Chapter 932: Chapter 533: King of the Gathering Place

Little Flower seed extrely spirited, having just burst out of the space, its entire body rapidly swelled, extending huge vines that kept rooting into the ground.

After that, the thick vines, sturdy as tree trunks, attacked the Fifth Elder.

The Fifth Elder hadn’t even reacted when a tendril struck him hard into the ground.

Before he could scramble to his feet, another lash struck his waist.

Poor him, at his advanced age, with old arms and legs, he was trembling from the lashes.

But in fact, he was not without the strength to resist Little Flower.

It was just that his cunning fell short of Logan’s by a whole level, for while they were talking, Logan had already stealthily set up an array, an array that could slow a person’s speed.

Stuck within it, the Fifth Elder naturally beca the focal point of the array.

Logan and Little Flower worked together, beating the Fifth Elder until he was in utter disarray.

“Stop, stop, please stop!”

The Fifth Elder was nearly in tears, scurrying away with his head covered, looking completely disheveled.

He had never imagined that the situation would take such a turn.

An alchemist he should be able to suppress, of a lower level, how could, how could he know arrays, and the arrays could burst forth with such powerful spiritual energy, that even his own Seventh Level strength couldn’t keep it in check.

Instead, he suffered a backlash and a rebound of spiritual power. The attacks he had used against Logan now fell upon himself.

Being hit by one’s own attack—was there anything more miserable in the world?

Yes, there was—being pursued.

This Logan, and that damnably fierce flower, were actually beating him so badly he was powerless to retaliate.

Logan, of course, had not a shred of pity for soone who wanted to kill him, left hook, right punch, here a kick, there a shove.

As for feeling sorry because his opponent was elderly, not a chance.

Eventually, the Fifth Elder had no choice but to abandon his dignity and kneel to beg for rcy.

“Stop, please, I’m begging you. I was wrong, I truly know I was wrong, I beg Young Master Logan to spare my life. I am willing to do anything for you, I’ll never do anything to wrong Young Master Logan again.”

Seeing this, Logan finally stopped his assault.

“This is your own admission, not sothing I forced you into.”

The Fifth Elder inwardly howled in despair. In such a situation, was there a need to say whether he was forced or not?

However, just as Logan let him go, the Fifth Elder’s eyes shifted, and right under his nose, he ford a seal and fled.

In the blink of an eye, the Fifth Elder vanished from his sight.

Little Flower was puzzled.

Where did his human go? Such a big human?

That human was quite fun to fight with, and when tired, he could be eaten, so how could he disappear in a blink of an eye?

Logan’s eyes briefly flickered, a glint of coldness shooting forth.

“Hmph, a secret technique. Seems this person’s background is not ordinary, possessing a secret technique for space traversal, likely handed down by his family clan. Too bad…”

He left his sentence unfinished, but the corners of his mouth curled into a sinister smile.

Little Flower shivered its petals, still confused.

“Owner, too bad what?”

“Too bad he still underestimated us, thinking we would be so unprepared against him. He is tainted with the scent of my array, he can’t escape.”

From the mont he started to attack this person, how could he not be prepared?

This man’s running away was like hitting a steel plate.

If he were a bit more honest, perhaps he might have let him off.

But since he dared to attempt escape right in front of him, then don’t bla him for being ruthless.

“Little Flower, chase!”

Little Flower might not understand what his owner was up to, but that didn’t stop it from getting excited at the command to chase.

“Alright, alright, Owner, let’s catch up quickly!”

On the other side, the Fifth Elder had seized the mont to use his secret technique and escape from that terrifying man.

He had only one thought—run, using all his might, run.

At that mont, he regretted bringing that man to his estate. It was located too remotely in the outskirts, still so distance from the bustling town.

Had he known he would take such a fall here, he wouldn’t have brought him along.

He needed to get back to the Johnson Family as soon as possible, or else, by himself, he would be no match for Logan.

This Logan also had so peculiarities. He originally wanted to swallow the Furnace Cauldron alone, but now it seed this treasure was not sothing he could take down by himself.

Thinking of the Furnace Cauldron, the Fifth Elder gritted his teeth, sowhat reluctantly.

But when compared to his life, the latter was still sowhat more important.

Just as he was about to leave, a voice trailed to him from behind.

“And where do you think you’re going?”

Then, a surge of aggressive spiritual power carrying Wind Blades attacked him directly.

After all, being of the Saint Seat Seventh Level, he barely summoned his spiritual energy for defence.

However, upon clashing with that spiritual energy, he was still outmatched and sent flying into the air before crashing down to the ground.

“Ah!”

The blades tore through his clothes, slicing his arm and cheek.

Looking at the blood on his hands and the drips falling from his face.

The Fifth Elder couldn’t believe it.

He had been wounded by soone, he had really been wounded?

When he looked up, the figure appearing before him was a familiar one.

Logan.

“You, no, it’s impossible, how could you catch up so quickly? I used an exclusive secret technique, it’s impossible for anyone to keep pace with . How could you, how could you…”

Because of the shock, or perhaps his blind self-confidence, the Fifth Elder was extrely shocked, his speech faltering and unclear.
