Slowly opening his eyes, Roger left the depths of his consciousness.
Ever since the fusion of the Shadow Cottage with the Tower of the World, Roger felt as if he had beco one with the entire world.
It’s not reflected in tangible increases in strength, but rather a wonderfully perfect harmony.
The Shadow’s Power acquired from Fernand was gradually absorbed and integrated by him, becoming part of his own strength.
The Shadow Gate beca even deeper, and additionally, so peculiar and quirky gadgets appeared in the room.
The power feedback from the shadows rged into the room, transford and absorbed by the Five Great Sword Seals, indirectly enhancing Roger’s base strength.
Correspondingly, the power burst after the transformation saw further growth.
"Are you ready?" Fasco asked tily.
Roger nodded, and then saw Fasco tear through the space, and the two disappeared from the temple.
A silent void.
Upon reappearing, Roger found himself in the vastness of space, standing on broken ruins, surrounded by boundless space.
"This is a floating World Fragnt."
"Next, we shall continuously leap through similar World Fragnts to avoid entering any main worlds," Fasco explained.
"We are now on the edge of the territory under the Dragon Court’s influence; once we leave here, most worlds are shrouded in mist, leaving traces upon entry and exit."
"What is our destination?" Roger inquired.
"The Sun Core."
"But it’s not the endpoint, only the entrance to where the Lord of the Mist stores his heart."
"Normal ans cannot reach there, so we must utilize the drifting World Fragnts."
Roger raised his head, a blurry eye manifested behind him, and after a mont, he shook his head helplessly.
Too vast, the capabilities of the Eye of Truth are limited, and within his sight, there was no landing point found.
"Don’t worry, there’s soone who can help."
As soon as these words fell, the ruins beneath their feet shook, and subsequently, the ground parted like water, creating a huge vortex out of thin air.
And out of the vortex erged two figures, one tall and one short.
The tall man had skin resembling green-gray rocks.
He wore an unusual mask, pieced together from five parts, not overly complex in design, yet each separated piece gave a sense of peculiarity.
Especially the mouth, which seed fused with his lower jaw, sealing his entire mouth tightly.
The other was a petite woman.
She wore a set of red close-fitting battle armor, exposing large areas of snow-white skin, and her height was estimated to be around just 1.6 ters.
She didn’t stand beside the man but sat atop the shoulder of the giant-like man.
"Daniella, Kain, this is Roger."
Fasco briefly introduced them.
"You’ve co just in ti, we’re about to leave the region covered by the Dragon Court and move toward the Sun Core."
"Leave it to ," said the petite woman, leaping into the air, her small body expanding rapidly, and along with it, changes occurred from the waist down.
A blue snake tail extended out, and in a blink, Daniella transford into a peculiar half-human, half-snake form.
She now stretched over ten ters, with her once complete features disappearing entirely.
Each hair flowed backward like twisted thin serpents.
Daniella spread her hands, covering her face, as a strange lody emitted, then upon uncovering her hands a bizarre vertical pupil appeared on her face!
Or rather, her entire head had transford into an eye.
A human-bodied snake-tail eye, indeed a peculiar sight.
"Don’t be surprised, Daniella is a rare Transcendent possessing true bloodline of the World Serpent."
"Though not a true All-Seeing Eye, it suffices for identifying the next landing point. Only her abilities can find a World Fragnt within the vast planes on which we can advent."
"I found it!" Daniella’s voice reverberated in everyone’s minds.
A marvelous feeling, as if one’s perception was extending infinitely, "Let’s set off."
Fasco raised his hand, enveloping the bodies of the four, then punched out.
Buzz!
Before him, every inch of space seed to transform into tangible matter.
Rippling like waves, layering and extending out exceedingly far.
This thod is far more skillful than violently tearing space apart.
The entire space seed converted into a pool of water, its waves vibrating, collapsing inward, drawing the bodies of the four into it.
"Be careful, the World Fragnts we reach next may not necessarily be as safe as here."
"It could be a wasteland, or it might imprison powerful creatures, who may not be overly strong, yet can cause trouble for our progression."
Fasco cautioned, then the fluid-like space enveloped the four, the massive pulling sensation abated, awareness returned, and the ruins vanished, replaced by an arid desert.
"Daniella, continue!"
Fasco commanded, subsequently leaping vigilant and surveying the surroundings.
"Found it, on the move!" Inford, Fasco reactivated his powers, but luck wasn’t as kind this ti.
As the four appeared, they were harshly struck by a hand as huge as a mountain.
Fasco reacted fastest, first layering up space barriers, then urgently reminding everyone.
