"Replying to His Majesty, this slave has always followed your instructions and teachings. However, as it is His Majesty that is issuing the task, the slave dares not think too much. This life was given to this slave by His Majesty! Even if I lose my life in service to His Majesty, this slave would be willing. So, there was never a need for to think much," Cang Tian said solemnly.
"He he he…" the hoarse voice chuckled. "Looks like you have learned to speak eloquently in the past few centuries, eh, Little Tian? Nevermind that. The task I am assigning you is very important to . In fact, if I am not imprisoned here, I would have handled it myself personally."
Cang Tian's face changed upon hearing those words. With the identity of His Majesty, the task that he wanted to handle personally wouldn't be sothing trivial. This showed how important this mission was. Cang Tian's face couldn't help but beco solemn.
"This task is simple. It can either be easy or incredibly difficult. I don't know how long this would take. This might take even centuries for you to accomplish. This might even end up in failure or put your life at risk. Are you willing?" the hoarse voice didn't hide anything.
"This slave is willing, my lord!"
"Hmmm, in that case, listen carefully," the hoarse voice sounded unusually serious. "I want you to find a person. I don't know where this person is at the mont. He may be in the countless higher worlds or even in a lower world. He may be even in a planar world, for all I know. But, I want you to find this person and bring him to as soon as possible."
"This slave will see it done, my lord. How will I identify this person? Are there any special things I need to take note of?" Cang Tian asked seriously.
There was no reply to his questions. Even for soone like Cang Tian, finding a single person amidst countless worlds will be like searching for a needle in a haystack. This was no ordinary feat. And the owner of the hoarse voice knew it too.
"Sigh… I never thought my life would beco so miserable, heh…" the hoarse voice said a little self-deprecatingly causing a complex emotion to flash through Cang Tian's face. "Cang Tian… a successor has appeared in my bloodline…"
The hoarse voice didn't say anything else. However, Cang Tian's face showed incredible shock at this mont. He knew how big this matter was. No wonder His Majesty said he would have gone out personally if he wasn't imprisoned here.
"I want you to find him and bring him to . You should know how many people will not want that to happen. If this information is leaked, then there will be a hunt across the worlds for my successor. You should know the seriousness of the task now," the hoarse voice said a little lancholically.
"My Lord, even if I die, I will bring the Young Master ho!" Cang Tian vowed solemnly.

"My lord, if that happens, you will never recover," Cang Tian said a little unwillingly.

Cang Tian soon left the place leaving the land to once more beco silent. As a breeze flew through the region, a soft coughing sound could be heard inside the mound. From the sound, one could tell that the person who coughed was in extre pain.
"I hope that giving away my origin blood would benefit my successor. Heavenly Emperor, you are really ruthless enough to call upon the Great Tribulation. Ha ha ha… those old foggies will be flustered by now. Nice move. But, can you hold onto your advantage for a long ti? A single mistake could cause the Heavenly Court to be destroyed.
