Chapter 703: Chapter 700: Applause, Cheer with Applause!

Regarding the cooperation between the two civilizations, it involved the military, culture, economy, industry, and other sectors, but one principle had to be adhered to: internal affairs were generally kept independent and autonomous.

Humans had no interest in exerting long-arm jurisdiction over the Half-sphere Civilization. Regarding the rights and freedoms of the Half-sphere people, their ntal health, internal conflicts, and so on, humans were not particularly interested. Similarly, the Half-sphere people did not care much about whether humans were living well, so the existence of secrets between them wasn’t much of an issue.

Since they had Virtual World Technology, it was slightly more complex for people who wished to keep this matter hidden. Humans did not want to directly expose this technology, but the Virtual World had already beco well-known to the public, and discussions were also present on the internet. Although not nurous, there were so traces of it.

Thus, it would still require ti to deal with this issue. At a minimum, they needed to disable so of the content on the Level 1 internet, which was the public internet. They also had to initiate so big data monitoring intelligence to detect certain content in network instant ssaging; those who spoke nonsense would be directly silenced.

Level 2 internet and those with higher security levels would not be opened to the Half-sphere Civilization.

There wasn’t much of an issue with this approach, as when humans investigated the Half-sphere Civilization, the Half-sphere Civilization had also been reserved.

“No problem,” a security expert said. “This kind of exchange is basically at the level of ideas and culture. It’s impossible to fully achieve internet interoperability, nor would there be random population movents. Previously, when we interacted with the Tos Civilization, we often visited each other, and everyone knew what to do. It would be ready in three to five days.”

Thus, after this eting ended, people swiftly arranged an inspection itinerary for the Half-sphere Civilization, including schools, factories, entertainnt venues, and technological settings.

The reception personnel would focus on showing the leaders of the Half-sphere Civilization the entire system of social support, compulsory education, and social practice, and also introduce a part of the history of Earth Civilization.

In this way, the other party could gain a certain understanding of humans.

In fact, as a Fourth-level Civilization, the new humans were only slightly distinctive. Although the system of social support permanently solved the age-old issues of corruption and class stratification, compared to the “mory Template” system of the Half-sphere people, it seed sowhat insufficient.

But the current system of social support was already the pinnacle of what humans could achieve. To go a step further and emulate their “mory Template”, every new human citizen would surely be up in arms.

After the notification was issued, the Mountain and Sea Battle Star soon welcod the first ever group of aliens—the inspection team from the Half-sphere Civilization.

They toured one nursery after another, witnessing the formation of fertilized eggs, embryos, and the developnt of mature fetuses. anwhile, these Half-sphere individuals started clapping non-stop; there was a continuous applause along the way.

Clearly, deep down, they still yearned for this natural thod of reproduction rather than just having the appearance of a brain.

Who doesn’t love a baby with soft, cute, pink skin?

This was an instinct brought about by genes. Both humans and Half-sphere people were social animals with a certain level of Empathy, which included being moved by scenes touching their feelings and making evolutionary choices to assist weaker creatures.

Empathy was a very important aspect of the moral standards of interstellar civilizations. So human morals were derived from these instincts.

If so aliens possessed the sa “Empathy,” they would likely have moral concepts similar to those of humans, making coexistence relatively simple.

If humans faced a civilization without empathy, they would have to be much more cautious. Such civilizations could be similar to cold-blooded creatures. Their values could be mutually incomprehensible.

Fortunately, the Half-sphere Civilization also possessed biological creatures with empathy, so communication between them was not difficult.

For so reason, human babies would easily laugh upon seeing Half-sphere people. For a while, the nursery was filled with the wild laughter of babies; perhaps even the children thought this group of beings was rather comical.

Half-sphere people began clapping non-stop, twisting into the Yangge dance.

Clap Clap Clap Clap!

However, the entrenched cultural system ant they could never return to the past. Forcing a return to the past and creating normal Half-sphere people would only bring a great crisis to civilization.

“That’s really impressive!”

“What an impressive reform!”

Half-sphere Leader Promis sighed, “For the vast majority of interstellar civilizations we have co in contact with, all remain in the traditional mode of reproduction, unable to change the deep-rooted family system. The traditional family system, a product of private ownership, is not the optimal solution for the developnt of civilization and brings many obstacles. Of course, they are only third-level civilizations, and we do not know what other Level 4 civilizations are like.”

“Your civilization being able to extricate itself on its own volition is truly remarkable!”

“We were able to do this solely because of external forces, out of necessity… If not for various disasters, we wouldn’t have been able to achieve this.”

“Applause!”

It was uncertain whether this fellow was giving a complint or truly believed what he said, but he began clapping vigorously.

Subsequently, all the diplomats had to follow suit in clapping.

Of course, every Level 4 civilization has its own superiority. As for the current New Human Civilization, the ntal outlook is very positive and the public is very confident. This could be easily felt just by taking a tour around.

Then, the group visited the finals of the robot fighting championship, where two robots clinked and clanged, with parts flying everywhere.

This scene indirectly reflected the culture and even the ideology of the New Human Civilization; humans are still biological creatures that aspire to bravery.

Next, they visited an ancient history museum, which focused on major historical events during the era of Earth Civilization. The five major cradles of civilization ford a central thread, from changes in dynasties to the Industrial Revolution and so forth, with clear and accurate descriptions without any deception.

Humans had no need to resort to deception; this was the true human civilization.

“Ah, your civilization was luckier in so respects, your civilization was in the First Epoch, with the planet having fossil fuels like oil and coal.”

When visiting the Industrial Revolution, the leader sighed, “The historical period at that ti was too lengthy for us, wandering and repeating for a long ti, to the extent that so historical records were lost! According to our estimates, the era of wars might have lasted over 30 tis longer than the periods of peace.”

“Developing a civilization is truly not easy!”

Regarding various forms of exploitation and being exploited, the Half-sphere Civilization was already accustod to it, as most civilizations in the universe had gone through this phase, though with so minor differences in details. The Half-sphere Civilization was no exception.

From the oceans to the coasts, from the skies to the entire universe, the applicability of Darwinian principles was incredibly broad.

Species of natural saints were either eliminated in the long course of history or only applicable to natural-born gods with no survival pressure… Such natural-born gods were indeed too few and far between.
