed his pride for now and decided to co over.
‘I will definitely get her back for this...’ Blake promised himself as he stared at Vera’s smiling face that twitched from ti to ti, indicating that she was still, in fact, holding back her laughter.
With Blake walking in defeat toward Vera, the two of them then searched for a slightly bigger clearing before they started the lesson to control Blake’s wings.
And it didn’t take them too long to find the place that was perfect for their training.
A clearing where Blake could run in a straight line for about 7 seconds straight, which was a lot considering his demon physique, and it also had 15 ters tall trees surrounding the clearing, Vera decided that it would be the optimal place that they would use to train.
“So... Will you just fly up and throw off a cliff like how a momma bird teaches their chicks to fly?”Blake timidly asked as he imagined himself falling from 100 ters in the sky.
“No, you will die,” Vera replied shortly.
“Haa...” Blake patted his chest while releasing a sigh of relief.
“I will do that later, but not now, you won’t be able to do anything even if I force you to use your wings.” Vera suddenly continued, making Blake release an audible gasp from his mouth.
“For now, you can just listen to my instructions and try to do what I told you to do,” Vera said as she circled around Blake and stopped at Blake’s back.
Blake was about to ask her what she was about to do, but suddenly felt Vera’s hand on his back, specifically in the middle of his back, right in between his two wings, and heard her voice saying,
“Try to feel the muscles that I press with my fingers.”
Blake stopped his mouth from opening and decided to close his eyes instead and focused on the sensation of Vera’s finger that ran through his back.
Moving slowly from the dead center of his back, Vera started to slowly trace her finger really slowly around Blake’s back.
Using the pressure of her finger, Vera showed Blake where all the muscles that were used to control the wings were located.
She traced her finger gently upward, giving a tingly feeling that spread all over Blake’s body, before stopping at a certain spot, about an inch below his neck.
“The muscles around here are the ones that you use to lock the position of your wings. If you want it to stay unmoving at a certain position, you need to contract the muscles right here.”
Vera said while moving her finger up and down in that sa spot, which intensified the tingly sensation that Blake felt on his body.
“Why don’t you try and make your wings stay locked in position?” Vera whispered as she kept her finger on Blake’s back.
With the help of the tingly sensation that he felt and the actual pressure that Vera gave with her finger, Blake was able to find the muscle that he needed to make a mind-muscle connection with and tried to consciously control it.
It was quite hard at first as he had never tried to flex the muscle on his back, but with the help of Vera’s guidance, Blake was soon able to make the connection with those particular muscles and succeeded in making his small wings stand up and locked in place.
“Good job getting your wings hard,” Vera said as she pulled away her finger from Blake’s back and just stared at Blake’s erect wings.
Blake wanted to ask whether it was all that he needed to do to train his wings, but he once again swallowed his words as he suddenly felt another stimulation on his back.
And instead of one finger, this ti, Blake could feel Vera’s finger touching two sides of his back.
“Now let’s learn how to make it bend and move,” Vera spoke once again as she moved her two fingers around Blake’s back again.
