"But at that ti, no power could spare the effort to deal with these Demons, and ultimately it was the Mother Goddess who, unable to bear it any longer, violated the rule that gods cannot directly interfere in the world by using her authority to lock the bodies of the Demons deep within the Dynasty. Simultaneously, the intervention of her authority also caused an unprecedented disaster in the world, leading the outer layer of the world and the Gap to beco turbulent, making the First Generation Soul Minister think he perceived an opportunity to enter the Spirit Realm, but in the end he..."
Fisher furrowed his brows, as if he understood a bit of the Cardinal of Destiny’s implication,
"Are you saying that the seal of the Mother Goddess can only be broken by True God level power, and without a True God’s intervention they cannot be free, right? But at the ti, I encountered one of the Demon Gods, Barbatos, and his strength was definitely Eighteenth Rank, there’s no doubt about that."
"...The Mother Goddess’s seal was on all the Demons collectively, not on their individual bodies. Although the bodies of the two Demon Gods have left the Dynasty, they have not escaped the Mother Goddess’s imprisonnt. Soone just used so thod to create a loophole, making them believe they had escaped the Mother Goddess’s infinite imprisonnt."
Fisher pondered over how Helair managed to let Barbatos and Agares escape.
Helair, at most, possesses Nineteen Rank power, not even a demigod, a remnant of an Angel, where could she possibly have the ability to break the Mother Goddess’s seal?
But then the next mont, the Emhardt he carried suddenly moved, and along with it, an inspiration suddenly burst forth in his mind.
Fisher and Emhardt spoke at the sa ti, voicing the answer,
"That base!"
Indeed, when the Spirit Realm Pollution was about to descend upon the world through the Phoenix Body in the Northern Realm, there was an entity that stole it, which forced the Pollution to descend using Erwin’s body, allowing Fisher to use the Death Rune to kill and thwart its descent and subsequently be pursued by Death himself.
At that ti, Emhardt had not been pulled into the Dream Magic. Upon waking up, he told Fisher that it was Paimon who had stolen that base. But at the ti, he was being chased by Death, and he didn’t know Helair, so he didn’t pay it much attention, much less consider what she intended to do with the base.
Now it seems that the use of that base, stained with the breath of a True God, is exceedingly clear.
"Base?"
"It’s the platform ford by the flesh and blood of the entire Phoenix clan that allowed the Spirit Realm Pollution to descend. At that ti in the Northern Realm, it was taken away by her."
"The entire Phoenix clan... that makes sense. Even adding the presence of the entire clan with a bit of Spirit Realm Pollution’s aura, it would never equal the authority of the Mother Goddess; that power cannot match that of a True God, but letting the two of their bodies out was indeed possible."
Fisher understood the Cardinal of Destiny’s implication; his heartbeat gradually quickened, as if he had grasped the flaw of those seemingly invincible Eighteenth Rank Demon Gods.
"So, if we can enter the Demon Dynasty and remove the base that interferes with the Mother Goddess’s seal, then they will be imprisoned by the Mother Goddess’s seal once again, right?"
"That’s indeed the case, but I cannot ascertain the exact location within the Dynasty where we would enter. Besides, didn’t you just say that apart from the two Demon Gods who were released, there’s a certain originator with whom you share a close relationship? Are you sure she won’t interfere?"
Fisher paused for a mont and slamd the scroll recording the Demon Dynasty’s location onto the table, then resolutely said,
"...Even if she tries to stop , I must do this."
Emhardt obviously knew who he was talking about. Just thinking of that smile on "Paimon’s" face made him burrow deeper into his clothes, just as if afraid of the cold.
The great Book Knight decided to follow the incredibly courageous Fisher Benavides in raising the flag of "Rebellion against Paimon," but certainly, he would not be the one carrying the flag.
Paimon, the creature who eats people without leaving bones, yet Fisher could still get a few chews, otherwise he wouldn’t still be around till now.
However, he was unwilling to believe Paimon would develop feelings for Fisher, a notion more horrifying in her context. He rather believed Fisher was of temporary use to Paimon, so it was clear to avoid imdiate confrontation.
Beside him, the Death Lord had successfully resurrected; the flesh and blood on his body gradually returned to their original state. He then stooped to pick up the fallen flask and puckered his lips as he asked them,
"Can’t you change the way of appearing every ti, old Immortal one. Though I’m undying, having fate parasitized and stolen really doesn’t feel good... by the way, where were you guys talking?"
Inside his mouth, rows of sharp teeth were constantly rotating; each tooth had a small hole drilled through which ran strings of bright red thread.
The threads traversed through the mouth of blood and flesh, forming complex knots and overlapping layers whose specific aning was unknown.
Hearing the Death Lord’s question, all the knots in the Cardinal of Destiny’s mouth wobbled, and she then spoke to Fisher,
"We... just finished discussing your matter, and I was just about to ask about the Magic Minister’s issue..."
Fisher was slightly taken aback, but the next words of the Cardinal of Destiny faintly drifted out,
"I have a premonition, he’s already got so clues related to the Magic Minister... am I right, Mr. Fisher."
"Even... you might have already personally t her."
