Chapter 737: Chapter 734: High Energy Laser Sweep

Li Zhendong, as an information expert, was specifically responsible for decrypting the internal data of this robot. “The basic inspection is out. First, so strange codes also appeared inside the program library of the A-36L exploration robot, aning that there were signs of digital virus transmission in the debris of the spaceship. However, before it was destroyed by laser weapons, it was diligently working for us, capturing many useful pieces of information…”

Zhang Yuan sat near the glass window, perusing the docunts at hand. “In other words, inside the Tos Civilization’s base, there indeed exists a mastermind. This mastermind could manipulate digital viruses to cause chanical rebellion, but because the distance was too far, it seed powerless. After all, electromagnetic wave communication requires a world.”

Next up, the screen displayed a series of images captured by the A-36L exploration robot.

From these images, it was evident that a large-scale gunfight had taken place within the battered spaceship; the cabins were riddled with various bullet marks.

Many corpses floated scattered about, so of which hadn’t even had the ti to put on space suits. These large dollfish weren’t from the Half-sphere Civilization; like humans, they couldn’t survive in a vacuum. This ant that these dollfish were suddenly attacked by the internal robots’ rebellion, to the extent that they didn’t even have the ti to don protective gear, and the massive air leak caused them to suffocate forcefully…

Due to the passage of a great deal of ti, a thick layer of frost had ford on the surfaces of these corpses, and all one could make out were their pre-death expressions of terror and anxiety.

Moving forward, there was the entrance to a spare escape pod. When he saw the situation inside, Zhang Yuan breathed a sigh of relief. “The escape spaceship inside is gone; at least so of the Tos People escaped… That’s good news.”

Deep down, he still hoped that the old friends of the New Human Civilization would survive.

As long as a portion of the population escaped, there was a day to restart civilization, although this task might beco extrely difficult.

The second effective clip captured: Inside the spaceship, so lights flickered on and off, indicating an unstable electrical voltage, which could go out at any mont.

The fusion power station in the energy room had long been destroyed, leaving only the battery packs still operational. Therefore, the rebelling robots wandering inside were also in a state of energy shortage.

Seeing this, Zhang Yuan analyzed, “So these rebelling robots, under the condition of energy shortage, did not attack the A-36L; they might have mistaken it for their own kind. But there’s also the possibility that the mastermind behind the scenes gave up remote control of these robots.”

On the other hand, super batteries that could last for so long couldn’t possibly be chemical batteries—only radioactive elent batteries.

According to human’s understanding of Tos Civilization’s technology, it was no problem for their radioactive elent batteries to discharge steadily for a hundred years.

Now that the situation of voltage instability had arisen, it ant that the ti fra of this accident was at least a hundred years ago.

Zhang Yuan frowned and said, “If we could get the battery pack, and analyze the elental content, we could determine the ti of the Tos Civilization’s disaster more precisely… But of course, there is another possibility: these images have been modified and are deliberately presented for us to see, though the likelihood is not great… The wreckage of the spaceship is too far from that planet, and without super-distance communication capability, remote control via electromagnetic waves doesn’t seem very realistic.”

Just then, one of the young people seed to think of sothing and said softly, “I suspect that all of this might have been triggered by that fleet. The timing is very delicate.”

“The fleet” referred to the one with nurous War Stars that humans had observed on their journey, heading towards the direction of the Dyson Sphere.

But no one knew where it had co from.

“Is there a possibility that the fleet, more than a hundred years ago, happened to pass by here and used a digital virus to annihilate the Tos Civilization?”

Zhang Yuan was stunned for a mont; indeed, that was a possibility…

And the tifra matched up.

Thinking about it, everyone felt a deep sense of relief. At the ti, the two sides had narrowly missed crossing paths!

If that fleet had indeed been a malevolent Level 5 Civilization’s fleet, upon encountering a Fourth-level Civilization, it would have annihilated them on a whim… Perhaps humanity had just been incredibly lucky to have avoided a disaster.

For no one knew whether this kind of Digital virus could appear right next to them!

Humans and Half-sphere people were able to sit here and ticulously investigate solely because they were fortunate enough and cautious enough, and because they were sufficiently far from the Tos People’s base!

If a Level 5 Civilization wanted to take the New Human Civilization by surprise, it would be quite simple with their technological superiority. They would only need to launch a spaceship carrying a Digital virus stealthily at The Kyushu, and without any defenses, The Kyushu would quickly beco paralyzed, leading to rogue robot incidents.

Could the entire Alliance stay in such a state of ergency readiness for war all the ti?

Impossible, without intelligence and informatization, can you still call it an interstellar civilization?

Could they really rely on traditional gyroscopes to direct missile launches? Rely on human strength alone to pilot spaceships?!

“Respected New Human friends, I have a better idea.”

It was Promis, the leader of the Half-sphere Civilization, who spoke, “If your experts believe that there are still hidden risks within the wreckage of the spaceship, I suggest using High-Energy Lasers to dissect the remains, followed by a thorough cleansing with Electromagnetic Pulse Weapons to clean out all the electronic machinery inside.”

“While this thod may destroy a great number of electronic components, ultimately we should still be able to restore so information.”

“We must acquire this information!”

His words were indeed true, the Tos Civilization’s spaceship had experienced warfare, with robots left behind; it was likely there were no survivors.

Since there were no survivors, the logical solution was to use Electromagnetic Pulse Weapons to clean out all the robots inside, eradicate all Digital viruses, and then exploration thereafter would be much safer.

“Yes, let’s do that, and then conduct a second exploration of the wreckage.”

The eting quickly agreed to this plan.

After the decision was made, The Kyushu’s “Death God Level” High-Energy Laser Cannon targeted the wreckage of the spaceship, and at a certain risk, moved a bit closer.

Following preparations, beam after beam of High-Energy Lasers swept over. This large laser firer, resembling an oversized radar disc, fired lasers through a central pulse apparatus.

Even though the spaceship wreckage didn’t budge, the shots still went awry several tis, illustrating the fact that distance is the best protective weapon in the universe.

However, under the relentless assault, the spaceship wreckage emitted large amounts of gray-black tallic vapor and was swiftly dismbered into five parts by the Laser Weapons.

Then, one after another, Electromagnetic Pulse Bombs exploded near the remains.

Without the protection of a tallic shell, the High-Energy Electromagnetic Pulses thoroughly shattered the electronic equipnt inside. The few lights that were still on went dark, and there were even a few modest explosions, likely caused by the rupturing of so nuclear batteries.
