In the depths of the plane, the mist surged, with eight furnace-like buildings scattered around, energy converging at the center.

Behind these eight buildings was a dense network of energy.

"Heinris, you lost the soul domain you were in charge of, and you are the second one in the past millennium."

A dignified voice sounded.

"Because of your failure, the overlord’s awakening will be delayed..."

Heinris lowered his head, with a head full of cracks, "I’m very sorry, Lord Hamza, but the situation was special at that ti, that guy nad Roger..."

"I hate excuses, you’ve just made my mood worse."

Heinris moved his lips slightly but swallowed the words back.

Even though he was also an apostle, the First Apostle Hamza was stronger than any of them, absolutely dominant during the Lord of the Mist’s slumber.

"I’m very sorry."

"Accept the punishnt." One of the furnaces behind opened, within it danced the fire of souls, flas twisted with various forms.

Simultaneously, an invisible force was pressing down, causing Heinris to tremble with fear. He stood up suddenly, "No, you can’t do this to !"

"It was just a montary mistake, and the fault wasn’t mine. If I could return... Ah!"

Before he finished speaking, Heinris let out a miserable scream, his body thrown back, and before he could rise, a palm appeared out of nowhere, pressing hard on his head.

"You want to resist?"

"No..." Feeling the imnse power on his head, Heinris struggled briefly before completely giving up.

Eight buildings in eight directions represented the different soul domains controlled by the apostles.

The devoured souls were thrown into the lting furnace, re-fused and forged into more powerful combat weapons.

All of this, was in preparation for that day.

"Will you go yourself or shall I help you?"

"Kill !" Heinris breathed out, with the dignity of a strong man.

If he were to be fused with those things to create a stitched monster, he would rather face death.

"That’s not a good answer, everything you have cos from the overlord’s gifts, including death!"

A sudden force enveloped Heinris, and in the next mont, he was pulled into the furnace.

"No!"

A piercing scream ca, mixed with the sounds of compression. Who knows how long passed, the furnace flas gradually dimd, then a charred figure fell out.

Thud.

Like a burnt log, after a while, the ash on the surface peeled off, revealing Heinris’s original appearance in the writhing.

"Looks like it was a success."

"Go, take a group of Mist Envoys, find the guy you ntioned, and bring him to ."

Hamza said, and upon hearing his words, Heinris rely nodded blankly.

"All for the overlord." He saluted, then turned and left.

After Heinris left, the furnace that transford him gradually dimd.

"We’ve already found the torso. Once we find the hands, we can restore peak power."

"By then, all Dragonkind will be eradicated, including the Primordial Dragon."

Only a voice echoed in the void without a trace of anyone, then energy gathered together, and a head appeared out of nowhere.

On the forehead, a burning Sun Mark. If Roger were here, he would find this symbol very familiar.

Slender features, a sharp and thin chin.

"It’s been so long since I felt the sun on my skin."

"This ti we will surely succeed!"

...

From the top of the castle to the distant Mist Forest, every corner of Kaer Morhen was adorned and embellished, the entire castle subrged in a sea of joy.

The apprentices still studying there didn’t know what was happening. They only heard a familiar yet unfamiliar na.

Roger.

A founder, and the true master of this castle.

But this did not hinder everyone’s joy. After all, it’s a rare opportunity to relax, and no one wanted to miss it.

And since noon, they were surprised to discover sothing: those powerful figures rarely seen and recorded in the hand notes had gathered together.

Every ti the teleportation circle at the edge of the forest flickered, people couldn’t wait to peek, guessing and even betting on the matter.

"What’s going on, why does it seem like everyone is coming back on the sa day?"

"Is it because of that Roger?"

A young man asked sowhat confusedly, his companions exchanged a glance but only shrugged helplessly.

They had heard many stories about Roger and seen the statue standing in front of the castle, but just hearing about him without seeing him felt sowhat insubstantial.

Moreover, there were too many strong individuals in this castle, so over ti, people lost interest in these so-called stories.

"What do you know?"

A cold snort ca.

Speaking was a young man with green hair tied up.

"Mr. Rashir." The crowd greeted.

"I witnessed this lord’s growth all the way. The first ti he ca to our realm, he was just an insignificant transcendent, but next ti he grew to the point where one could only look up to him."

Rashir was handso, and when he spoke, no one dare interrupt. Obviously, his status here was not low.

As Goway’s fellow kind, he was one of the earliest mbers to beco a Demon Hunter, but Rashir was naturally indifferent and didn’t like competition.

So in the end, he stayed in the castle to guide the newcors.
