Chapter 411: Chapter 411 Giving Roses Leaves a Fragrance in the Hand Chapter 411: Chapter 411 Giving Roses Leaves a Fragrance in the Hand After leaving Glastonbury, Roger and his companions did not linger in Engelman but directly returned to Eld.

A few days later, upon returning to the manor in Dublin, Roger felt a long-absent sense of intimacy, as if this place had beco his ho.

The manor was empty; Claudia had gone sowhere unknown, and although Henrik and Goway had not experienced the final battle,

they had also expended much of their energy within the ancient castle and each went back to their rooms shortly after returning.

Roger had sustained so injuries. A part of them had been mostly healed with the help of his dark powers, and the remaining small portion was recovering at an extrely fast pace with the enhancent of his robust physique.

He didn’t rest imdiately; upon entering the Shadow Cottage, he directly opened the Silver Manuscript in his room.

Having killed Bedivere and obtained the Silver Page from him, Roger was unclear what Bedivere had done to this fragnt of the Fairy Tale World.

He took out the mural that imprisoned a part of Stephen’s soul. As the mural shattered, Stephen’s soul was extracted and then reintegrated with his body.

“Next, take him sowhere peaceful to recuperate for a while, away from here, to a quiet place with no disturbances.”

Just as Roger had once guessed, Stephen had fallen into one of Bedivere’s fairy tale world stories and, by sheer chance, escaped from it; however, this was not a good thing for an ordinary person.

In the end, he still died within the story, and his soul, imprisoned by the manuscript, had more than usual.

Veronica saw so injuries on Roger and couldn’t help but worry, “What happened?”

“It seems you’ve been through a battle.”

Roger nodded.

“This isn’t sothing you should be involved in, not knowing is actually protecting you.”

“Go and rest, I’ve prepared your rooms for you,”

Roger consoled her.

“All has ended.”

“Roger…”

Veronica’s eyes glittered, and it looked as though she could cry at any mont, the emotions within them so clear even a fool could understand.

“Rest well,”

Roger gave her a comforting smile.

In fact, Veronica was rely feigning strength; she was already thoroughly exhausted.

That Roger was willing to lend a hand was more because of their acquaintance.

As for Veronica’s repaynt…

Ahem.

It wasn’t important.

After settling the Veronica siblings, Roger entered the Fairy Tale World again, this ti heading straight to the ruins of Sleeping Valley.

At the bottom of the ruins, a rose was growing quietly.

Determined, Roger thrust his hands into the soil and uprooted the rose with its roots and all. With a thought, he left the Fairy Tale World with the rose in hand.

But at this mont, a great oppressive force ca from the surrounding world, as if an invisible pair of hands resisted, resisting Roger from taking the rose out of this world!

“My mind is made up.”

Roger was almost entirely out of the Fairy Tale World. He reached out his other hand, and a pen appeared mid-air.

As paper fell, Roger wrote a new story, a story about the Rose Princess and Sleeping Beauty.

The Silver Page floating in mid-air twinkled incessantly, silver threads being drawn out bit by bit, with all the light converging, slowly taking a new shape.

“What are you doing?”

Goway’s voice ca from outside the door.

Roger turned and smiled, “Since I promised you, I must follow through.”

“You will destroy that world!”

Roger shrugged nonchalantly, “But I can help you.”

Goway was visibly moved.

The next second, the silver threads snapped, and the manuscript in Roger’s hand completely changed to another color. The splendid light faded, and the old paper gained several silver threads.

The quality of the manuscript dropped several levels consecutively.

And in Roger’s hands, there appeared a rosebud ready to bloom.

“This is for you.”

“Cultivate her as your companion plant.”

Goway’s eyes shimred, seemingly making up her mind. She no longer hesitated and reached out to take the rose from Roger’s hand.

At the sa ti, a green light blossod on Goway’s forehead, and a complex pattern flashed within it.

The next second, the rose sprouted green roots which pierced through Goway’s wrist and grew rapidly within her body, spreading throughout her entire body along her blood vessels in an instant!

The rose on her hand disappeared, and on Goway’s forehead, a budding flower appeared inconspicuously.

“I feel like she is inside ,” Goway said.

Goway closed her eyes.

“Just like my own child,” she added.

She opened her eyes, revealing an expression of boundless joy, “Thank you, Roger. Thank you for letting have her.”

Roger’s mouth twitched slightly. Although their conversation was completely normal, he always felt there was sothing odd about it.

“You deserve it,” he said.

“No, without you, I would probably never have been able to have her.”

“Next, I need to return to my clan for a while. Nurturing this life requires a strong energy that I cannot provide on my own,” she explained.

“Maybe by the next ti you see , I will already be a Third Tier Secret Blood Witch.”

“Could I invite you to attend the corresponding ceremony then?” she asked.

Goway’s face showed a trace of quirkiness, but at this mont, Roger was not fully focused on that. He nodded noncommittally.

“No problem. Just let know in advance when you are ready to hold the ceremony,” he said.

“I will definitely be there.”

“Great!” Goway exclaid, cheeks blushing slightly.

“It’s a promise.”

Watching the girl leave, although he lost a Silver Manuscript page, Roger did not care too much about it.

Valuables are great, but the bond between friends is even more important.

He noticed that the friendly relationship between Goway and him was also updated to a very high level on the notice board.

That satisfied a certain specific requirent.

“Amanda is definitely taking one spot; now, who should I choose for the other: Goway or Henrik?” Roger pondered briefly.

The choice was made in an instant.

For such a simple question, any normal man would do the sa.

With no one to disturb him anymore, Roger’s mind shifted, and the next mont, he was in the Mist Hut, having seen a special tip on the notice board just now.

Taking out the yellow orb and armor fragnt obtained from Bedivere, Roger entered the Forging Room.

What surprised him was that the armor fragnt, looking almost indistinguishable from scrap iron, was deed to have so value in the Hunter’s Cabin.

More importantly, the weapon destroyed by the Cursed Sword in battle had triggered a new option in the Forging Room.
