Chapter 858: Chapter 661: The Dragon’s Deal

“Amanda…”

Looking at the familiar figure enveloped entirely in flas, Roger was utterly stunned.

“You’re not…”

Before he could finish his sentence, the searing flas surged, consuming Roger’s body and instantly reducing his clothes to nothing.

Amanda, with a hint of dominance, wrapped her arms around Roger’s neck, her crimson lips silencing the remainder of his words.

The night was enchanting, and under the blaze of the flas, the two laid themselves bare to one another.

In such a mont, words were clearly superfluous.

“Still the sa familiar taste, still the sa familiar formula,” Roger murmured with genuine emotion.

“It seems the Western World really suits my personality better.”

The banquet in the hall continued, while Roger basked in the long-lost fervor.

The night passed without another word.

Morning.

The first rays of sunlight pierced through the mist and illuminated the room at the top of Kaer Morhen.

Roger opened his eyes and imdiately spotted a snow-white figure, draped in a translucent veil, sitting with her back toward him.

Amanda sat on the chair, arms resting in front of her, seemingly gazing into the distant scenery.

From Roger’s angle, only an exaggerated…

“Henrik said you had business in Europe.”

This was the first complete sentence exchanged between the two since last night.

“I’ve been traveling to many places recently and had the surprising chance to et so individuals who share a similar lineage with .”

“Dragonborn, huh,” Roger said, frowning.

After the events surrounding Hillrenes, Roger had developed many opinions about the so-called Dragonborn.

Amanda turned her head. The thin gauze did little to obscure her remarkably flawless figure, and compared to before, her transformation was nothing short of earth-shattering.

“You’ve reached Fourth Tier,” Roger said with so surprise.

“Do you rember the Land of the Dragonborn I ntioned to you?” Amanda asked.

“Is it the mory that awakened automatically when you reached Third Tier?”

Amanda nodded. “When I ascended to Fourth Tier, those mories beca even more vivid, along with so additional fragnts.”

Before she finished speaking, a thumb-sized red scale appeared at the center of Amanda’s forehead.

The scale shimred with a dazzling glow. The mark seed not to have surfaced from the skin but rather grown directly from her skull.

“After reaching Fourth Tier, my power has grown rapidly. But at the sa ti, a voice occasionally appears in my mind.”

“I can’t quite make out what it’s saying, but sporadic gaps in my mory leave deeply uneasy. So I’ve been trying to find other Dragonborn to uncover the secrets within.”

“But with limited ti, the information I’ve gathered is minimal. The only thing I can confirm is the Land of the Dragonborn.”

“When are you planning to head there?” Roger asked directly.

“Very soon,” Amanda replied. “After my mother’s wedding.”

“Adeline’s wedding…” Roger rubbed his temple. Well, though it sounded odd, a daughter attending her mother’s wedding…

Hmm… definitely not sothing you see every day.

Afterward, Amanda briefly filled Roger in on her recent activities. She had joined a semi-official Magician organization.

It was a loose association of mbers, most of whom carried Dragonborn lineage. Due to the varying purity of their bloodlines, their power levels were equally varied.

Though a relatively new mber, Amanda’s abilities allowed her to narrowly reach the ranks of the association’s core mbers.

Among those she had t, there were a few whose strength surpassed hers. However, it was said that this was still far from the full extent of the association’s capabilities.

Beyond the tangible world, there still hid even greater Dragonborn powers.

Roger nodded; he could guess as much.

Just as the Western World had a counterpart to Everworld, it was likely there were similar hidden forces.

From appearances alone, this power lurking in the shadows was likely even greater.

As for Roger, excluding his weaponry, he belonged to the pinnacle of Fourth Tier, among the upper echelon of strength.

However, due to Black Moon’s unique properties, his attacks were capable of injuring Fifth Tier beings.

This placed his capability within a significant leap in power.

Without a direct comparison, even Roger himself couldn’t precisely gauge his limits.

After all, the Sword Master Cold Crow was an exceptional case within Fourth Tier. If not for being utterly countered by Hillrenes, his potential could have soared even higher.

The following days unfolded with an unusual calm, like a still lake. Higurashi Chika quickly moved past her sorrow. Accompanied by her, Goway and the others left Kaer Morhen to attend etings in other cities.

These low-level exchange gatherings held no interest for Roger. In fact, in recent tis, many Transcendent Forces, including the Hunters Guild, had been probing Kaer Morhen’s true power to varying degrees.

The strength of the Demon Hunters had yet to draw much attention, but the changes brought by Alchemy Potions were apparent to all.

Over ti, there would inevitably be those who entertained other ideas.

However, so far, the conflicts hadn’t escalated to a critical point, and Roger had not made any overt moves.

Currently, Kaer Morhen faced drastic polarization in its power structure. There were nurous Fourth Tier individuals, including Roger himself.

The rest consisted of low-level Demon Hunters.

The mid-tier section was entirely absent.

To outsiders unaware of the deeper workings, Kaer Morhen appeared to be a newly rising minor force.

But in truth, with the Transcendent power Roger now commanded—excluding those hidden forces in the shadows—he was fully capable of sweeping across all of Europe.

With such overwhelming strength in hand, Roger could naturally face everything with confidence.
