"Okay, okay," Ye Xingbei said, "I will definitely go to the school tomorrow morning."
Teacher Xu said, "Then I won’t disturb you now, see you tomorrow."
"Please wait," hearing she was about to hang up, Ye Xingbei quickly stopped her, "May I ask which hospital Senior Qi is staying at? My husband and I would like to visit."
"The First Central Hospital." Teacher Xu fluently gave the ward number to Ye Xingbei.
"Okay, I got it," Ye Xingbei said, "Sorry for the trouble, Teacher Xu."
"Not at all," Teacher Xu courteously said, "It’s common for kids to be mischievous, we teachers and parents just need to guide them correctly together."
Ye Xingbei chatted with her for a bit more and then hung up the phone.
After hanging up, she felt a bit bewildered.
Was she... being called to a parent-teacher eting?
She instinctively looked over at Lingyue and Xiao Shumiao.
The little Xiao Shumiao, who was just playing gas a short distance away in front of her, had sneaked off at so point. He was tugging on Lingyue’s arm, whispering sothing mysteriously into his ear.
While speaking, he kept glancing in her direction, with a guilty look on his face.
Ye Xingbei was both amused and exasperated by him.
She put on a stern face, "Xiao Shu, co here."
Xiao Shumiao shrunk his neck, let go of Lingyue’s arm, and slowly shuffled over.
Lingyue, however, swiftly bypassed Xiao Shumiao, walked quickly to Ye Xingbei, bowed his head, and said, "Auntie, I’m sorry, it was my fault, it has nothing to do with Xiao Shumiao."
"No, no!" Xiao Shumiao rushed over, anxiously saying, "It’s not Brother Xiaoyue’s fault, nor is it mine, Qi Wangze wanted to hide himself, we just helped him plan the route, that’s all."
"That’s all?" Ye Xingbei said, both annoyed and amused, "Don’t you realize that by helping Qi Wangze to hide, his grandfather couldn’t find him, got so worried that he fainted, and is now in the hospital? Have you thought about what if sothing happened to Qi Wangze’s grandfather because of this, would Qi Wangze hate you? How would you explain this to Qi Wangze’s family?"
"Grandfather Qi is hospitalized?" Xiao Shumiao said anxiously, "Then Zeze would be very sad! Zeze said that only his grandfather treats him well at ho, his parents don’t treat him well."
Ye Xingbei frowned and asked, "Since his grandfather is good to him, why would he hide and not let his grandfather find him?"
"He doesn’t want to stop his grandfather from finding him," Xiao Shumiao said, "He wants to run away from ho to make his parents understand how important he is."
"What?" Ye Xingbei didn’t understand.
"Qi Wangze saw on TV that a child’s parents didn’t value him, they were always busy with work and didn’t have ti for him, so the kid ran away from ho," Lingyue explained, "Qi Wangze said after the kid ran away, his parents realized his importance and treated him very well after finding him, just like other parents, they accompanied and loved him."
Ye Xingbei asked in disbelief, "So he wants to run away from ho to make his parents understand how important he is and to accompany and love him in the future?"
"Yes." Lingyue nodded seriously.
Ye Xingbei felt a bit frustrated, "What kind of senseless TV show is this?"
"I don’t know," though it was just a frustrated comnt, Lingyue seriously explained, "Qi Wangze said he saw it on TV, Xiao Shu and I haven’t seen the program he ntioned, so we don’t know what show it is."
