Li Zishen furrowed his brows and said coldly, "Next ti, your allowance will be canceled directly."

"Wow, Li Zihan, you’re dood, haha."

Li Zishen: "?"

Li Zihan: "..."

Tang Xiaowan sat down cheerfully, still sitting beside Li Zishen, with the peony root sculpture behind her.

Trying to play it cool, Li Zihan started, "Brother, did you just think I..."

"Enough, Nanny Wu."

Before Li Zihan could finish, Li Zishen tily stopped him; Nanny Wu naturally understood, imdiately instructing the servants to start setting up breakfast. Once everything was ready, she led everyone out.

The breakfast was very considerate, not only including Tang Xiaowan’s favorite soup dumplings and fried at buns but also specially prepared lean at porridge and radish strips that she ate daily.

Contemplating this, her feelings were mixed.

She guessed that Li Zishen must have told Nanny Wu in advance, otherwise, Bie Yuan would not have prepared so much high-fat food early in the morning.

Madam Lai’s breakfast was light; Tang Xiaowan had long heard about it.

Usually, besides half a bowl of millet porridge, there was nothing else, and the al was served in the study around eight o’clock.

Tang Xiaowan guessed that this must be a habit Madam Lai had developed over years of living alone, which was convenient for her and also saved the servants a lot of work.

"Brother, what are you looking at?"

Li Zihan suddenly interjecting this remark made the atmosphere very awkward.

Li Zishen withdrew his gaze and began to drink the millet porridge.

"Hey, Xiao Wan, my brother is peeping at you."

Tang Xiaowan bowed her head in silence, slowly picked up the spoon, but just as the lean at porridge reached her lips, she suddenly stopped.

"Is it too hot?"

"No," Tang Xiaowan shook her head, smiled slightly at Li Zishen, then started to drink the lean at porridge.

"How does it taste compared to Granny Yu?"

"The saltiness is just right, and the at is very tender."

Hearing this response, the frown on Li Zishen’s forehead imdiately smoothed out, "I’m glad you like it; my mom got up early to cook this for you specifically, including the rice, the at, and even the casserole... all from Qingcheng."

"Please thank Auntie for ."

"Sure, I’ll definitely pass that on."

Li Zihan: "..."

Great, a well-coordinated couple, are they trying to split off, ignore my existence?

Ah, how did I end up with such a brother?

I’m so mad, he’s just burning bridges after crossing them, after I’ve been his ssaging tool for so long.

As Li Zihan was still secretly fuming, Tang Xiaowan suddenly stood up, covered her mouth with her hand, and started retching as if feeling very uncomfortable.

"Xiao Wan, you’re not pregnant, are you?"

Li Zishen lifted the cup of water, a glance swept over, and Li Zihan quickly shut up, reaching for a tissue.

"Here, drink so warm water, you might be cold."

Tang Xiaowan, never fond of wearing slippers, was sothing Li Zishen knew. Therefore, in Li Garden, not only was the bedroom carpeted with incredibly soft imported carpets, but servants also checked and cleaned them twice a day, all to avoid her catching a cold or stepping on anything sharp.

The reason Nanny Wu didn’t prepare last night in Bie Yuan was to avoid Madam Lai misunderstanding Tang Xiaowan as being fussy.

"Feeling a bit better?" Li Zishen asked with eyes full of concern.

"Yeah, seems like it’s not that bad anymore."

"Drink so more; if it doesn’t improve, we’ll get so dicine."

"It’s okay, just drinking water is fine, no need for dicine."

Li Zishen knew she feared taking dicine, so he didn’t persist.

Halfway through the glass of water, Tang Xiaowan suddenly vomited it all out, thankfully, Li Zihan was quick to catch it with a wide-mouthed vase from the display cabinet.

Just then, Nanny Wu ca over with a fruit platter, followed by two servants, one for serving siumai and the other for serving potstickers.

"Is Lady Tang alright?"

"She’s caught a cold." Li Zishen replied without lifting his head as he patted her back.

"Oh, then I’ll go make so honey ginger water."

"Just a little ginger."

"Yes, Young Master."

Nanny Wu took the vase from Li Zihan, then suddenly turned back, expectantly looking at Li Zishen who was still patting Tang Xiaowan’s back.

"Young Master, I forgot to ntion earlier, Doctor Lin is here, he’s currently checking Madam’s cervical spine. Maybe he should check on Lady Tang too?"

Tang Xiaowan quickly responded, "No need."

Her voice was loud, startling Nanny Wu.
