Seeing that he remained silent, the woman, thinking he did not believe her, hastily explained.

Hearing this, the woman seed to understand his intent and pouted.
“You’re quite the pragmatist, huh! Alright, alright, since I accidentally injured you, I’m willing to take responsibility. I have so rare Herbal dicines here; I don’t know if they might be of use to you.”
“That’s not enough. Look, can you let go so I can show you my wound?”
The woman tilted her head to look at him, her expression sowhat playful, but this did not beguile Logan.
He remained vigilant throughout, sizing up the woman up and down, and only after confirming that she had no backup and could not overco him did he release her.
The woman heaved a sigh of relief, clutching her neck, filled with emotion.
“You really don’t know how to be tender-hearted to won, do you? Such strength in your grip. Hey, let tell you, you won’t be able to find a girlfriend this way!”
Logan glanced at her impassively, indifferent to her remark.
The woman made a face: “What a blockhead.”
Regardless, she didn’t forget her promise and stepped forward to check Logan’s body, only to find a large wound on his arm caused by so venomous creature, with the poison already spreading.

Although she had acted against soone, she hadn’t intended to kill. Now, due to a misunderstanding, she had seriously injured him.

Logan looked at her intently, taking the bottle and sniffing it lightly.

Assured of its safety, Logan nonetheless allowed her to treat his wound, considering it a debt owed to him.
It was the woman’s first ti seeing a man’s strong arm. The potent scent of hormones hit her face, casting a blush upon her cheeks and a haze in her eyes. But after recovering from her daze, she still reddened, applying the dicine with all the care of a new bride.
After a mont, the application was complete and Logan dressed, preparing to leave.
Seeing that he was truly about to walk away, the woman grew anxious.
“Hey, you’re just going to leave like that? Won’t you stay a little longer?”
Logan turned back, looking at her.
“We’re strangers who just t. We go our separate ways; the sky is wide enough for all. Do you expect to stay and catch up as if we were old friends?”
The woman’s face flushed with embarrassnt, unsure how to respond to his bluntness. Logan had no ti for her awkwardness and, after speaking, turned to leave again.
She bit her lower lip with her pearly teeth, her troubled face watching his receding figure. She hesitated for a long ti but finally mustered the courage to call out to him.
“Wait a minute.”
Logan halted, turning around with a hint of impatience.
“What do you want now?” he seed to imply that the young lady was being unnecessarily troubleso.
The woman, picking up on that, couldn’t help feeling a bit miffed and pouted petulantly.
“Hmph, it’s like this, sir. The risks are nurous here in the Secret Land. I’ve only just entered and already faced many dangers, hence my hostility towards anyone on sight. Seeing that you’re capable, I was wondering if we could perhaps travel together. I assure you I won’t hold you back, and who knows, I might even be able to help you when needed. What do you say?”
She certainly dangled a tempting offer.
Unfortunately, Logan did not bite, bypassing the lure entirely.
“No need. I’m used to being on my own and don’t care for company. You should find soone else.”
Having said that, he intended to leave.
The woman was not content to let it go.
“With all the dangers and opportunities in the Secret Land, isn’t it better to have another person lend their strength? Why do you insist on rejecting ?”
Logan didn’t bother to answer or say anything further.
Just as the woman’s spirits faltered, she noticed a fluffy thing at her feet. Upon closer examination, it was an extrely cute little fox.
It seed newly born, a tiny and adorable ball of snow-white fur.
“Wow, such a cute little fox!”
