The three of them continued forward, and Roger witnessed a snowy landscape. However, the area was not completely covered by snow, and as they moved on, the presence of green increased.
"I’m the only one participating from here. Honestly, we’re closer to the Eastern Transcendent World, but there’s no way around it, as geographically, we’re still considered over there."
"Unless necessary, no one wants to face off against that old dragon."
Tersko humd disdainfully, and Roger glanced at Sonia. The latter explained, "Many years ago, there was a great cleansing in the entire Western World. Many opponents were slaughtered, and those who were left all chose to submit."
"That old dragon."
"He used bloody ans to subdue the entire Western World. You can think of him as the sole monarch, with others more like nobles dependent on him."
"However, he hasn’t been seen for many years now. His daughter, Alicia, is responsible for external communications, and it’s said she has constructed five cores."
Sonia explained.
"That woman is quite formidable, stronger than us, of course, but there are no shortage of strong individuals among other races either."
Tersko curled his lip, "But this ti there might be sothing interesting to watch. I heard soone completed the Quint-elent construction and beca a Ring Bearer!"
"This is a qualitative leap. It’s important to know that, as a Ring Bearer, that old dragon could slaughter in all directions many years ago."
"If it weren’t for so unexpected occurrences that curbed his expansion, we probably wouldn’t be seeing such a diversification of races now."
"Unexpected occurrences?" Roger asked.
Tersko nodded, "Speaking on this topic, I did hear so rumors. Back then, his power was overwhelming, and others simply couldn’t resist. In the sa piece of World Fragnt, a race known as the Atlas swore to resist to the last."
"If the information is accurate, even the Ice Bear bloodline in is a branch of that line." Tersko remarked nostalgically.
"But unfortunately, eventually, the entire race completely disappeared. So say they were exterminated, while others believe they hid in Different Space."
"But the important thing is, after that war, the guy’s expansion was significantly restrained. Other bloodlines gradually found balance and united, barely maintaining the current situation."
"So, it’s understandable why those who pride themselves as dragons detest ." Saying this, he glanced at Sonia.
"Of course, this doesn’t include you, my friend."
"The Atlas Bear..."
Faces from the past appeared before him, and Roger sank into a mory from the past. Although he didn’t say anything, his hand clenched slightly, making a firm decision within his heart.
"Do you know why he carried out that massacre?"
"Already being a Ring Bearer, nothing in the ordinary world should interest him, right?" Roger asked curiously.
"No one can say for sure, but so believe it was a nace left when he beca a Ring Bearer, requiring the sacrifice of massive amounts of life to activate so sinister ritual."
"Others think...he was looking for sothing."
"Because before us, there should have been an even more prosperous Transcendent era, but then sothing happened, causing the world’s rules to be damaged, leading to the creation of the current multi-layered world."
"Perhaps all the world fragnts combined would reveal the original appearance of our world."
Tersko wasn’t too sure either.
Roger nodded, for he sowhat agreed with this hypothesis. There were many signs suggesting that this place had been associated with shadows a long ti ago.
Additionally, he had learned so secrets of the Dragon Court, with individuals expanding outward, though what they were collecting remains unknown.
In the previous era, it’s very possible mbers of the Dragon Court had been here.
"For all they are First Ring Ring Bearers, why do you look so schadenfreude? After so many years, with the strong growing stronger, that dragon’s strength might be vastly different now."
Roger voiced his uncertainty.
By this ti, the temperature had risen, vast stretches of green were visible, glaciers thawed, and streams began to gently flow.
"You should know our world is a low-energy world, with considerable hidden dangers from the outset of its construction. Forget the Quint-elent, forming a stable Tri-elent structure is already a rarity."
"As for becoming a Ring Bearer, it’s more about luck than talent, but reaching that state and wanting to progress further..." Tersko shook his head.
"It’s too difficult, almost impossible here, and certainly not achievable in a short ti."
"So even if it’s just the beginning, the gap in strength between the two isn’t insurmountable. At this point, a bit of luck or other factor could be enough to tip the scales."
"Moreover, fighting between Fifth Tiers isn’t sothing that ignites easily."
"Without the confidence of a victory, no one would act rashly. Over the years, the fights held in the circular arena there have only numbered over a dozen, mostly for practice."
"Hehe, they won’t truly fight unless one side has overwhelming confidence in themselves!"
"But because of this, the situation has beco more delicate."
Tersko chuckled mischievously, shooting Roger a glance, "I heard from Sonia, you both have just entered Fifth Tier. Although I got here slightly earlier, I’ve just started filling the second unit structure."
