"Other than the master of the Dragon Court, no one can protect you."

"Could it be sothing else?"

Roger took a deep breath.

"I hope so too. If my guess is correct, after narrowly escaping this ti, you must rush to the core region controlled by the Dragon Court at the first opportunity."

"Because there, the power of the bloodline enshrouds, the will of the Primordial Dragon is the only one, and as long as you are careful not to disturb the true awareness of the Lord of the Mist, you are basically safe."

Roger nodded silently.

In fact, he had another guess, which was the avatar of the Lord of the Mist.

After all, the connection between them was too special to talk about to anyone.

If he were truly an avatar of the Lord of the Mist, then entering the core region controlled by the Supre Dragon Court would be tantamount to walking into his own trap.

This was indeed a dilemma.

"Don’t think too much for now, let’s work together to shatter this last obstacle!"

Emil steadied his emotions.

"Heinris’ pursuit could co at any ti, and even when leaving the World Fog, his power is incredibly strong."

Compared to the towering arm that blotted out the sky, Roger appeared pitifully small.

At this mont, Emil’s voice grew more somber, and then the massive dragon body following Roger that stretched for hundreds of ters began to change dramatically.

Scale Armor and bones twisted as Emil’s Remnant Soul curled into a crystalline mark, and soon Roger felt his vision elevate.

He seed to grow into a giant several dozen ters tall in an instant.

No, this was not an illusion.

He controlled his body with every movent of his arms and legs.

"What is this?"

Roger asked in confusion.

"This is the final stage of transformation, and also a manifestation of my abilities." Emil’s voice was full of self-deprecation.

"It’s ironic that the abilities I possessed were limited in power while I was alive, and yet they beco stronger after death."

"The way to achieve this is Dragon Body Transformation!"

Emil’s voice did not co from the heart.

Roger noticed that at this ti, his massive body was not covered in heavy armor but a layer of shimring Dragon Scales.

It seed that the entire flesh, bones, and muscles of Emil’s dragon body had been reassembled and were now attached to him.

anwhile, Emil’s soul was condensed within the crystal on his forehead.

The voice ca from there.

"Go and shatter him!"

Emil said.

Roger lifted his head to face the arm that blotted out the sky.

This ti, he did not evade but t it with a punch!

Boom!

Cracks appeared visibly on the deteriorated arm, and Roger rely swayed slightly. He instinctively wanted to draw a weapon but was imdiately reminded of his current situation.

"A weapon?"

Emil’s voice ca.

"You usually wield a Longsword, don’t you?"

As he finished speaking, a massive white Bone Sword appeared in Roger’s hands, with sharp bone spurs along the edge of the blade.

Clearly, the weapon in Roger’s hand must have been transford from Emil’s enormous dragon tail.

With his palm brushing across the Bone Sword, black flas ignited, Roger raised his hand to block the colossal impact and backhanded a slash!

Crack!

The massive hand was split in two, the residual force continued, seamlessly severing the forearm until the entire arm was completely destroyed.

"I didn’t expect it would be so easy!"

Previously, dealing with Roger was quite troubleso, but this ti, with his enlarged body, the battle ended in just a few breaths.

"Do not beco complacent, the battle is not over."

Emil’s voice ca.

"You’ve already started attracting the attention of the Lord of the Mist, and the more he focuses on you, the stronger the forces you will endure, until your existence fully awakens him."

"I ntioned, this exists between the real and the unreal."

"You destroyed it, but at the sa ti, you didn’t."

As Emil finished speaking, Roger saw that the arm he had clearly sliced off reappeared, even stronger than before.

No wonder this thing seed to follow him like a shadow, existing no matter how many worlds Roger traversed.

"Do not continue battling it here unless you’ve mastered the conversion between the real and the unreal, between soul and matter, or your abilities have advanced to an unknown dinsion."

"We remain on the periphery, destroy it and then leave." Emil reminded.

As his voice fell, Roger’s wings flapped, his massive body set into motion, continuously slashing the weapon in his hands.

Simultaneously, countless arms reached out from all directions.

Just as Roger cleared every arm within his sight, space abruptly contracted, a tunnel appearing amidst the ruptured arms, stretching infinitely far.

The sensation of being watched returned.

Massive eyes enveloped him, but unlike before, this ti, there seed to be a spark of recognition in the chaotic eyes.

It was as though soone startled from slumber.

"It is indeed him, we must go, or we will die here!"

Emil shouted.

Besides Roger and Emil, there was another person in the massive dragon body, trapped in slumber.

Kenneth.

He was nestled where the heart was, curled into a ball, even in the midst of violent shocks and battles, he did not awaken.

Just then, a voice suddenly ca.

"Trying to leave?"

Without needing to turn, Roger perceived his surroundings.

At the edges of the Mist, a twisted mass of flesh squird and crawled out.

Sli covered its entire body, except for a crystal-like head that revealed its forr identity.

The rest of its body appeared as though pieced together from different organs.

Clearly, the slash Roger delivered upon leaving had caused Heinris’ power to backfire upon himself.

"Ignore him, hurry!!"

Emil urged once more.

anwhile, Heinris also noticed the massive deteriorated arm and the piercing gaze at the end of the tunnel.

"This... is it?"

"Great master, do you descend to punish ?"

"Punish my failure!"

The mont Heinris finished speaking, the chaotic eyes regained so clarity, and a probing gaze was cast.

For just an instant.

The gaze crossed the vast distance, and as it settled, both space and ti around Roger nearly froze.

"Ro...ger... hurry..."

The thoughts emanating from Emil slowed to a crawl, Roger attempted to maneuver the massive body.

Yet his entire form felt as if sinking into a quagmire, with no sign of movent despite his efforts.

"What kind of power is this?"

"A single glance can freeze ti and space?"

As Roger pondered, he realized that, amidst the gradually clearing gaze, he alone could think clearly...

And even move.

Not even Heinris could do so.

In the next mont, Roger voluntarily relinquished this current state.

A fissure appeared in the middle of the massive Dragonkin form’s forehead, Roger’s figure flashed, instantly pulling Emil’s body away from its original position.

Swish!

The entire void seed as though a chunk had been carved out, along with the surrounding space, and an unsuspecting Heinris vanished on the spot.

Even though Roger exerted all his might, Emil was still affected, losing an arm and half a wing.

"What force is this?"

Roger was filled with shock.

"Run, get out of here quickly. No one can withstand the soul gaze of the Lord of the Mist!"

Only at this point did Emil finish his sentence, then saw his body oozing with blood.

"What happened?"

"Where did Heinris go?"

Though the crisis was temporarily averted, Roger remained deeply troubled.

Clearly, Heinris was not dead, soon enough, everything about himself and what happened here would be known to that mighty sovereign.

So next ti, when he traverses worlds, what will await his arrival?

And just then, that probing gaze returned, causing Roger’s expression to change drastically, dragging Emil as they fled away into the distance.
