Chapter 318: Chapter 318 Little Red Riding Hood? Chapter 318: Chapter 318 Little Red Riding Hood? “Alright, let’s set off.”

After persuading Amanda, Roger and his companion returned to the manor to take their corresponding equipnt and then headed to the designated location for their mission.

The address given by the Sorcerer Academy wasn’t too far from Blair County, so the two first took a ride to a nearby town and after getting prepared, they entered the forest.

At this mont, in the depths of the forest, Layhader seriously took out a page from the box.

The entire box seed to be enveloped in a special energy, but the yellowed pages inside showed no change.

However, as soon as Layhader took that piece of paper out of the box, in an instant, crimson writing began to appear on the blank page.

[16—Little Red Riding Hood]

“Once upon a ti, there lived a happy and lively little girl in the forest. Her grandmother loved her so much that she gave her a little red riding hood made of swan’s down.”

“The little girl loved the hood so much that she didn’t want to take it off for a mont, whether she was eating, sleeping, or doing anything else, she always wore that little red hood.”

“As ti went by, the little girl grew bigger and bigger, but strangely, the little red cap on her head, as if it were alive, grew along with her age.”

“Until one day, the hood completely fused with her scalp…”

“A new rendition?”

Layhader muttered to himself, and the next second, the writing on the paper lted, the yellowed page turned into fragnts and disappeared into the air.

There was no change in the scenery before him, but Layhader knew that sowhere in the forest, an entrance to a new world had opened.

He gently blew on the whistle, conveying the ssage that everything was ready, a signal to Matt that the examination could officially begin.

“Little Red Riding Hood.”

Layhader whispered.

“Looking at the situation, this examination seems quite difficult, I wonder if those two kids can…”

As he was speaking, his expression subtly changed. A strange energy seed to be circling and surging in the forest, and Layhader had a bad feeling.

He always felt that sothing unknown had changed.

At this ti, Rober and Inola had already been walking in the forest for a while. Rober was becoming less and less patient, his pupils had turned completely yellow, and he looked around alertly.

“Do you feel any change in the surroundings?”

Rober looked up.

“It seems to have beco sowhat overcast.”

“Has it?”

Inola apparently did not think so.

“Could we have already entered the territory of the Sipigeng…”

Rober was speaking when suddenly a light sound ca from the depths of the forest. He was startled and couldn’t help but step back.

Pierce!

The sound of slicing through the air followed, and then an arrow landed in the ground at his feet, its feathered tail vibrating.

“Who’s there?”

A cool voice ca from the darkness, and Rober relaxed his taut muscles slightly. The yellow glow in his eyes intensified as he looked carefully into the depths of the forest.

“Rustle.”

The branches parted, and a tall figure appeared at the edge of the forest, a beautiful girl with a head full of golden hair.

Her wavy hair casually tied at the back of her head gave her a neat appearance, her long eyebrows furrowed together as she watched Rober with wariness.

Her lips were slightly pursed, revealing the girl’s resolute character.

She was wearing a black bolero with a large hood on the back, and her body was clad in a tight hunter’s outfit that outlined her fine figure unreservedly.

Especially at the chest.

The laces tied with thin straps could not conceal the surging underneath, even in the dim woodlands, that milky whiteness was sowhat dazzling.

Inola’s expression also beca very cautious, “And who might you be?”

The golden-haired girl frowned slightly as the bow’s arrow tip drooped down a bit, “My na is Valerie, I am a hunter from Sword Horn Village.”

“My na is Rober.”

Rober revealed a charming smile, stepping forward and pointing to Inola beside him.

“This is my sister.”

“Sister?”

Inola’s cheeks trembled slightly. What kind of brother makes his sister do such things?

She shifted her body to block Valerie’s line of sight.

“Although this is my first mission, I have a basic understanding of the situation here. How could there possibly be villagers living in this place?”

“Don’t be nervous.”

Rober patted Inola’s forearm.

“In the forest, it is not uncommon to encounter humanoid creatures that sotis disguise themselves as humans. Such creatures are mostly friendly.”

As he spoke, Rober’s gaze never left Valerie, especially that alarmingly white color.

“You horny bastard,” Inola cursed under her breath. Rober was quite strong, but within his awakened bloodline, there lay the traits of an ancient python.

With serpentine lust, combined with Rober’s own predilections…

“We are travelers who have lost our way. Beautiful girl, where is your village?”

“It’s getting dark; can you take us there to rest a bit?”

“No.”

Valerie refused Rober without any hesitation.

She took a few steps back, then turned and bent over to pick up a basket from the woods.

Rober watched the curve of Valerie’s bending, the light in his eyes almost erupting.

“Calm down!”

Inola snapped sharply, and the air around them suddenly grew hot, her voice laced with the power of intimidation.

The glow in Rober’s eyes faded, and his reason returned.

“Don’t forget this is the territory of that Sipigeng. Who knows if it will attract a Banshee from the woods?”

“Don’t worry,” Rober said, eyes alert.

The next mont, his eyes flashed with a brutal light, “We could capture this girl and question her properly.”

“Maybe she can provide us with so clues.”

As for after the questioning, Rober felt it was necessary to alleviate his loneliness that night.

He walked slowly forward while thinking this.

“Miss Valerie, isn’t it dangerous for you to be out alone so late?”

“What are you planning to do?”

“Do you need our help?”

Valerie was bending over, seemingly picking sothing from the basket.

“No need.”

“I’m going to deliver so food to my grandmother. She doesn’t like seeing people…”

“Oh.”

By then, Rober had already walked behind Valerie, he let out a sinister laugh and slowly extended his hand of sin.

But just at that mont, a low growl ca from the bushes nearby, followed by a silver figure leaping out from the darkness.

“Bang!”

Rober, caught off guard, was knocked to the ground. He turned his head in panic, and a silver Werewolf over two ters tall pinned him firmly to the ground.

The ferocious maw opened wide, aiming for his throat.

Though startled, Rober remained composed; scales faintly appeared on his cheeks, and his muscles tensed for action.

But just as he was about to break free from the Werewolf’s restraint, a small foot in deer-skin boots kicked his way.

It was Valerie.

Her strength wasn’t great, but the kick landed precisely on the Werewolf’s nose. The Werewolf, in pain, teared up, whimpered, and retreated to one side.

“Are you alright?”

Valerie asked with concern.

“Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!”

Before her words had finished, a succession of whooshing sounds ca from the bushes, and several large Werewolves surrounded the trio!
