The diplomat continued, "Moreover, they are immune to genetic viruses, you know that, right? After complete bionic transformation, they have lost their physical bodies and are basically immune to genetic viruses, whereas we humans are quite apprehensive about this."

"Scientists have always been studying nano-robots to guard against malevolent civilizations that introduce biochemical viruses on our planet."

A fourth-level civilization could already create so specific genetic viruses. If there really was ground warfare, it wouldn’t be unusual for so shells to contain biological viruses.

If a biological virus spreads, it can quickly paralyze a civilization, having a much greater economic impact than ground warfare.

There are several different ways to prevent these viruses. First is the prevention of human geno loss. If the Aliens do not obtain the human geno, they cannot create specialized viruses. Second, proper internal bio-security controls are needed with ultra-high temperature disinfections during internal and external movents.

As for the third point, studying various defensive nano-robot dications and accumulating experience.

All these preventive asures were already being undertaken by people.

However, the Half-sphere people did not face such concerns, as they could not be infected by viruses. Therefore, their War Stars didn’t need complex biochemical decontamination chambers, and they could even skip so of the research in this area.

Old Yang took over the conversation and said aningfully, "So when they actually engage in warfare, they are able to act more freely, unlike us."

"They are natural soldiers. Even if their spaceship explodes and their bodies are severed, they can survive for a very long ti. With such high-end bionics technology, who wouldn’t want to buy a set?"

Human bionics technology was still at a sufficient level; installing an electronic eye or replacing a leg was not a problem.

A complete replacent throughout the body was definitely not advisable, nor was it a human need or a primary research focus.

"Why are they standing inside glass covers?" a female student suddenly asked. "Since their entire bodies are made of bionics materials, are they still afraid of cosmic radiation?"

A male student replied, "This isn’t hard to understand. Even with bionics materials, the fragile brain needs to be well-protected. An extra layer of glass cover is a layer of security. What if there’s a sudden gamma-ray burst?"

The girl asked again, "But, what does it feel like to have only a brain? Many personal emotions are expressed through various organs in the body..."

"Their thinking must be different from ours. We can’t do what they do... keeping only a brain feels really odd."

As they conversed, the transport ship slowly descended to the ground, everyone felt a "click" sound beneath their feet. The ship glided forward a distance and then stopped.

Many Half-sphere people were already outside, waving enthusiastically in welco.

While clapping fervently, the Half-sphere people looked over the New Human Civilization spaceship. From the outside, the fourth-level civilization’s spaceship didn’t seem particularly impressive. Near the wings were so circular protrusions that looked like lollipops, possibly the legendary curvature engines?

These welcoming Half-sphere people were all very polite, just looking with their eyes and not whispering to each other. They then raised both hands above their heads, making a "surrender"-like gesture.

This gesture wasn’t ant to indicate surrender, but rather a show of cordiality and friendliness. It was unclear why, initially, the Gaia Civilization had set it up this way... perhaps raising both hands was ant to clearly show that they were not carrying any weapons.

Old Yang called out in his headset, "Everyone, put on your Power Armor, we can go down now... Reporters, make sure to record everything, don’t forget your primary jobs! And uh... we should also emulate this gesture. Everyone should have learned interstellar etiquette, right?"

"Understood!" The lady reporter smiled like a flower. After she descended from the spaceship, she raised her hands and locked eyes with a Half-sphere person, then laughed again.

Surprisingly, the Half-sphere person across from her seed to grasp the lady’s goodwill and began to clap rapidly.

Since the encounter was officially intended, it wasn’t as utilitarian as a trading market; beginning with discussions of conditions and benefits right away would seem too unfriendly.

After eting the leader of the Half-sphere Civilization, both parties first exchanged friendly greetings and gifted each other art pieces like albums and sculptures.

Then, there were a series of exchanges in both art and sports.

It must be said that the music of the Half-sphere Civilization was quite interesting. Their brain modules could receive frequencies similar to those of humans, with a music style akin to heavy tal.

As for sports, there were even more activities: playing U-ball, table tennis, and badminton, etc. The forr was a form of entertainnt in the Half-sphere Civilization, sowhat similar to rugby, while the latter two were human pastis.

These were just friendly competitions; winning or losing didn’t matter. Of course, humans were actually a very competitive species, so many participants gave their all, but in such a low-gravity environnt, it was hard for the human body to perform optimally, and against Half-sphere people with bionics technology, ball gas often ended in more losses than wins.

After three days, following these procedures, both sides had gained a preliminary understanding of each other and then began the first phase of negotiations.

"It seems everyone is getting along quite well?"

Old Yang chatted casually with his companions before entering the conference room.

"Yes, there are certain similarities in our cultures, and I believe our ideological levels might also be quite close. But as for things like societal systems, it’s too soon to say anything..."

Mr. Yang Fan from the Foreign Affairs actually had so thoughts; firstly, he felt this civilization was... quite decent.

During the prior interactions, although sowhat procedural and sluggish in so aspects, the overall relationship with the humans was harmonious. Cultural aspects are hard to fake and could reveal much through details.

Thus, completing so simple trades peacefully shouldn’t be a problem.

Secondly, he recalled the diplomatic purpose of this mission; the New Human Civilization needed their detailed history and formal ideology and also wanted to purchase a complete set of bionics knowledge, preferably bringing a few individuals back for study.

Especially the "Genetic Philosophy"—that was the real goal of this trip!

Zhang Yuan had nagged him about this hundreds, thousands of tis, making him feel rather pressured.

This task was sowhat difficult; it contravened so civilized taboos. As an interstellar civilization, they couldn’t just sell slaves to make a living like indigenous civilizations.

Old Yang pondered in secret, "The vast majority of interstellar civilizations don’t sell populations; losing a gene pool is very risky. I wonder how the Half-sphere Civilization really feels about this..."

The New Humans didn’t want to directly plunder populations through war; even though the other civilization was only Level 3, a real conflict would still result in loss for humanity. With the current ideological state of New Human Society, they wouldn’t choose to plunder proactively, and there would be a lot of internal opposition. Just for the Half-sphere Civilization, it wasn’t worth it.
