Seeing the money in the man’s hand, the figure in the shadows stiffened. The next second, the portly, sturdy body leaned over.

She was assaulted by revolting slls, but before she could even catch her breath, a force struck the back of her head. The man’s hand pressed down on her, smashing her entire face into the filth on the ground.

“What kind of monstrosity are you, trying to scare the life out of soone in the middle of the night?”
The portly man’s face turned scarlet, his eyes a mix of shock and anger.
As he had approached and pulled off the woman’s hood, he didn’t find the fiery red lips and attractive face he expected.
What confronted him was a ghastly visage.
Frightening scars ran from the woman’s mouth to her ear, her cheek was marked with coarse stitches, and her entire nose had been mutilated, revealing only two dark holes from the front.
