Chapter 332: Chapter 332: Night of Desire Chapter 332: Chapter 332: Night of Desire In the room, Roger had chosen the necessary items, and the style of his costu was extravagant. When combined, it perfectly matched the attire of a Demon Hunter from the ga.

He opened the box he carried with him, and from it, he retrieved the Cursed Sword. Normally, such a weapon wouldn’t be allowed to be brought here.

But this was hardly a challenge for Roger, who possessed the Axis Dharma Seal.

After disguising the Cursed Sword a bit, Roger reequipped it on his back. He didn’t need to disguise himself as anyone, as being a Demon Hunter was the best identity.

Looking in the mirror at the outfit that resembled Geralt from the ga, Roger let out a satisfied smile.

“Not bad, all I’m missing now is a mask,” he said.

He opened the checklist, intending to select a mask at random, but then his gaze was captured by the various masks on the computer screen.

The materials for the masks were completely different: so antique and majestic, so dark and mysterious, made of bronze or steel, of wood, and one could even find ghastly human skulls among them.

Each was very unique, and without exaggeration, anyone could find a mask to their liking here.

Roger had originally planned to pick a bronze mask designed like a wolf’s head, but after thinking it over he abandoned the idea and selected a baseball mask stained with specks of blood instead.

“Hmm, I’ve also been to Crystal Lake; disguising as the fad Crystal Lake Killer shouldn’t be too over the top,” he said to himself.

After he confird his choice, the mask wasn’t delivered to Roger’s room through so sort of service lift. Shortly after, there was a light knock at the door, and a coly female attendant arrived at Roger’s room with a black carrying case.

“Respected guest, please allow to personally complete your final decoration,” she said.

While she called herself an attendant, her appearance was that of temptation in a uniform, and Roger guessed that indescribable acts were happening in many rooms at that ti.

He did not refuse and watched as the girl opened the carrying case and took out a baseball mask.

The material of the mask was neither tal nor plastic; with just a glance, Roger could tell that it contained an aura of death.

This mask was made from white bone.

In the eye positions were embedded crystals made from unknown materials, which made it impossible for anyone to guess the emotions hidden behind the mask.

“May I check it?” he asked.

“That is your right,” she replied.

The attendant bent down and held up the mask with both hands, the gathered arms creating an exaggerated shape beneath her neckline.

Roger took the mask and quietly released a thread of spiritual power.

There were no Arrays embedded in it, nor any eerie aura; besides the material, the mask seed quite ordinary.

He nodded, the attendant took the mask back and fitted it onto Roger’s face.

There was no feeling of stuffiness he had expected, and although the cold edges pressed against his skin, eventually Roger felt as if he wasn’t even wearing an oddity on his cheeks.

“Sir, the masquerade ball is about to start. Would you like to enter now?” the woman said, lifting her eyes and gently biting her lower lip.

“Take to the scene of the ball,” Roger requested.

A trace of imperceptible disappointnt flickered in the woman’s eyes, but she quickly regained her composure, extended her hand to touch a tal panel on the wall, and scanned her fingerprint.

The entire wall sank inward, revealing a descending passage in front of Roger.

“This is an area that only you can enter,” she said, bending forward with a respectful bow.

“This is a night of desires that belongs only to you,” she added.

Roger stepped into the passage, and lights illuminated on either side of the stairs. The next second, the staircase began to move downwards automatically, taking Roger to a red wooden door.

Pushing open the door, a clamor of noise hit his ears, and he felt as if he had entered a world “where monsters roam.”

A mummified woman with her entire body wrapped, leaving only her chest exposed, a mage with an empty cloak and a magic wand in hand.

Among them was a woman who had only painted spider-like patterns on her body. Seeing this, Roger couldn’t help but curl his lip.

“What happened to civilized exchange?” he muttered.

Even a fool could tell what was going to happen next.

Alcohol, dance, intimate eye contact in a confined space, whispers in the ear—the next thing would be indescribable scenes.

If it was just this, it would be utterly boring.

“Hey buddy, you sure are dressed heavily. Aren’t you old enough yet?” soone teased.

“Are you really treating this as a costu ball?” the voice continued, with a slightly chanical synthesized tone. It seed that the masquerade didn’t restrict the attendees from interacting with each other.

Roger turned his head and saw a mountain of flesh wrapped in a white robe, with a ghastly mask covering the man’s face.

As for how Roger could tell the person’s gender.

Forget it, Roger really didn’t want to look a second ti.

It was an eyesore.

Just then, music started playing, the surrounding lights dimd, and pink smoke spewed from the ground.

The lights converged at the front of the stage, where a woman clad in a dress with cut-outs and rhinestones gracefully walked out.

“Martha…”

Even though she was wearing a mask, Roger recognized the woman instantly; what surprised him was the addition on Martha’s smooth back…

That pair of wings.

Black, wide bat wings.

Everyone in the room let out exclamations of amazent.

“My God, how did she do that?”

“They look so real.”

“Look, they’re moving.”

“Don’t tell they can actually make her fly.”

Roger kept quiet, his eyes beneath the mask turning into yellow, vertical pupils.

He was very certain, those wings were no disguise.

“Banshee? Succubus?”

“The masquerade begins officially, no revealing of true identities, no removal of masks, beyond the red door, rooms are prepared for all.”

“Of course, if you prefer, you may choose any place for interaction, the dining table, the dance floor.”

Martha pointed to the ground beneath her feet.

“Even here!”

As she spoke, she clapped her hands, and imdiately a large group of n and won erged from behind her.

These people were dressed in bizarre clothing, the only thing different was the masks on their faces.

Like molds made of paraffin, smooth, rigid, lifeless.

“If it’s not entertaining enough.”

Martha pointed towards an ancient wood door behind the stage.

“Go there, all your desires will be fulfilled!”

With a clap of her hands, Martha’s voice seed to resonate in one’s ear.

“Enjoy to your heart’s content!”

That sentence seed to flip a switch, and the next mont, the entire hall beca chaotic.

It was unclear if it was the desires from within being aroused or the peculiar music and mist, but everyone in the room went wild, nearly beast-like.

Roger stood where he was, already sensing the abnormality of the place, and at that mont, Martha on the stage walked towards him with asured steps.

With every step, rhinestones fell from her body, and by the ti she reached in front of Roger, her cut-out outfit was almost transparent.

Her voice ca through unaltered by the mask, crisp and pleasant.

“Mr. Geralt, have you been waiting for here?”

Roger smiled.

“I am quite a calm person by nature, not too interested in this sort of thing.”

“That’s okay.”

Martha pointed towards the wooden door at the end of the stage.

“Push open that door.”

“Inside, you’ll find everything you want.”

Her voice was full of endless temptation.
