Chapter 1038: Chapter 746: Finding the Body
Before climbing the mountain, Roger had thoroughly observed the surrounding environnt. They were on a solitary peak, surrounded by an ocean, and at least within his sight, he couldn’t see the end of the sea.
There was no moon in the sky, but it wasn’t completely dark. At least on the distant sea and sky, he could see faint glimrs of light.
But the reason he felt alert and hid was not due to the distant light, but the faintly discernible sounds in the darkness.
Those whispered murmurs seed to echo right beside him, but upon listening closely, they suddenly drifted away. No, it wasn’t long before Roger figured it out.
These specter-like sounds seed to be the wind in this environnt, their origin unknown, perating the entire world.
Perhaps they’ve always existed, only revealing themselves fully in the darkness.
A faint fissure appeared in the distant sky, and those wandering souls, like the wind, flocked to the crack one after another.
“Is this situation possibly the reason for the strange transformations occurring in Border City?”
“Is soul realm power leaking into reality, directly causing the souls of those affected to transform? Of course, for those with more resilience, there might be a chance to gain so benefits from it, completing an Initial Awakening to beco a Transcendent.”
“But most people are likely to be devoured by the wandering souls and beco terrifying monsters.”
“If that’s the case…”
“Does this an that at the edge of the fissure, maybe that’s where the body is located.”
“It shouldn’t be so simple. The upper levels of both countries wouldn’t miss this point. They might have found a way into the place that holds the body.”
“Is the fissure outside Border City possibly a gateway to the soul realm?” Roger wondered. Although his physical strength was formidable, he now knew this world held Fifth Tier Transcendents.
The direction of soul and physical body is different. Those evolving this way in the Fifth Tier always seem sowhat weaker compared to the path of bloodlines.
It’s like so sort of castrated version.
Shortcut taken, naturally requiring the sacrifice of so things.
The sky was utterly dark, and with determination in his heart, Roger knew he couldn’t stay here for long. In the soul realm, Immortals could unleash their full combat power.
The previous Tristramy suffered a covert loss, and another conflict, even if the opponent wasn’t skilled in attacks, would beco extrely troubleso.
“I have to find a way to leave here.”
The terrain around flashed in his mind. Based on the direction of escape, he quickly made a rough estimation; this place offered no escape routes, and the pursuit from behind could arrive at any mont.
“Let’s give it a try. Although I’ve only seen it once, the deduction now is almost complete.”
“This is not my ho ground; once I retrieve my body, I can oppose the entire world!”
He spread his arms, unleashing the power of the Aden Sword Imprint, creating a circle of complex patterns on the ground around him.
The basic lines were rearranged.
When he ca here not long ago, Roger utilized a vast array prepared by Olivia, although its principles weren’t explained by her.
But familiar with soul power, Roger quickly discovered that the Aden Dharma Seal also utilized soul power. However, the key is the fundantal core of the Dharma Seal’s construction.
It’s like the letters corresponding to words; no matter how complex the vocabulary is ford from the simplest English letters.
In the Aden Dharma Seal, it concealed the most basic parts.
Arrangent and combination.
Compared to the Array used by Olivia, the one optimized by the Hunter’s Cabin is simpler and requires no complex casting materials or preparation.
Going a step further, this complex array can derive more applications for soul power.
This ability engraved into the soul’s depths, though it’s the first ti he’s using it, felt as if rehearsed a million tis.
anwhile, Tristramy had already barely repaired the injuries on her body.
“He won’t escape, capture him and bring him back!”
She said with hatred.
“But, teacher… what exactly happened?”
Tristramy looked indifferent, without answering Olivia’s question. Instead, she casually threw several gold coins.
Before the coins hit the ground, they suddenly exploded, and several figures appeared in the tree hole.
Then Tristramy’s eyes glead, and a fissure opened on her forehead, from which a special gold coin squeezed out.
Though its size and luster were hardly different, Tristramy’s eyes revealed a hint of pain, and the coin flipped up and down, in the mid-air ca hissing sounds. Upon listening carefully, it seed to be the voice of Roger speaking.
Soon, the coin enlarged, one side revealing Roger’s likeness, seemingly having gathered enough information, a beam of golden light shot out, and Tristramy waved.
“Go, follow and bring him back!”
Several gold coin-ford bodies shot out rapidly, and a low voice echoed in Olivia’s ears, “What are you standing around for?”
Olivia hesitated for a mont, but still quickly followed the departing figures.
Once everyone had left, Tristramy slowly closed her eyes. The next mont, when she again “opened her eyes,” the whispering of specters echoed from the darkness, and several agile figures surrounded her.
Clearly, Tristramy had already used so special thod to transfer control to her controlled object.
The brief delay allowed her to regain so clarity. The strange circumstances just now were fresh in her mind, burning with anger, but she still opted for a more prudent approach.
