Thea Lynch expressed that she couldn’t understand.

She was very clear about Sarah Sullivan’s purpose for coming from Riverbend from the start.

It seed like she was looking for her, but her actual target had always been Ian Preston.

If there was soone to like, it should be Ian Preston.

What does this have to do with her?

Why did it suddenly beco liking her?

Clearly, they are peers, but she really can’t keep up with Sarah Sullivan’s thought process now.

"I have other matters to attend to." Thea Lynch’s patience was about to wear thin.

Sarah Sullivan enthusiastically linked arms with her, "Wherever you’re going, I’ll tag along first, and we can hang out after you finish."

Thea Lynch: "..."

Thea Lynch is definitely not soone with a good temper; the fact she hasn’t cursed from the beginning until now is purely due to her good upbringing.

She peeled Sarah Sullivan’s hand off her arm, speaking in a rather cold tone, "Don’t follow anymore. This is my last warning to you."

Sarah Sullivan completely ignored her warning.

Seeing the situation, Thea Lynch glanced at the security guard who had been watching for a while and was itching to intervene.

She waved signaling, "Security."

Sarah Sullivan was taken aback.

She thought Thea Lynch would say sothing to her; she was still waiting to hear.

Why did she directly call in security?

"No, hey, wait!"

Stratus’s security personnel are all retired military veterans, each one is a hulk, swiftly forming a wall of flesh, separating Thea Lynch and Sarah Sullivan.

Sarah Sullivan jumped up, barely able to glimpse Thea Lynch’s back.

The other party grabbed her bag and walked out of the company without looking back, not heeding her call throughout.

Once Thea Lynch’s silhouette completely vanished from her view, Sarah Sullivan switched to another facial expression, hands on hips, looking rather speechless at the security personnel in front of her.

"She’s gone, can you let through now?"

The security replied expressionlessly, "Sorry, not yet."

"... I need to get back, let through!"

"Please wait for ten minutes." The security made a polite gesture, "There’s a rest area here; you can sit and rest for now."

"Why? This is illegal detention!"

The security wasn’t fazed, "If you have any inquiries, you can call our complaint hotline. If you feel inappropriate, you can directly contact the police."

"Do you think I don’t dare? If I call the police, let’s see how you will resolve it!" She was slightly more courteous facing Thea Lynch.

Here, she saw no reason to show them a good face.

Waste of ti.

The security raised his hand in a gesture, repeating, "You can directly contact the police."

Seeing this approach wouldn’t work, Sarah Sullivan switched tactics, "I’m an important custor of Stratus! Move aside!"

"Sorry, everyone is equal. We act according to higher-ups’ instructions. Any person who harasses Foreman Lynch, no matter who it is, once causing her distress, even if it’s Mr. Cheney himself, we’ll stop them."

"..."

"This way, please, just wait for ten minutes then you’re free to go."

——

Ten minutes later, Sarah Sullivan exited Stratus.

The security was as rigid as wood, saying ten minutes, not budging even a second.

She wanted to continue pursuing Thea Lynch, but once she was out, there was no trace of Thea Lynch.

As she left, the security captain decisively revoked her access credentials to enter Stratus.

Great, can’t get into Stratus tomorrow.

Looking around, Sarah Sullivan planned to co early to the entrance tomorrow and try to intercept Thea Lynch again.

She knew Thea Lynch’s working hours, arriving at Stratus downstairs early next morning. Today, she was dressed less conspicuously, with a simple disguise, indeed resembling a passerby.

However, after just a dozen minutes of loitering downstairs, the security standing guard in front of the building picked up his walkie-talkie.

Sarah Sullivan saw this but didn’t think much of it.

She didn’t believe she was exposed until she saw last night’s security captain coming out with a few people straight toward her and surrounding her.

It was the classic scene again...

"Miss, loitering is not allowed here. Please leave."

"Can’t I just pass by? Does this road belong to you?"

The security captain amicably pointed out, "From here to there, including the spot you’re standing on, all belong to Stratus now."

"Fine, I can leave." Sarah Sullivan checked the ti, frowning and asked, "Just tell , what ti does Thea Lynch start work? It’s almost ten; does she arrive late every day?"

Sarah Sullivan muttered to herself, "No wonder she’s working at Cheney Corp; she’s just a slacker."

The security captain didn’t plan to say much, but he couldn’t resist upon hearing this.

"I’m sorry, Foreman Lynch was already upstairs three hours ago."

"..." If he hadn’t told her, wouldn’t she have been waiting here foolishly?

Sarah Sullivan: "Then what about her off-duty ti? Sa as yesterday?"

"Sorry, we are not sure about this."

"Brother, I’m begging you, just tell quietly. I’m not a bad person; I just want to make friends with Thea Lynch, just get to know her a bit."

Sarah Sullivan was smart this ti, not aggressive.

"We really don’t know. Foreman Lynch doesn’t leave early and rarely leaves on ti. There’s no fixed ti."

Sarah Sullivan made a sound of confusion, "Then what’s the latest, around what ti?"

"After midnight."

Sarah Sullivan: "..."

——

After finishing a eting, Thea Lynch went to the cafeteria for breakfast with Foreman Chandler and his assistant.

The elevator door opened, and before they even entered, they heard the voice of the deputy manager.

"Hey, just wanted to find you guys."

Old Gao stood in the elevator, "Where are you heading? The cafeteria?"

Thea Lynch nodded, "Yes."

"Co in quickly."

Old Gao beckoned to them.

The elevator continued downward.

The assistant didn’t board, wisely finding an excuse to leave.

Inside the elevator were only the three of them, so Old Gao didn’t bother with formalities, "Originally planned to talk to you guys in the afternoon. Now is just right."

"I’ve let HR send the notification; he should see it soon."

"Hmm." Thea Lynch adjusted her jacket.

Foreman Chandler: "After he’s dismissed, will it be hard for him to find work in the industry later?"

"Certainly." Old Gao explained, "Forget about the industry, even larger companies generally won’t hire such a person."

"Who would dare employ soone who leaks company secrets?"

"In a while, I’ll have soone pack his belongings and send him off, so he doesn’t co up and you bump into him. Who knows what kind of extre behavior he might display."

"Contact details, you should take care of that too. Avoid causing trouble for yourself."

Old Gao reminded.

"Isn’t he still on leave? Will he co back today for his stuff?"

"Don’t know, upon seeing the notification, he should rush back."

"By the way, Foreman Lynch, HR ntioned receiving several resus; should I help you screen them?"

Only she gets this treatnt, primarily because Silas Cheney repeatedly emphasized it.

Thea Lynch: "No need, just have HR pass them directly to ."
