Chapter 861: Chapter 662: Fifth Tier and Saint Heir Advent

There was no imagined thrill or majestic peak upon peak.

Because beneath Hillrenes’ clothes, what was hidden wasn’t a voluptuous figure.

But large patches of mosaic.

Uh… though it’s just a taphor, describing the exposed parts of this woman’s body as mosaic is indeed quite fitting.

Roger gripped the weapon in his hand tightly, utterly confused as to why Hillrenes would show him these things.

The hazy glow completely obscured the contours of this woman’s body, like staring directly at a chandelier. The basic shape could be vaguely discerned, but the more one tried to focus, the stronger the interference beca.

Besides, no normal person would stare at a lamp for no reason.

So, after a few seconds, Roger had no choice but to lift his gaze and refocus it on Hillrenes’ face.

At least that face was truly breathtakingly beautiful. Compared to the bulb-like body, the room for imagination it left was actually far greater.

“Ahem, you’re showing this…”

Roger began to speak, but before he could finish, the light surrounding Hillrenes expanded outward, filling the space within a hundred ters around them.

In the next mont, the woman’s body naturally disassembled, the intersecting lights before his eyes weaving and fragnting until, before long, a scarred Silver Dragon appeared in Roger’s view.

Compared to the last ti they t, the wounds on Hillrenes’ body had beco even more nurous, and the liquid seeping from around her injuries wasn’t blood, but a silver, softly glowing substance.

“What you see is rely a projection ford by my true body here. It holds no real power. If you wish, you could shatter it with a wave of your hand.”

Hillrenes’ voice erged from the dragon’s mouth.

“I got one thing wrong—you indeed aren’t that crow, but rather that stubborn fool…”

“Yet this is truly an unexpected surprise. You co from the Western World, but can still obtain Spiritual Power in the Everworld. Additionally, your strength is nearing the threshold of the Fourth Tier.”

“I think we might be able to strike a deal.”

Roger remained silent.

It was clear that Sword Master Cold Crow had dealt Hillrenes a significant blow. He had forged his blade over a century, with all his preparations culminating in one final act of rebellion.

Though ultimately a failure, he not only gravely wounded Hillrenes but also must have triggered latent vulnerabilities within her, compelling this proud creature to change her mind.

All of this didn’t quite feel like an elaborate sche.

But truth be told, Hillrenes’ transformation happened far too quickly. It wasn’t long ago that the two had been at each other’s throats, with the woman vowing to cause Roger trouble with unwavering confidence.

And yet, look how little ti had passed.

The creature before him seed to have abandoned the past grievances entirely, her words carrying not a shred of animosity.

This results-driven, emotionless behavior only heightened Roger’s wariness of her.

“Young Demon Hunter, are you going to refuse?”

Hillrenes’ voice echoed as her massive Dragon’s Eye stared at Roger.

“As you can see, I’m gravely injured, and you’re not that crow. The lost portion of my power cannot be reclaid, and goodwill from soone at the Fifth Tier…”

“…isn’t sothing that can be so easily obtained at any given ti.”

“With the power you now possess, you’ve essentially earned the right to understand this world. The fact that you can harm isn’t because you’re so powerful or because that crow is so extraordinary.”

“It’s because I am currently far too weak.”

“A true Fifth Tier is far mightier than you could ever imagine. Without my guidance and help, it could take you a hundred, even two hundred years, to find the door leading to the Fifth Tier.”

As light and shadows intertwined, the imnse body of the Silver Dragon vanished. Hillrenes’ form re-erged.

Gone was the blinding glow; she was now clad in a purple robe. Though the garnt was loose, the contours of her figure were discernible.

“I have no interest in the matters of the Everworld. From the day I left, I had no intention of returning there.”

Roger tested the waters carefully as he spoke, harboring his own considerations deep within. In truth, Hillrenes’ absolute power outweighed his own by a wide margin.

Without the ans to counteract such power, Roger certainly wouldn’t court trouble of his own accord.

His underlying intention was to draw a line between himself and Hillrenes.

However, so of Hillrenes’ propositions had indeed piqued his interest.

His current strength had nearly reached its peak. Naturally, his next steps required more careful planning. Even if the woman’s deanor made him wary, hearing her out couldn’t hurt.

“In the Western World, those with inherited bloodlines lead lives that are extraordinarily long, but even then, it’s only relative.”

“Trust , no one ever feels like they’ve lived long enough.”

Hillrenes seed to speak with a hidden aning. “Though our lives are long, countless matters demand an exorbitant investnt of ti.”

“Your current power hasn’t fully reached its limits. Once you elevate yourself further and ascend to your peak, you’ll need to consider the World Fragnts required to step into the Fifth Tier.”

“Do you know how to fuse World Fragnts?”

“Do you know which World Fragnts can be fused, and which ones carry fatal flaws?”

Hillrenes fired off question after question, but Roger could only respond with silence.

“I do. With my guidance and help, I can save you an enormous amount of ti. Without it, decades or even a century could amount to nothing.”

“For beings like us, the path ahead—every single step—must be precise. Every misstep will demand a price in the years to co.”
