Leo Sutton was sure of it, Hector Chaucer had feelings for Tiana Linden.

But Catherine Armstrong and Gabriel Chaucer were worried.

Catherine sighed and said, "Our little Tiana is perfect in every way, but she was frad by that scum ex and her scum dad and brother, and went to prison. Although Hector Chaucer has also been to prison, he’s handso, rich, powerful, and has status. Will he really look down on our little Tiana?"

The more Catherine thought about it, the angrier she got.

"The Linden family is just awful."

"Jas Linden doesn’t believe Tiana is his biological daughter, but Daniel Linden is still her biological brother, right? He could bear to send Tiana to jail, causing her to suffer so much. Now that they know the truth, do they have the nerve to ask for forgiveness?"

Just as they were talking about Tiana’s scum brother, Daniel Linden.

Ms. Quinn, who was cleaning the windows outside, ca inside with a rag and said:

"Aunt Quinn, Uncle Chaucer, Mr. Sutton, Tiana’s brother, Mr. Linden, is outside the gate."

"He said he wants to see Tiana and brought sothing with him."

"But I didn’t let him in."

Catherine Armstrong was already feeling a belly full of anger because of the Linden family.

Now Daniel was right in her crosshairs.

She got up from the sofa and hurried outside.

"Watch teach this heartless dog of a man a lesson."

Searching for a while, Catherine felt that the dirty water used by Ms. Quinn to wash the cloth was the most suitable for dealing with Daniel Linden.

Carrying it, she stord to the villa’s front gate.

The dirty water poured out.

Before Daniel could react, Catherine had already begun to unleash a barrage of curses.

"You’re soone who acknowledges a thief as your mother and harms your own sister, worse than pigs or dogs."

"I told you this morning, don’t co looking for our Tiana anymore."

"If you dare to co again next ti, I won’t pour dirty water, it’ll be manure."

As the dirty water splashed towards him, Daniel quickly shielded the exquisite box in his hands.

It was tied with a beautiful bow.

It was a gift for Tiana.

It couldn’t get dirty.

Thankfully, he reacted quickly.

Daniel wiped off the dirty water splash from the box’s surface, frowning deeply.

He didn’t expect that Leo Sutton’s mother-in-law, who appeared knowledgeable and sensible, could be so fierce.

Daniel felt a surge of anger but didn’t dare to express it.

"Aunt Armstrong, what are you doing? I just want to see my sister."

Catherine replied, "Isn’t your sister Vivian Linden? Now you acknowledge Tiana?"

Daniel: "Aunt Quinn, when did I ever not acknowledge Tiana? Yes, I was stupid and did many things that hurt Tiana, but I’ve never not acknowledged her as my sister."

Daniel felt wronged.

With a bang!

The basin in Catherine’s hand flew over the iron gate in front of the villa and hit Daniel.

"Get lost!"

At this mont, Leo Sutton and Gabriel Chaucer also ca out.

Leo’s face was dark, "Daniel Linden, if you don’t leave now, I’ll call security."

Daniel: "Fine, fine, fine, I’m leaving."

...

Half an hour later.

Tiana and Daisy, along with Laura, walked hand in hand from the neighboring villa.

With light steps, they suddenly stopped upon seeing the bedraggled Daniel.

He was soaked, dripping with dirty water.

No need to guess, Tiana knew it must have been her mother, Catherine Armstrong, who splashed him with dirty water.

"Tiana, Daisy." Upon seeing the mother and daughter duo, Daniel quickly walked up.

Finally, his gaze landed on Daisy.

Daniel slowly crouched down, "Daisy, it was uncle’s fault before. Uncle knows he was wrong. Can you forgive ?"

Daisy really disliked the person in front of her.

Her voice beca fiercely cute:

"Wasn’t it bad enough what you did to my mom? Go away, neither my mom nor I want to see you. I don’t have an uncle."

Little Daisy’s eyes were filled with tears of grievance and pain.

Daniel’s heart was about to break.

Such a lovely niece.

He almost made it so she lost her mom.

"Uncle really knows he was wrong."

"Look, uncle has restored all the old photo albums."

The glazed crystal album inside the box was taken out by Daniel.

Daisy didn’t even glance at it.

He then held the album up and handed it to Tiana.

"Tiana, this is an album of us siblings, from when we were young."

"I was wrong before, I broke it."

"I made a new album with glassy crystal."

"Take a look..."

Crash!

Tiana waved it away.

The crystal album that Daniel Linden was holding fell and shattered on the ground.

He intended to use this album to evoke Tiana’s fond childhood mories.

As long as she rembered the beautiful monts of her childhood, she might soften her heart and visit her severely injured father in the hospital.

But the album was shattered all over the place.

The way he smashed the album back then was exactly how Tiana returned it to him now.

Daniel Linden finally realized the feeling of despair and pain from when Tiana ca to him begging for dicine.

"Daniel Linden, don’t push your luck!"

With that, Tiana took Laura and Daisy and walked into the villa.

When the three of them arrived at the villa’s dining room, Catherine Armstrong was just placing the last dish on the table.

Seeing Daniel Linden still standing at the villa’s gate through the floor-to-ceiling window, Catherine scowled, "Why is that bastard still here?"

Tiana told the kids to go wash their hands and eat, then set the table, "Mom, don’t worry, I’ve already called the police."

Outside the villa, Daniel Linden shouted, "Tiana, I’ll keep standing here until you forgive . I’ll stand here a day for each day you don’t forgive , no matter the wind or rain."

Catherine cursed, "Lunatic."

"Ignore him, let’s eat."

Shortly after, the police who received the call arrived at Leo Sutton’s doorstep.

Daniel Linden was warned.

With the intervention of the police, Daniel Linden had to leave awkwardly.

As he left, he held the shattered glassy crystal album in his arms.

Back at the hospital, Jas Linden saw the shattered album and understood everything, "Tiana still refuses to forgive us?"

Daniel said heavily, "Dad, the hurt we caused Tiana runs too deep. I fear a lifeti won’t be enough to redy it. But don’t worry, Dad, blood is thicker than water. Soday, our family will reunite."

On the hospital bed, Jas Linden said, "Daniel, try to reconcile Tiana and Aiden Grant. Their family of three should be together again."

Daniel Linden: "Don’t worry, I’ll find a way."

...

The Sovereign.

Catherine Armstrong had just put her granddaughter Penelope to sleep, and as she walked out of the nursery, she spoke emotionally to Gabriel Chaucer.

"I’m really not used to Tiana and Daisy moving to the next house."

"It’s suddenly so quiet."

Just then, the landline rang.

It was Hector Chaucer calling.

On the call, Hector asked, "Aunt Quinn, what stories do you usually tell Daisy and Laura before bed? What’s Daisy’s favorite?"

Catherine asked, "Why? Is Daisy having trouble sleeping in the new room? Hold on, I’ll co over to comfort her."

"No need, Aunt Quinn," Hector firmly declined, "I’ll take care of it from now on."

Even after Catherine told Hector what stories Daisy liked and hung up the phone, she still hadn’t processed his words.

His saying that he would take care of Daisy in the future.

Before sleeping, Catherine quietly figured it out.

She patted Gabriel Chaucer’s arm.

"Gabriel, what does Hector an by saying he’ll take care of Daisy to sleep from now on?"

"Could it be, he wants to be a stepfather to Daisy?"

Gabriel Chaucer, wearing reading glasses, looked at the historical book in his hand and chuckled:

"I’m afraid Leo was right, Hector has had feelings for Tiana for a long ti."

The neighboring villa.

Hector Chaucer had found Daisy’s favorite book, "Female Sailor’s Diary."

The protagonist is a brave little girl nad Charlotte Tanner.

She boards the Sea Eagle alone, crosses the Pacific Ocean, and outwits the Demon Captain onboard.

"Charlotte climbed higher and higher. She sneaked a glance down, the Sea Eagle looked small, while the ocean seed vast..."

At the door, Tiana listened to the man’s tender yet firm voice, gradually pausing to listen.

That was Hector Chaucer reading a story to Daisy.

She had just taken a shower.

She intended to put Daisy to sleep after her bath, but through the crack of the door, she saw Hector closing the book in his hand.

Daisy had already been coaxed to sleep by him.

Gently tucking Daisy in.

Such gentle care, even Daisy’s biological father Aiden Grant had never given.

Under the light, Daisy asleep, and Hector adjusting the air conditioning temperature, looked like a father and daughter who had been together for a long ti.

Asleep, Daisy still had her little arm wrapped around Hector’s.

As he got up, Hector carefully moved her little arm, cautiously turned off the light, and exited the room.

Upon leaving, he ca face to face with Tiana, who had just finished her shower...
