As the Nine-tailed Fox’s forepaw collided with Sword Master Fu Niu, Roger thrust forward the Sword of Destiny he held in his hands.
The angle wasn’t tricky, the sharp blade aid straight for the Nine-tailed Fox’s forehead.

Sword Master Fu Niu bellowed, his foot shattering the stone tiles beneath and sinking into the ground, transmitting his power outward, causing the earth and stones around to roll, and he alone withstood the attack.

The flash of the sword, at the very instant Sword Master Fu Niu’s and the Nine-tailed Fox’s powers clashed, the Sword of Destiny pierced the Nine-tailed Fox’s forehead.
But at that mont, a mocking gleam of human intelligence flashed through the orange eyes of the Nine-tailed Fox.

Its colossal body suddenly burst apart.
One by one, the tails erged behind it. Seeing this, Roger wasn’t panicked; instead, he wore a slight smile.

The Nine-tailed Fox shrieked in agony.

Instantly, the raging Nine-tailed Fox fell silent.
The next mont, it let out a piercing howl, its body swelled, the remaining eight tails appeared in succession, but not long after, the rage on its body gradually subsided.
anwhile, a new tail began to grow from the stub of the severed tail.
Unlike the other eight tails, the new one was as black as night.
The Nine-tailed Fox convulsed and collapsed to the ground.
Not far away, Sword Master Fu Niu looked puzzled. He just couldn’t understand what Roger had done to the fox to make it end up like this.
He would have understood if Roger had killed the Nine-tailed Fox with a single sword stroke.
But now, how could a new tail grow from the wound?
He was finding it harder and harder to see through this young man before him; a few months ago, he was criticizing and instructing him.
